I stayed at this place for 1 day during DEC '22 for my exam Rooms are very good with reasonable prices. Good and Hygienic, Value for Money. Staff behavior is also very nice. Especially Mr. Sandeep [ Correct me if am wrong] ....He guided me about the nearby places ! I had promised him that I would definitely write a review ... I missed it, today I recalled.... I had a great time ! All Positive only! Thank you Guys!

This is a dormitory setup property. With 3 rooms. 6-6-8 beds in each. Don't come if you have privacy concerns. Since property is in a great location and so much budget friendly, at a time you'll be likely to share room with at least 4-5 guests. Common washroom in each room. A common living room with TV and wifi where you can bond with other travelers. A common kitchen with basic utensils. You get your own ingredients to make yourself tea coffee or maggi. There's metro station just walkable. And lastly you can have thin crust pizza, sandwiches, burgers on the ground floor as this property also runs a public open cafe.

Superb location and service team; low price; reasonable rooms and toilets. Common kitchen. AC ans wifi. I was let in the middle of the night and allowed to sleep on the sofa at the reception. Very generous gesture

Polite staff, neat and clean air conditioned rooms, decent washrooms. Overall a good, comfortable place to stay. Also, since it is almost near the centre of city. Everything is accessible. Transportation, food, metro, etc.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Slackpackr Hostel for my IBS interview and I must say, it was an incredible experience. The moment I arrived, I was greeted by Sandeep, the host, who was extremely polite and welcoming. He gave me a tour of the hostel and made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. The hostel has a great vibe and I had some great conversations with fellow travelers in the common areas. One of the highlights of my stay was definitely the cafe at the hostel. The food was amazing, and I highly recommend the Mexican pizza - it was absolutely delicious! Overall, I would highly recommend the Slackpackr Hostel to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay without breaking the bank. Sandeep and his team truly go above and beyond to make sure their guests have a great experience, and the vibe of the hostel is unbeatable.

Summary – Good location, close to the metro station. Clean, roomy room interiors. A largely nice experience Positives – The Prakash Nagar metro station is at a 5-7 minutes walk, so is the Starbucks. The premises are in an alley so a bit insulated from the noise of the main road. The hostel exterior and interior is pleasing to the eye. The Deluxe King Room With Balcony on the 2nd floor was quite spacious, the balcony especially so, but I didn’t make much use of it. The room was clean and perhaps recently painted. I could watch the world cup final in their lounge, that was good. Wifi speed is decent. I had a burger from their in-house kitchen alongwith fries and drink. The taste was quite decent although the mayonnaise was too liberally put in it. The price was decent too. Areas of improvement * I asked for the broken toilet seat to be fixed. The receptionist seems to have promptly forgotten * the bathroom exhaust fan wasn’t working * At check-in, they should have explained how the heater works and also given the wifi password proactively. And explained a few details about the in-house dining, hostel information etc. but they didn’t. They should have a checklist for check-ins which convers all these points * the signage for the hostel should be improved to make it more visible and prominent. * The check-in guy can ramp-up the hospitality to the next level * the room should have had a bigger cupboard. It had a small one * the floor had some dirt marks that perhaps can be removed through deep cleaning * Clothes hangers should be provided in the room, without anyone asking for it. This is something basic. * Kitchen is very basic and just ok, looks and cleanliness-wise * the lift doesn’t inspire too much confidence and it stops with a mildly scary jerk with floor levels sometimes not matching. I hope it is maintained and serviced regularly * the room bed has sharp edges and does hurt when you bump into it. * The toilet door height is less and I bumped my head quite often * Toilet paper – why are Indian hostels so stingy with toilet paper. Why does one have to beg for an additional role frequently? Why cant they stock at least 2 rolls at the time of check-in, especially when you know the guest is staying for 3-4 days? * The auto-locking room door stops short and therefore doesn’t lock automatically * They should have a wire mesh covering the exhaust fan otherwise mosquitoes enter thro here. * Observations * the first night there were some crazy celebrations nearby and very loud speakers blasting devotional songs. It was extremely maddening. I hope this is not a regular occurrence here * there are few eateries nearby. The south Indian place, Nandini, which is closeby is just ok. Other than that there are few other options nearby

