One of the best hospitals in Vidyanagar - Kachiguda area. The specialities in the hospital include gastrentology, neurological, orthopaedic and emergency care. The hospital has in house pharmacy and diagnostic departments. The only down side is that the non - medical staff ie receptionists, administrative and billing staff are a bit incompetent.

I have been to Prathima Hospital for my Father's consultation with Pulmonologist on July 11th - It was one of the bad experience and felt no value for human life. We have booked appointment with Dr. Muralidhar Reddy and paid consultation fees. Had to wait for an hour. Wad advised to undergo HRCTC Scan which charged INR 4100 (whereas standard cost is 2600.). Along with the HRCTC Scan, they wanted me to get 5 PPE Kits, 5 N95 Masks, 5 Gloves. When I asked why do we need 5. They say, Doctos who will examine the patient have to wear these. My question is - Why patient have to bear expenses and buy PPE Kits and other stuff for Doctors? Moreover, their Pharmacy is charging 1600 for 1 PPE Kit adn 540 for N 95 mask. Is it a Hospital or some loot market... Doctors are so greedy that they don't want to leave patients and wants to get admitted. Surprisingly, on cash treatments are accepted. Really want Govt to keep a tab on these...

This is one of the best commercial hospital (I feel) they ask you to do unnecessary test which are not at all required n at the end they say everything is clear. Covid-19 , experienced been cheated, Doctor was very good explained and enquired everything very nicely , thank you for the gesture and concerns. But but but , the management and staff all 420s.why ?? I will explain. Patient came for covid test , over call they asked us to come by 3 pm to meet doctor and so that Tomorrow test can be done. And told a total cost of 6400 includes , test , consultation , PPE kit. 1. PPE KIT THEY CHARGED FOR 4500 with no MRP print on it, mask they charged for 600 re. MRP WAS HAND WRITTEN. 2. ONE PERSON CAME AND COLLECTED PPE KIT , BUT LADY WHO WAS COLLECTING THE SAMPLE used same kit for all 4 patients. She has not used separate ppe kit. Then why dod they asked us to buy PPE kit. They did not even given PPE kit to patient. 3. Where did those PPE kit used ? It went back to pharmacy for resale. On asking why it was not used for patient. They made excuses. 4.finally after 6hr of wait test was completed. 5 pharmacy , they gave 350 rs medicine and told 1000. On asking how , they said yes thats the bill. Finally on calculating based on MRP it came to 350 rs. What a cheating this guys are doing. Purely business hospital. Worst management, staff at reception doesn't have minimum manners and doesn't know way to deal with people visit hospital. Private hospital charging 150rs max is govt rule, this should be notified to whoever comes for vaccination so that they can decide whether to stay or go for another hospital. But these guys doesn't notify anything until finally during payment and that after 1hr of waiting. And when asked about why not notified initially, they(reception) say "WHO ASKED YOU TO COME HERE?". That's how worst soft skills are at the place where is most needed.

Dr. Mr. Md. Mukarram Ali Sir has shown very keen interest in my treatment. Offered excellent treatment. Hospital maintenance is very good. Management approach towards patients is remarkable. The nursing staff services also good. The food supplied by the Canteen suitable for the diabetic patients. This hospital is very near to bus stand and railway station and convenient to the patients. This is the worst hospital i have ever admitted. They concentrate only on the outlook of the hospital they r least bothered about the patient's health condition. Doctors do not check the inpatients daily. If we have any sudden medical issue they will send the medicines after one or two days. Plz do not join this hospital it's waste of your precious money and health. Also this hospital is very commercial. Shashank Was really good polite and caring with compassion towards my daughter, good advisor Giving good direction and guidance helping my dots in coping with Diabetes. But the problem is Staff, nurses and Ward boys they are so confusing in terms of communication they only speaks telugu not even basic English on the other hand ground floor staff members are good. Very bad experience with the staff. They don't care for patient's time. I personally faced this issue with the staff from ground floor and first floor. And the problem was with the female staff. So it will be better if the hospital keeps a check on their behavior and improve the rules so that it can be more patient/customer friendly.

Today on 17/10/22 consulted DrPChandra Sekhar, Neurologist and he is very cordial and patiently heard my complications and examined me and recommended tests and medicines, for thevtine being. The GM RaghuMohanRao also helped in formalities and shown courtesies during consultations with the Dr. The ambience and maintenance is good in the hospital.

