Loved this place with pleasant ambience. Service was good, tried buffet here. Liked food here, but they should work on food. Many dishes can be better. Overall nice place to sit and enjoy vegan food.

Been there today. Staff insufficient for the crowd. So lot of delay in service. Also mix up by the supplier. We were served similar looking items that we didn't order initially. Our order came later to our surprise. We were forced to take these too. Certain items in thali were missing and only served upon request. All this happened is not intentional, but due to insufficient man power for the crowd, I guess. Food was good but restaurant rated three star by me due to poor service. Hope management takes care.

I usually go for weekend buffet lunch here. It's very delicious and reasonable. The ambience is great. They encourage local instrument musicians during lunch time live performance.

Food is ok. Biryani is ok ok. Had Taj special lunch Rs. 350 ends with ice cream vanila🍨. When we reached @1 pm, had car parking space available and waited for my turn to come for lunch 20 min. Suggest check swiggy Dinein app if any discounts are available. Toilet and wash area very good.

We had a business trip in Hyderabad and we stayed at this hotel. We found a very good deal online at super economical price. The only thing is that they didn’t add buffet breakfast in that price and I understand why! They have an excellent restaurant on the ground floor and super yummy food. I have attached some pictures for the same. Whilst our visit there were quiet a few functions on first floor of the building and it could be nuisance for some guests. Staff are friendly and helpful too.

Good South Indian joint at a primium locale. Had buffet which was interestingly good spread at that price point

Good food. Little pricy compared to other Tajmahal hotel places in the city. May be due to location

Had a late lunch, after they had run out of the thali. Their à la carte of South Indian snacks was great. Dosas, idlis, besibela bath ....

Their name is famous. This branch gives you good dosa but their idli and meals are average. Veg dosa must try

The variety of idlis was great. A must visit place for the best idlis that melt into your mouth, dosa with green veggie fillings and the awesome filter coffee to put an end to the exploration. Tough to decide amongst turmeric idli, poddu idli, idlis dipped in sambhar. The appam and stew are also must be tasted here.

For pure vegetarian people like me, this is the best place. The food was amazing and we liked the service as it was too fast. Staff were very polite, and the way they were asking about food every time seems like they were more concerned about the customers' experience. I recommend everyone to visit the place once for lunch or Dinner.

Beautiful Hotel at Prime location. Valet parking available. Good interiors and atmosphere.. Nice Service. Pleasant look. Overall Food Quality is excellent, few items need improvement. The price is higher compared to similar type restaurants.

The quality of food was just not right. Prices were 5tar. I think we are paying too much for this kind of food. Thai green curry was not available at lunch time.

Everything about the place is 5 ⭐... Location / Food quality & taste / Variety / Service...!! But thali food is reasonably priced. A great experience...!!

Would have Given still a low Star if available. Had a Very bad experience yesterday when went for Lunch with friends .we had a South Sampoorna Thali. Rice is not cooked,Bendi curry is very raw and stale. Rasam is watery. Very much overhyped place as for the location and Not worth 310rs a meal..

Very nice experience. Portions in Thali, small but guess you can ask for refills. Good service. Try the pipping hot Gulab Jamuns with ice cream. Valet parking.

Great coffee. I love it over Starbucks. Ambience is great. Parking assistance is key and they don't disappoint with a valet service. Service is old school. You get treated by stewards who behave like owners 😅, humility in service goes a long distance and they seem to reserve it for someone else.

Omg! Heavenly! The happiest place in Hyderabad, indubitably!!! The party halls, the menu, the food... everything! The ceiling decor in the party hall is breathtaking... One would go to this place as a commoner and come back feeling a royalty. Thanks for the hospitality Taj Mahal... 🙏🙏🙏

One of the best vegetarian options in the locality. We tried the lunch buffet. Except for couple of items in main course everything was good. Desserts were slightly more sweet. Ambience 4.5/5 Service 3.5/5 Taste 3.5/5 Value for money 4.5/5

Visited Dakshina Mandapam, Taj @ jubilee hills for buffet- lunch, pure vegetarian food. It was extraordinary. All the items were awesome . Along with food there was musical retreat which was awesome. Whole atmosphere was so traditional. Just loved it.

