Everything is good. Very bad attitude of the manager Mr. Shanoj Philip, who doesn't know how to talk with customers. We landed up buying similar design at higher cost from nearby store because of their very humble nature. I had expected better customer management from Jos Alukkas. Maybe try some other store.

Jos Alukkas is very famous for it's unique designs....Wide variety of gold jewellery is available here, Specially a good collection of good Bangles, earrings and rings is found here ...Be it a small item or heavy jewellery staff is very patient in showing the varieties and receiving the customers.... Like every other jewellery this shop also has different Billing method.... both making and wastage charges are combined and single amount is given,so we need to check with the staff about the individual % of making and wastage to get a clear idea of the total bill....

We had stopped by Jos Alukkas to buy a diamond set for our 10 years anniversary. When we were looking around , Mr Edwin approached us and showed us some stunning pieces. I am normally a very quick shopper but this being a bigger budget , had to carefully sift through the collection and Edwin was really very patient and he knows his stuff for sure quick to catch on our mind set and suggested ones that suited our taste. Not just him , all of them on that floor were very very friendly. I ended up getting an extraordinary display set complete with a necklace and matching earrings which I most definitely am going to flaunt it. We also ended up buying cute south pearls dangling Chandbali style earrings for my daughter. Thanks Edwin and Jos Alukkas for giving us the best price ever and I will keep coming for sure as always.

Jos Allukas is my family’s fav store. We bought so many of my wedding jewelry here a few years back. They have beau designs and temple jewelry, is our fav. Hemanth and Ajith, deserve a special shout out for doing an amazing job with our recent purchase. Hemanth made sure he understood our taste, and is so pleasant. Ajith made sure we got a good discount. I’ve got many complements for my jewelry bought here. We are so so happy with our purchases.

Don’t take any scheme with josalukkas. They won’t give your scheme money back even if it’s an emergency. You need to buy an ornament from them even if it’s an urgent requirement and you want the money refunded or if you want to break the scheme. The staff is unprofessional and cannot hold a conversation when you try to explain something to them. Very bad experience.

1.Indiscipline and unskilled staff 2.wastage % is not printed on tag to make customer fools 3.Showing high price on estimate with around 20-25% wastage charge and then convincing with discount 4.Because of above high wastage they are not allowing to take a copy of estimate or a photo in mobile also 5.In the name of free silver coin they are giving cheap silver coins

I had the WORST possible experience for the second time over! Last evening I visited the showroom in Begumpet with the intention of getting a diamond locket / pendant evaluated and eventually exchange it with cash. I had bought this for my mother way back in 2011. We preserved the certificate, but not the bill. We went to the first floor and told the salesperson, the name of whom I can't recollect of our intention. He asked us to wait and what followed was a show of their incompetence! He came back to us with a ridiculous evaluation and he went on to defend himself saying this was because we weren't carrying the bill. When I asked him to retrieve it from his system giving him the precise timeline, he came up to me with a flimsy excuse of not having records pre-GST. Though we were aware all along of a 90% exchange value of diamonds, never did we expect that the 'evaluation without the bill' would bring it down to a number less than 50%! We then asked to speak with the Manager, who was not only unprofessional but also extremely disinterested in talking to us. And let me add that this is the second time we were dealing with this guy. 4 months ago, we had to go through a similar disappointing experience when we went to exchange my solitaire gold ring that we had bought in 2012. What happened yesterday was a rehash of our prior experience! Anyway, we then decided to go to Joy Alukkas. And turns out that Jos's loss was Joy's yet again. The last time with the ring experience, we ended up shopping with Joy Alukkas and I bought myself a bigger solitaire 10 times the value. Yesterday again, we ended up purchasing diamond bangles worth more than 12 times the idiotic evaluation!!! I am writing this review so you don't end up wasting your time at an unprofessional, untrained and a rigid store like Jos Alukkas, like we did. Customer service should be taken a lot more seriously, as they need to understand that there are ways that they could help in cases when the bill / certificate is misplaced. One can always get the jewel reevaluated at their gemology lab. The customer shouldn't be suggesting this! What are you in the business for?! Such a shame! I'm definitely NEVER going back to Jos Alukkas neither am I going to recommend anyone else to. Instead, please go to Joy Alukkas (will talk about my pleasant experience and excellent customer service in another review)!

The shop is very spacious and big, where they have separated Gold, Silver and Diamond wings with two floors. Since, the proprietor is from Kerala State, their Gold is also very pure and reliable, when compared with other shops gold, especially in colour. In Silver section varieties are less, even other items also less collection, when I observed. Staff is cooperative and show patiently. Cellar parking available for four wheelers.

As soon as coming inside and starting to shop, the professionalism of the staff was made evident. They clearly explained all our options and we're obviously well informed. Initially I gave them a 5 star and changed it to a 4 star. I honestly would rate them a 3.5.. During my first two visits their response, friendliness, discounts, collections everything was good. The following day when I again visited to pay the balance and take the jewel, they weren’t very happy of me trying to check a few more models before I finalise on my selection. They weren’t against by words but their actions were not as friendly and supportive as it was the previous day. I especially was unhappy with the sales executive who attended to me that day, as he was a bit reluctant in showcasing designs and communicated to his fellow executives about my change of mind in low voice. When I am spending huge amounts, is it wrong to recheck my selection again? I Will surely visit the store again not only because I enrolled myself for a couple of schemes but also because I want to check again about how they will treat me in the coming days, before I take a final call. if I still find flaws with the behaviour or treatment, I may have to go to some other jeweller who can treat me with an open mind and supports me until I make up my mind and take a decision… After all patience pays..