Honestly I was very skeptical about the hospital as I had no information about this hospital and have gone on someone else reference and another worry was admitting my father as covid suspect which primarily robs me from the opportunity to be with patient, my worry has doubled . But the staff over there Ms Ranitha who was taking care of facilitating communication through video calls.have actually made us more comfortable..... By talking and counselling my father which was something went above my expectation and administration. Lady Ms Swarna doing her bit. Apart from that being covid Doctors were not talking directly that made me bit nervous but their Councelling which he updated line of treatment. UTI report which I receive from the lab technician is absolutely incorrect I, e pus cells count 16-18 and went to ask management has adviced the technician to repeat the test again but still there is no quality in the report and technician has provided oral values of pus cells count 2- 3 in the sample which is very bad . Today I took my father for cardiac profile test, firstly they say Cardiac profile package ₹800, again they said ₹900 includes Dr consultation,I paid ₹900 and went to first floor for package test, blood sample person was good, then we went to ECG and 2D eco test room, we waitied for almost 45mins for our turn then my father went for ECG and 2D Eco this test is done under cardiac guidance but no cardiac doctor was available some technicians did it, they gave reports with 10mins then comes for Doctor consultation we waits almost 1 hour for Dr but still he didn't come we asked for refund we don't want to go for Dr consultation as my father is feeling low because of waiting time, they said we charged you 100₹ for first visit, at billing counter 20-25mins, for eco and ECG 1 hour for Dr who was missing waited for 1 hourhour, rude behavior person at eco room, had worst service killed lots of time. Please don't vist for cardiac package waste of money and time.

My mother had a brain stroke with seizures last night and had to rush to nearby hospital for emergency. Being at a walkable distance, we rushed to Prathima hospital in ambulance. Positives: - Emergency care doctor has attended quickly and brought the fits under control. He was able to understand her past history and guided accordingly. - They connected ventilator when needed and saved her life. Negatives: - We came to hospital at 6:30 PM in the evening. Neurologist visited only next day 11 AM. Until then, we had no clue on what’s going to be done. Whether we need to shift to different hospital or continue. - Looks like the neurologist is a consultant, he only stays here for 2 hours. So you don’t get to meet him again until next day. - ICU doctors just follow instructions on the phone and do as directed by physician. - We finally decided to shift to Apollo as we had positive experience earlier with Apollo critical care unit. - They took about 3 hours to write discharge summary despite chasing them that ambulance is ready. - Most of the things in discharge summary are incorrect. For example, my mother had surgery in right side and they wrote left. Which is an unacceptable mistake. As a result, my mom developed swelling on the right hand. Not supposed to put cannula on right side due to previous surgery. Conclusion: Luckily, we brought her to apollo hospital safely. Thanks to doctors and nursing staff ay Prathima for their help. However, specialist availability and critical care needs to be improved a lot. They must also work on being quick (office staff). I’d personally won’t visit this hospital for critical care again. It’s ok to go for normal OPD cases. Again, I’m sincerely thankful for their services.

We are looking for a good Hospital, at that moment we came to know about *"Prathima Hospital"* (on Road towards Kachiguda Railway Station) which is just 10 minutes drive from our house. *"Prathima Hospital"* is eight storied, very huge and big and very spacious. *"Prathima Hospital"* is with ultra modern facilities and fully equipped with Latest equipment and Machinery. Hospital is in very pleasant Ambience and environment is very nice. Upon seeing at first sight itself we felt very confident that my mother will get Good Treatment. After reaching *"Prathima Hospital"* we have joined our mother first in Emergency Ward, under the Supervision of Dr. Uday Bhaskar and Dr. Shashank. They kept my mother in Emergency Ward one full day. Then shifted ICU Ward and my mother was there for three days, to monitor her 24 hours. The staff in ICU recorded and registered every reading and levels in Excel like sheet, on hourly basis. When Sodium Levels reached to a satisfactory Levels then they shifted to Single Deluxe Room. She stayed there for 4 days. My mother was completely and fully recovered and she was discharged on 6 October 2023. After full one week stay in *"Prathima Hospital"* The Doctors (Dr. Uday Bhaskar and Dr. Shashank) are Very knowledgeable, experienced, confident and accurate about their treatment. Both are soft in nature. Here I would like to add one more important person name Dr. Revathi (Dietician/ Nutritionist), is very polite and answered all questions with patience and cleared our doubts with detailed explanation. Nursing (Sisters) staff are Caring and gave full attention. Ayaas and Cleaning members are very duty bound. Front Office and Reception staff are very humble and very friendly, always gave good guidance to us.
