I
recently
had
an
extremely
disappointing
encounter
with
a
Remedy
hospital,
specifically
their
billing
department,
and
I
feel
compelled
to
share
my
experience
to
warn
others
about
the
subpar
service
they
provide.
Despite
having
insurance
coverage,
I
was
shocked
to
discover
that
the
hospital
charged
significantly
more
for
my
medical
treatment.
Additionally,
the
attitude
and
demeanor
of
the
billing
staff,
particularly
a
lady
named
Johstna,
left
a
lot
to
be
desired.
To
start
with,
as
someone
with
insurance,
I
expected
my
out-of-pocket
expenses
to
be
reasonable
and
in
line
with
industry
standards.
However,
when
I
received
the
billing
statement,
I
was
astounded
to
find
exorbitant
charges
for
services
that
should
have
been
covered
under
my
insurance
plan.
It
seemed
as
though
the
hospital
was
intentionally
attempting
to
overcharge
patients
who
were
backed
by
insurance
coverage.
This
kind
of
unethical
behavior
is
completely
unacceptable
and
undermines
the
trust
one
should
have
in
a
healthcare
institution.
On
top
of
the
shockingly
high
charges,
my
interactions
with
the
billing
personnel,
especially
Johstna,
were
incredibly
frustrating.
She
was
consistently
dismissive,
rude,
and
lacked
any
semblance
of
professionalism.
Instead
of
empathizing
with
my
concerns
and
attempting
to
resolve
the
issue,
she
disregarded
my
questions
and
concerns,
making
it
abundantly
clear
that
patient
satisfaction
and
well-being
were
of
little
importance
to
her.
The
lack
of
transparency
from
the
hospital's
billing
department
further
exacerbated
my
disappointment.
I
had
expected
clear
and
concise
explanations
of
the
charges,
but
instead,
I
was
met
with
vague
responses
and
evasive
tactics.
It
was
evident
that
the
hospital
was
more
interested
in
maximizing
profits
rather
than
providing
satisfactory
and
affordable
healthcare
services.
This
is
not
the
kind
of
environment
in
which
patients
should
be
forced
to
seek
treatment.
In
conclusion,
my
experience
with
this
hospital's
billing
department
was
marked
by
exorbitant
charges,
unprofessional
behavior
from
a
staff
member
named
Johstna,
and
an
overall
lack
of
transparency.
I
caution
anyone
considering
seeking
medical
treatment
at
this
facility
to
think
twice
and
explore
alternative
options.
It
is
disheartening
to
witness
a
healthcare
institution
prioritize
financial
gain
over
the
well-being
of
its
patients.

that
we
deserve
better
from
our