It seems clean but there were huge cockroaches on my bed n washroom. Gross.Also they have purposely cancelled my booking so I cant post an honest review but Il always find a way to help my fellow travellers. They didnt have a room for so many women so they turned another dorm.into a womens dorm which is fine but those women were so uncouth n loud disturbing everyone at 5am by banging doors n laughing n talking loudly.Nobody notices even after I complained nobody did anything.Also theres no sign in the washroom that says please use the mop to leave the floor dry. I almost fell not realising the floor is wet

Hi..I had a pretty good stay in slackpackers.I had opted for a deluxe room with balcony. The room was quite spacious along with a balcony which was also quite spacious.The furniture ,the colour combination of the room all gave a neat and clean vibes. Overall the room ,towels, bedsheets looked clean. The washroom was also maintained clean , neat, and hygienic.The location of the stay is close to metro station and main road where a lot of eateries, bakeries,and essentials are available.Have a cafe as well attached to the stay. Overall it's a very decent place to stay, safe for female travelers as well.lots of privacy to the private rooms. The common washroom downstairs is also maintained very neatly. The only thing is you will be a little confused about to whom you are talking over a call at the reception as 2-3 people manage the reception work on a shift basis .

Decent place for short stay. They clean the toilets everyday. Kitchen is okayish. ACs on all rooms. They have cafeteria at the ground floor which serves good pizza. Crowd is what make the place amazing more than the place itself. Giving 4 star for the crowd. The people working are really helpful.

Decent location. Affordable. Comfortable stay. Feel like home atmosphere. Friendly staff. Very close to metro station. Use kitchen like ur home. Laundry facility available. Secured place to stay for single female. Mr. Sandeep and Mr. Narasimha are managing it really well. Owner of the property is very polite.

It is just lovely. 5 min walk from Prakash Nagar metro station and inside a safe residential area so you don't need to worry about safety. Rooms are basic but internet and hot water available. The staff is so nice. They helped me with all the travel queries and I was able to shoot my stuff properly as I wished for. I am sure I will stay at this hostel again.

The Ambiance is simply amazing with a common kitchen and the out doors sitting areas. School type bunk beds fun. Great place to network and scout the city for business and pleasure. 👍👌🤝

Place has a great ambience. And the staffs were very friendly. The best things is where the property is located, the environment was calm, you can travel to any part of the city with maximum of 30 to 45 minutes. Prakash nagar metro is walkable with in 5 minutes.The lounge, the cafe and the private room was excellent. Was stayed here for 1 week , loved the stay, if you are travelling from other part of states, would recommend 100% here, price wise the private room was bit expensive but it was worth the value, if you want go for cost cutting you can take the dorm as well. And their pizzas and garlic bread was excellent too. If you are visiting hyderabad first time you can choose this place without any hesitation. Place is monitered by CCTV as well.

You get to meet a lot of great people too here. They have a cafe so if you're hungry I'll recommend the cafe . About the rooms, bathrooms, everything was super clean and tidy. The dormitory as well as the private room were very comfortable. If you're in and around Hyderabad, Secunderabad i would definitely recommend this place! The rooms were great. We took a 8-bed room and the stay was very comfortable. Sandeep is one of the best host I have ever seen. The washrooms can be better and there’s a lot of mosquitoes in the balcony. Air Conditioner was on throughout our stay and the heater worked fine. I would definitely recommend this hostel for a budget-friendly stay if you are in Hyderabad. Besides, places like Charminar and Lumbini Park are all near to this place. I personally want to thank the staff of the hostel, they so accommodating and very kind. I took an important exam and fortunately Slackpackr is just 5 minutes away from the testing center. Overall, it is a nice place, it is not located in the highway. It is safe and the essential stores (like Starbucks, Grocery, and restos) are just nearby. Prakash Nagar Metro Station is a few meters away, so you can explore Hyderabad using the metro. You can also order foods and snacks from their little but cozy resto located at the ground floor.

Hey people,a female solo traveller is here ,i loved the place, metro station is so close to the property, Nandini restaurant which is super cheap and tasty,and very gentleman,helpful kind staff !

