Mahboob Chowk Clock Tower is a five-storied architectural clock tower which was built in 1892 by Asman Jah, Prime Minister of Hyderabad. Named after the 6th Nizam of Hyderabad - (Mir Mahboob Ali Khan), the Mahboob Chowk area is considered to be an important part architectural heritage of Hyderabad..... The clock tower is erected in the midst of the small garden; it has four large clocks on its sides which enable the time to be seen from any direction. The clock tower is designed in the Turkish style. The tower is located west of the Charminar, not far from Laad Bazaar.....

Historical place of Hyderabad - but more maintanance needed. This place is called Mahboob Chowk. Even during day time, one can see people doing unhygeinic activities here. Lots of stalls nearby. It is near to Charminar and Chowmahalla Palace. This clock tower will complete a history trail for a day. Local foods are delicious.

It's a heritage building, which is also called Mahboob Chock. It's in very crowded market places surrounded by book stalls, old iron tools & utensils, different types of birds, and chicken shops.

A small garden with the tastefully restored clock tower comes as a pleasant surprise in the chaos and mayhem of old city. It isn't big, you can explore it in a few minutes. The nearby markets are worth looking at as well. Hyderabad has so many pieces of its heritage hiding in plain sight.

Mostly crowded, yes it's a historical place, the name of the main market is chowk, its old building is demolished and new building is under construction. There are other commercial places around the clock tower, like old and new tools, old and new books, old and new show pieces etc.

It was made long ago in the Times of Nizam or may be Quli Qutub Shah...it is very good and has 4 clocks on for sides but unfortunately the management is not taking care of it so the clocks are not working but it has been painted recently and it looks stunning . It is a heritage site in Hyderabad and is adjacent to Murgi Chowk. The clock tower has its own garden. Hope you liked the review. Thank you so much for reading.

The clock tower is heritage site but the upkeep is very very worst. It's surrounding area is encroached by dirty ugly shops and vagabond types of people were sleeping all around. Guys we're having lunch inside the beautiful place.
