他の方のレビューにもあるように、私も大森さんへは行ったことがあって大洗では2軒目のお店でした。
まず、お店が住宅街にある個人宅。
幟があったので、ここ?と思いつつ入ったら店でした。
駐車場がわからないため尋ねると、周囲に空き地多いのに徒歩2~3分離れた場所にあるカニ屋の駐車場を案内されました・・・やや不便だし、その旨はどこかに記載してほしい。
客席は民家の二間を続き間にしてダイニングテーブルの席。
既に来店していた二人連れと同じテーブルで、かろうじてパーテーションは置かれている。
知り合いの家に遊びに来たかのような感じ。
悪くはないけれど、大森さんのような料亭を想像していたので全然違っていた。
普通の民家で室内を開け放っているので、スタッフの女性の声が響く。
私が大森さんに続いて2軒目であることや埼玉からの来訪であることなど、私たちから聞いた内容を厨房やレジにいる他スタッフへ筒抜けにしていることが丸聞こえ。
よく言えば「飾らない、気さく」、悪く言えば「品がない」。
この状態が、スタートからずっと続いていた。
そして残念だったのは、当方12時半過ぎに入店し14時には食事を終えたが、どぶ汁の最後の雑炊を終えてフルーツを出した後、料理長は早々と玄関ドアの外で見送り待ちで立っているし、おしゃべりの女性スタッフからは出すもの出したら無言の「早く帰れオーラ」を感じ取ってしまった。←気のせい?でも夫も同じ感覚だった。
案の定、外で待ち構えていた料理長は見送りもそこそこに私たちが門扉から出たらガシャーンと金属の門扉を閉めた。
さすがの料理は、近くの観光ホテルで長年料理長をしていた料理人だけあって味付けもよく美味しくいただいた。
ご自慢の「何処よりも美味しい『あん肝』」は、確かにふわふわで口当たりよくいただいた。
料理は星4、全体だと星3というところかな。
我が家としてはもう少し「お店」スタイルのほうが好み。