One of the most famous restaurants for South Indian food. The taste has remained the same always. Waiting time can be an issue but the service is always quick.

  • 4/5 Thiraviam R. 10 months ago on Google
Tried south indian meals which was very tasty and they had more varities in veg. If you want to try fusion of north and south indian food highly recommended place. Restaurant at nice location and easily accessible. Valet parking available and they have buffet on first floor.

We went for dinner buffet on a Sunday. The spread was good and the price was Rs.700 including taxes. There were two welcome drinks, two soups, two starters, paneer and baby corn tandoori. Curries ,rotis, biryani, noodles, pasta, curd rice, dahi wada, 3 salads. All were tasting good. In the live counter section, jalebi and dosa counters were there. Button idli and sambar was an added attraction. Fruits , two flavours of ice cream, cakes and kesari were included in desserts. We enjoyed the food along with awesome live bansuri music.

The Best Part of this Hotel is the Location 1 Lift is a Service Lift but it's not mentioned clearly. The Floor Nos. are mislabeled The Service is mostly good Food is good. There's hardly any Parking, most of the Time u have to Park in the KBR Park Parking Area

I have always loved this hotel. You should stick to the basics to enjoy the most - Pongal and Vada are out of this world. All other dishes are good too. The only food I felt wasn't up to the mark are the thalis. Buffet on the first floor - Dakshin - is wonderful too.

I have been coming to this hotel for quite some time and most of the time it is good but when I went recently it was disappointing. There was mixup with our food we ordered gobi manchurian but got veg manchurian. Not only that the food we ordered did not taste great the alfredo pasta which we ordered was sweet we did not think much of it until the paneer was also sweet this was extremely disappointing. The cold coffee was ok not that great and the person taking orders did not look interested maybe that's why the mix up. But please think and go. After eating most of my family members got a stomach ache this was horrible kids could not sleep properly

Me took my parents and wife on my wife birthday for a South Indian thali on 19th Nov. The thali was very bad in taste . No South Indian authentic. It was really a bad experience. If you are looking for a southindian food , then please don’t visit

I never stayed in this hotel. But I had dinner at their restaurant once in the middle of the week. Food is really tasty and service was good. Enough parking place available for four wheelers.

Average hotel. The veg food and breakfast is just fabulous.

  • 2/5 Shimael K. 2 years ago on Google
The service has become very bad. Staff can be unresponsive and dishes are served very late. When we asked the reason for delay, person taking the order simply refused to acknowledge that we had ordered. Food was ok. At times the oil in the food tastes of low quality- as though something else has been fried in it before.

Good place for lunch. Buffet menu is quite diverse including dishes from north indian, south indian, and east asian cuisines with good quality food and deserts. Starters, welcome drink and rotis are provided on table While else is supposed to be taken by you.

Taj Mahal hotel is famous for its Upma. It has a different taste, aroma, texture, crispiness. Since years am enjoying it. But yesterday they served it horrible. Bad experience first time. Felt ugly for ordering it. They missed traditional making of Upma which is unique in their chain of city restaurants.

The food was pretty good. I'd recommend trying this place out if you're a vegetarian. Loved the tomato soup of all things.

Had my kids birthday here in the 1st floor private dining room. We had a buffet for all guests. Buffet range was ok but some dishes like Manchuria are over and refill is not done . dum biryani is totally burnt. Schezwan noodles is oily. Rotis basket are served in the room but very less qty is given and not all guests got it. Pani puri water is empty and refilling not done on time. Lastly valet for parking is stopped and I was asked to park myself opposite near kbr parking . Only good things are ambience and live counter. Overall I felt it was not satisfactory and not upto standards of Taj Mahal hotel brand.

It is a modern looking Taj Mahal hotel. Food is tasty and they have a buffet on the first floor with a private room which can hold 10 people. Enough parking for week days and it can be hard on weekends.

