It's one of the best and major intercity railway station and biggest in Telangana region. After covid people with boarding ticket only can enter station and it has resting rooms,medical assistance available at the station and it has 24/7 wifi facility. Big thanks to the housing staff for keeping to clean and neat environment in the station.

Very busy railway station and always it remains crowded. Secunderabad junction is well connected to the Hyderabad metro (blue line - secunderabad east station), so it becomes easy to reach the station from any part of Hyderabad city easily. Plenty of drinking water taps, food stalls, paid/non-paid waiting halls etc. are there; however, not all the platforms have enough sitting places. Also, this station should have escalator or lift in all the platforms since so many tourists (of all ages) from entire India here with big luggage and it becomes really difficult to climb up the stairs in case the train is coming in other platform.

Escalator to take up to the foot over bridge is installed on all platforms. Would have been nice to have lifts or escalators to get down to the platforms too. Renovation and expansion work is going on in Feb'24 due to which certain areas are closed causing congestion and limited benches. Good cleanliness.

Visited the place on 10th February 2021 Station was clean, railway staff was not that helpful (as I asked something related to the upcoming train and the reply was rude saying listen to the announcement you will get the answer) Also there is scam going on with the bag sanatization, they charge 10 Rs and just pass the bag from UV chamber (I mean there is a time limit to sanatize under the UV light). Secunderabad is one of the busiest stations in the SCR region. There has been some renovation work going on (as of Nov 2023) and hence the facilities might look a little awry. There are some decent facilities in the station especially on the PF 10 side. (Bhoiguda side entrance). Toilets are available near PF 10. There is also a ramp for the Physically challenged. It also houses a lounge for the upper class people. There are also some decent food stall options. PF10 side has few stalls including a dairy parlour. PF1 side has got KFC, Food Plaza and the Vijaya dairy parlour. They may need to work on the PF indication board. PF indication or PF details are displayed in the last moment leading to people traveling from one end to another.

Crowded but neat and clean platform number 10 side gate. Comfortable for trains coming at 10 or nearby stations. Escalator, ramps etc. are available. Very well maintained and properly illuminated. Auto and taxi stand are available. Ola auto and cab are also convenient to call amd board from here. Ticket window is thr. Small temple is also at the gate. Proper security was in and out of station.

To save time and hassle free parking it is suggested to reach through rear gate which means platform No. 10 side.Good transportation facilities including taxi stand/OLA counter. Medical facilities are also available at this station in emergency. The restrictions in the entry at station after pandemic helps to keep out of beggars, thieves and etc. Good station have adequate cleanliness and hygiene. The cleaning staff are working 24 X 7 to ensure the same. And this is very appreciable. This station is located in the main part of the city and hence the bus and other conveyance services to all area of Telengana and Andhra Pradesh is available at all times. It is a well connected railway station having train services to each and every nook and corner of India from this station. It is a major commercial railway station of South India. Great station with many connecting services to all around India. Very crowded in most of the platforms, and dirty in the crowded regions. The rest of the railway station is maintained well and kept clean. The speakers are playing advertisements and it gets very confusing. The metro connection is pretty bad but it looks like that should change in a few months.

The biggest Junction in Telangana and one of the well maintained Junction in the whole of South Indian Frontier Railway. Always, feels excited to visit there. Although, needed some improvements like, 1. Putting valuable direction signs in all foot bridges for helpful navigation. 2. Announcement mics aren't clear in some part of the Junction to make it difficult to catch the announcements. 3. LED screens aren't there in some parts of the station which leaves passengers difficult to catch up.

It's one of the main stations connecting hyderabad to other parts of the city.... It's a huge complex with entry at both the east and west ends..... It consists of many platforms to accommodate the trains .... It's decently cleaned and maintained place... You get lot of rickshaw options outside the station to reach different parts of city....

Poor than before. 10 years it was better. I think there are chaos all over the stations. No restrooms for commoner and ample seats for passnagers. Has now become commercial hubs for private vendors and players.

There are n no.of RTC buses are there from every corner of Hyderabad upto late nights,also buses start early in the morning in between 3 to 4'o clock... Coming to railway station every time their will be arrival and departure of trains,in peak hours there will be many passengers waiting for their trains on mainly on platform no 1 .

Overall average in maintenance. Station overbridges is not enough for manage the crowd. And escalators were not properly designed and operating on and off. Platform no 10 is less crowded than platform no 1. But city buses is available from platform number 1. Redevelopment work is going on. Hope they will fullfill the demands of public.

Safe station. Police are always there. If you've done reserved tickets(except general ticket) you can seat in the rest room. I waited 5hr in the rest room..

Extremely crowded most of the time. No proper management system for the crowd pull. Most of the sleeper coaches will get filled with people from general coaches in most of the trains. (Mostly the one starting from Hyderabad) better toilet facilities are available. Just okey clean. We cannot find much food around the area, all the time. So it's better to keep your own food.

It is more than a railway station. You feel at home. However you have to be careful with your belongings (like any other public places). Whether you are departing or arriving, you get good retirement rooms at a reasonable price. One has to visit the Secunderabad Railway Junction to experience and enjoy its qualities. No proper ambience. Parking is very problematic on PF1 side. Autos and taxis are not regulated properly. Entry and exit are not wide enough. PF10 side is a little bit better.

This is a huge junction and it has its good and bad points. Outside area of the station is clean and organised. Inside, few platforms are dirty and poorly maintained while few are clean. There are many food outlets on platform 10 in food court like KFC, karachi bakery etc.

One of the more clean railway stations. Although today most railway stations are found you be clean and well maintained, Secunderabad station was one of the earliest to modernise. There are escalators on each platform and lifts in platform 1, 6/7 and 10. It would be nice if lifts are provided on all platforms as still many important trains do not come on the end platforms 1 or 10. And the escalators are generally kept operational only in one direction. But otherwise it is one of the better stations especially the Bhoiguda side. Although metro connectivity is there to Secunderabad station on both ends, it is not easy to reach the metro station directly from the platform. People with luggage will find it quite cumbersome and difficult.

I used travel via this station 🚉 from my very early age, found this to be very convenient and easy to use. Station is well designed long ago keeping the in and out flow of traffic. It has more than 10 platforms and multiple entry and exit points on both sides of station. Recent modernisation and improvements are well appreciated.
