Very limited place to sit and eat. It’s on the first floor , you will need to climb up the iron stairs to reach here, not very safe. Parking is limited on the road , food is yum, must visit

Such a great little place! Perfect ambience, great customer service, and the most wholesome, authentic food. Had a lot of fun eating here. The place was small but very neat and had great music too! We ordered ting momo with shyapte and really liked it. It was a steamed bun served with chicken fried in garlic and chillies. The chicken was very flavourful and was a little too spicy for my taste but delectable nevertheless. The bun was soft and airy and went well with the chicken. We also ordered an egg thukpa and that was very balanced too. Really enjoyed dining here. Would absolutely recommend it.

Small cozy place that serves authentic nepalese fast food. Momos are always good and since the day it was opened I haven’t noticed any change in the taste. Mixed fried rice is a must try. Service is good and never had to wait so long.

I’ve been visiting this place since it had opened. Small cute outlet serving very delicious Nepali and Tibetan food. Their varieties of momos like Steamed Momos, Jhol Momos, Deep Friend Momos are a must try and they’re delicious. You can also find some authentic Nepalese Thali, Nepalese Aloo Dum, Nepalese Thukpa and many more. Really love their warm and homely hospitality. Prices are also very affordable.

Total 2 four chaired tables, 3 two chaired tables and well, if we are along with friends then we can suggest more than the table capacity. Food and ambience were peaceful Food these guys prepare is authentic to their culture. Very less salt and less spicy But personal opinion is ask them to make it spicy or add salt yourself

This place is a heaven for food lovers!! You need not worry about the calories when you’re coming off to this place!! 😄 Every dish is healthy and nutritious. This place is quite far from the city but you would definitely leave happy and fulfilled after a meal here. We tried out the momos at first. We started with a chicken pan fried momo and the chill chicken momo tossed in red sauce this doesn’t taste spicy but has a sour and sweet taste and it’s yummy! Do try it out if you love momos!! I’m a coffee lover I tried out the black coffee as an appetiser and then we tried out the Datshi rice. The place is basically themed on a Asian Nepal classic livelihood! The surroundings are simple yet elegant and beautiful has an vibe of the peacefulness. They have quite a few dishes where the recipes are from 🇧🇹 Bhutan!! :) The datshi rice is one such. If you’re visiting the place on a weekend then you’re in for a treat because they have weekend specials on the menu..oh yeah!!! 😋😋 We tried one of their weekend special dishes that’s called the Sekuwa Chicken it’s yummy trust me you gotta try this out! The prices for the dishes are very reasonable! :) Visit this place for a meal and come back happy!!! ☺️ A place for foodies wooo! 🥳

A small lil cozy space serving authentic Nepali Cuisine. We were here for dinner after a long tiring day and the meal was just perfect to ease the tiresomeness. Great taste, super good quantity and reasonably priced for the quantity they serve. The Nepalese Thupka one of my favourites was my go to from their menu. Momos and donuts sorted the rest of the meal.

It's a wonderful place to have food... a calm and picturesque restaurant, offering variety of food options. Small room over-all and not usually crowded, hence it's a nice place to have food. And the food they serve is delicious, tasty, and worth every penny you spent upon it. It's a sure to go place.

  • 5/5 Yasaswi M. 2 years ago on Google
My personal favourites here would be the chicken thukpa, keema paratha, chicken momos and you should definitely try the fried rice here! ❤️ I also enjoy the poori and ting momos with chicken manchurian here. The ambiance is very cosy and the host is friendly! 😊 These days I enjoy exploring the bakery items sold by mimy bakery here.

The interior designing gives a solace and homely feeling. We ordered Veg fried rice, Chicken fried rice, chicken steamed momos, Ting Momo with Chicken Manchurian, and Donuts. Amount of spices were appropriate, appetizing, and authentic.

Lovely Place. Lovely staff. Great Food. The food is authentic and full of flavours that a someone from North East India craves for in the city. It's a must visit place! Prices are reasonable.

Tibetan and Nepali cuisine in Hyderabad. We tried the tingmo with datsi (mix of Tibetan and Bhutanese cuisine), chicken shyapta, mixed fried rice, veg fried momos, chicken steamed momos. The food was up to the mark and the prices were correctly placed. Ambience was minimalistic and the music was perfectly curated. Loved the vibe and the service was on point 💯. Recommend : pan fried tingmo, veg fried momos.