Great place for veggie food lovers with wide variety of.choice ranging from South Indian to Continental/Chinese and other varities. Also offers decent option for Jain food.

Limited car parking is a big issue. Buffet is good but the chat items can be improved. Puri of the Pani puri & patti of Ragda pattis were below standard.

Food taste consistent since years. However the pricing is not worth the food. Chutneys justifies better with the amount of chuney they give. But Taj is not the best of service or food presented as per price

Went for breakfast. Food is good, tasty and authentic for South India Vegetarian. Service may be improved in terms of attentiveness and response time.

  • 4/5 Murthy M. 2 years ago on Google
Very pleasant experience. Attended as a guest of a function. Service was quite good. Very calm and serene atmosphere. Of course the food was not of Taj Mahal standard. But fully enjoyed as the family met after a long gap of two years due to covid.

Located in the vibrant neighborhood of Jubilee hills, the Taj Mahal hotel will offer you respite during lunchtime. The place was busy and buzzing with people and staff and we had to wait for a bit before we got seated. The food was delicious (soft noodles and fried rice), and the snacks and drinks were enjoyable too ! We did have to repeat a few orders as it seemed they were so busy that day.

  • 5/5 Sarala R. 1 year ago on Google
This was my first visit to the Jubilee hills branch and I really loved the food. The service was good and the staff were very attentive and friendly. Only one small error was that they served pista ice-cream when we had ordered for strawberry. They were apologetic about it. Hopefully this will not be experienced by anyone else.

It was too crowded on a weekday which was expected but the food was not great. Manchurian were burnt and very crunchy and sweet.Paneer and roti was nice. The staff had to be called on multiple times but food was served in reasonable time. I hope the management takes suggestions to improve.

The stay was just good. I do have a few concerns regarding our stay at the hotel. So we had booked 2 deluxe rooms in advance. But they provided us only 1 deluxe room and 1 normal room by convincing us that the booked room is unavailable. This was highly disappointing as we had booked for 2 deluxe rooms much in advance. Another issue we had faced was regarding the toilet flush which was not working properly but was fixed after informing. And also their wifi was not working and whenever we enquired they told us that the maintenance person hasn't come yet. Apart from these, everything else was fine and they provided delicious quality food which was quite impressive.

One of the oldest hotels group in Hyderabad, they have very good vegetarian restaurants across these twin cities. Food is too good and unmatchable to any other restaurant. Their service standards, the hygiene are perfect and every customer really gets impressed. They also have Banquet halls with best facilities. I keep visiting very often and relish the cuisine.

  • 5/5 Sudipta S. 1 year ago on Google
Had dinner here with friends. Food was great. Buffet spread had huge variety with live music. Kids friendly. Our host had booked a separate banquet room for the party. Staff were very prompt in their service. A great place to host party.

Been for the breakfast buffet today (Saturday) It's a wide spread buffet, has everything that you want in a simple, tasty, exceptional buffet on a weekend....my favourite was Pongal, the taste still on my tongue!! You can never go wrong with your choice of Taj Mahal Hotel for breakfast!! They are the perfectionist truly!! And they authentic coffee, tea are something that look forward to in each of my visit here...by the way, they had mango milkshake, carrot beetroot juice in the buffet, n i had both plus i had coffee too...i am greedy for their tasty menu u can say ;) but hey! I maintained my gaps between all these :D when in doubt, go for Taj Mahal Hotel buffet, no second thoughts!!!

  • 4/5 Ramana M. 1 year ago on Google
Good dining place with a good spread of pure vegetarian food. Buffet spread is even more mouth watering with South Indian, North Indian, Continental dishes, salads and deserts at affordable prices.. Must Try!

Food is really bad. Less options. Cake was dry . Food is bland. Plain dosa was good, but other than it's really bad. There are better restaurants and hotels near by , both veg and non veg . Ambiance is somewhat good but the building is under some construction. It's not that clean too