Firstly it is a mistake from Agoda and Management both that my confirmed booking did not reflect with management but then they provided me a dorm room as a private. But early morning next day, even after i had locked the 2 doors, sweeper came in and entered the room. Me and wife were sleeping with our belongings because it was clearly mentioned by management that it is a private room but then too anyone can enter is a cheap action. It is a very low level dorm room, visit and book only if you want to spend a night with no imp belongings with you, otherwise i ll not suggest anyone to book in this. STRICTLY NO IF YOU HAVE FEMALE FRIEND AND BOOKING PRIVATE ROOM

It's a decent place for budget travellers. Our host Sandeep was very amiable. All the amenities and spaces in the hostel was kept clean. Women's washrooms were neat. Highly recommended.

Although there was late check in, it was done ONLINE via a guy from the US (!!) for remote entry through a small side entrance full of decorative pebbles which is a HUGE pain if you have luggage. What I found off putting is that not only was the female dorm washroom not attached, the bolt behind the first door right before the toilet door ,didn't work. So the inbetween area cannot safely be used to change clothes. That same outside washroom was used by everyone in the world (staff, swiggy guys, upstairs hostel guys waiting in the lobby, you name it). So people would need to wait in line long for that single washroom that doesn't have multiple booths or anything. One night and I was out of there.

Location : 5/5 1.SlackrPackr Hostel , one of the main plus points of this place is its location that is very near to "Prakash Nagar" metro station (Just 2-3 minutes walk ). 2.Almost many must visit places are just 20-30 minutes away from the hostel ! Standards : 4/5 1.Rooms are decent and well maintained , every day morning cleaning of the rooms are done , so as far as neatness is considered it's one of the most decent places . 2.Attached bathroom is also maintain well and is neat ! 3.The cooling of the room may not feel sufficient , but if you talk to the Host he will set the AC temperature and you will have a pleasant decent cooling room . 4.There's a kitchen where in there's a refrigerator which is another plus point! 5. Beds are also comfortable , I did not have any problem and I had a very good sleep ! It did not feel like I am in some new place at all! Comfort : 4.5/5 1.You get to meet many new people and the comfort + interaction among them will be good . 2.The host (Sandeep is best !)of this place is excellent in his behaviour and approach ! Nice and calm stay with lot of friends from around the world.... Americans, Keralites, Bihari s, Odisians, Mumbai salad, Nagpur people, MPs, Andra, Telangana, Tamils, ...... Must experience the beauty and mixture of all cultures under one roof top. We cooked..played music...worked from Hostel...jokes around...girls ...boys...sharing thoughts and arguments...day and night...watching TV... BABU is a very caring person in the hostel and Sandeep is very kind and helping person...helped me to find places, buses, metro..... Go for it guys...it is really fun there....

Bedsheets should be more clean. And atleast a tea/coffee machine should be in place. There is no cafeteria near by. Kitchen should be cleaned more often.

Worst hostel in terms of stay there is no proper management, you will not understand who is managing the property & during my stay there was fight & some incidents going on daily. So better to stay in some good hotel or other hostel. & not at all safe for female traveller. only plus Point is location nothing else.

The place is very close to the metro station Prakash Nagar which makes it a good location . The rooms and beds are good and clean but the common kitchen and bathrooms/toilets could be a lot much more better. The common area also feels very formal unlike the casual ones in other hostels.

Stayed there from Dec 26-30.Very cosy feeling,reminded me of my college hostel days,made some friends too.Very friendly staff who take good care of you,speak Hindi and English both.If you are backpacking through Hyderabad book it if you can.

The property is located near to Begumpet metro station and easily accessible. I stayed here for 2 days and the overall experience wasn't really great. The rooms are old and facilities are not really good. There's a common kitchen which isn't really good and clean, and they have a common laundry facilities @ 100 per time. The common area and cafe is spacious, so if you are traveling with a group, you will find it economical and okeyish. But when you opt for 2 shared rooms, it's totally not worth paying the amount. Better opt Redfox lemontree properties, which I eventually did after two days at slackpackr and trust me, they are best class at just 10% extra cost. Simply I would say I loved the place. People inside the hostel are so friendly to help you and serive is good. Main food is also very good inside the hostel but I think price is a little bit higher if you reduce the price of food it will blockbuster apart that my experience is marvellous. We have kitchen separate for guests were we can cook on our also that is also a one of the best option they are providing. Every one visit once and enjoy it. Thank you for such experience.