Quaint little cafe with himalayan village vibes. They serve the authentic Nepalese dishes. Jhol momos and saadeko momos are my favourite

What's NOT to love about Aama's. Have been coming here for 2 years and have loved every single thing they put on the plate. My favourite has to be the thenthuk and thukpa though. Love love love this place.

  • 5/5 Priyanshi M. 2 years ago on Google
Beautiful it is. Authentic Nepali food, Impaccable music taste and cozy ambience. I loved veg. Noodles, chicken thukpa (almost tastes like ramen) and cinnamon sugar dusted donuts😋 10 on 10.

  • 3/5 dhritii d. 1 year ago on Google
The food was good, so was the ambience but It's just that the prices of almost all the items were absolutely ridiculous. Given that the portion they serve at unreasonably high prices, I'd recommend not to try this place. In fact, there are other Tibetan/Chinese places around this neighborhood, which serves quality food in good prices. I'd say I was overall disappointed at Aama's given how expensive it was.

  • 5/5 prodosh g. 3 years ago on Google
Simply amazing.!! This is really something one could have asked for around an educational institution like University of Hyderabad. With the authenticity of Nepalese flavour, it's a must go place for foodies!!!

  • 5/5 Seema B. 3 years ago on Google
It's a cosy place makes you feel like home. There is a seating arrangement for 20-25 people and the food choices are amazing and refreshing if you miss thukpas and want to eat food normally not served in the mainland. I ordered a chicken thukhpa the portion size was huge and it's very reasonably priced. It was warm and comforting. The momo platter was filled with different preparations of chicken mom's and the milk coffee was done perfectly. If you ever go there don't forget to try their cinnamon donuts and desert menu as they have really amazing stuff and your taste buds will thank you after the warm and comforting meal you just enjoyed. I know where I am going to go when I have my off days as it sure will uplift my moods. The service is amazing. Be sure to be there before 9:15 so you can enjoy the atmosphere and food.

You feel like sitting in some South Korean restaurant. Very neat, clean atmosphere. Very sad they stopped giving half portions of mixed fried rice. Most of the customers are students of Hyderabad University and they can't afford high prices. Nevertheless those who can afford go for any item. Mixed fried rice is absolutely must try, thukpa and even noodles top notch. Been Aama's customer for 5 years now.

  • 5/5 shruti s. 7 months ago on Google
Staff with cute vibes and the food is served very fast that too piping hot. It was my first time trying datshi rice alongside Jhol momos, after a long day of exhaustion. I don't have any reference to the authentic datshii rice but, the moment I took a small scoop of it, instantly fell in love with the taste as it gave me the homely vibe. I have tried better Jhol momos in seven sisters. Can tell you that, I would say they're really good with the taste. [4.5/5] ***Easily recommended***

Don't go by the fake reviews, just order veg steam momos and you will get stuffed cabbage nothing else. Even they provided only one red sauce which wasn't spicy at all. If they can't provide quality in the base items how could we expect in the other items. Waste of money.

  • 1/5 Arjobi G. 4 months ago on Google • 3 reviews
Very bad. Being a Nepali, i was very excited to try out the place. But it was the worst experience. Momo was very bad. Not even 1% close to nepali taste. Service was really bad. When i asked about the thali to try out, the waiter didn't even bother to explain.

Had ordered Thupka and Chicken Shapaley via Zomato earlier. Thupka was fine, but while eating Shaphaley, felt it would better if I had it at the restaurant. Finding it was slightly difficult (used Google images then). Small cosy restaurant. Coming here for Sha Phaley was worth it but what blew my mind was Ting Momo with Meat Balls... The Gravy with the meat balls was amazing. Ting Momo might not be for local audience, but I loved the combo. Will be paying a visit again!

This very nice place to eat especially for non veg. I mostly prefer here to eat mixed fried rice. It's very tasty. Compared to other shops I felt the taste is totally different. Mostly they are surving north-west dishes like tupka, momos, dasti rice etc.

They're being around for 5 years. I love their taken on the N.Eastern and Nepali food. I used to get their momos regularly in the beginning and when the restaurant started, I began visiting as often as I can. Its a good place. Momo platter is something I love and get often. Thukpa is lovely. My most favorite item there is the Ting Momo with the meat balls. Absolutely lipsmacking and worth every penny you spent on it. Thanks for serving awesome food. P. S: Those who run it need not be as serious as food critics. Smile once in a while and be a bit more friendly to the customers. In my experience, when you dont smile and try avoiding knowing your customer, the chances of s/he coming back is almost nil. Happy serving, guys!
