(Translated by Google) There is a parking lot in front of the shrine. If you go around the shrine office and proceed to the worship hall, you can reach the worship hall without stairs. There are steep stairs and tree roots from the front shrine to the main shrine, so please be careful not to fall. The two giant trees near the torii are Ibaraki Prefecture's designated natural monuments, ginkgo and sawara. Mr. Miyaji will be very kind to you. A handmade cane was kindly installed at the torii gate. There are also goshuin, omikuji, amulets, etc. You can go to Anryugataki Waterfall in about 20 minutes on foot from the shrine. There are also toilets near the parking lot. (Translated by Google) It is a famous story that the Median Tectonic Line, which is known as a huge dragon vein that runs through southwestern Japan, runs between the inner and outer shrines of Ise Jingu, but many of the places known as sacred places and power spots are large faults. Is deeply related to. This is no different from the example, and the fault valley of the "Tanagura Tectonic Line", which is considered to be an extension of the Median Tectonic Line, runs between Higashikanasa Shrine and Nishikanasa Shrine. It is read as "Nishikana sajinja" It is a very solemn shrine that stands quietly in the mountains with few visitors.

(Translated by Google) When you arrive at the temple, you will be greeted by the previous generation of Kihana Komainu. I thought it was a rather steep staircase, but the main shrine is on the top of the mountain. It was a tough process for my lack of exercise, but there is an observatory behind the main shrine, and the view will soothe your tired body. Above all, I am impressed by the fact that it has been here for 1,200 years. You will be impressed by the wisdom and efforts of your predecessors as to how it was built. Komainu by the main shrine. It's a little small, but it's pretty handsome. You've been protecting this place for nearly 100 years. I came to visit the shrine through the introduction of a friend! Hi, it's really in the mountains. It was at the top of a mountain! I climbed almost 100 steps for the first time! After walking for a while, I climbed almost 100 steps again! If you climb hard enough, you will see a modest shrine and a wonderful view! This is one of the shrines you should visit at least once! You can write your goshuin directly at the shrine office near the parking lot! There are huge cypress and Spanish mackerel trees standing next to the torii gate, so please take a look. The summit is rugged with rippled stones, so those who go there should wear sturdy shoes!

(Translated by Google) Arrive at Nishikinsa Shrine. I climbed the stairs and went to the chapel. Then I climbed the stone steps to the main shrine. I climbed a lot of mountain roads to the main shrine. It climbs quite a bit. The main shrine is on the top of the mountain and the scenery is the best. The enshrined deities are Omitaka no Mikoto, Kunitsune no Mikoto, and Sukunahikona no Mikoto. It is said that in 806, the Tendai monk, Hoju Shonin, built a shrine building and set up an altar to solicit and enshrine the spirits of Hiyoshi Shrine on Mt. Hiei in Omi Province.

2023.10.29 I visited three shrines: Higashikanasuna Shrine, Nishikanasuna Shrine, and Motokanasuna Shrine. The very long stairs are difficult. I counted up to 300 steps but gave up halfway through. There is an observation deck at the top. The view is very nice.

First of all, in order to reach this shrine, you have to climb up a narrow and winding mountain road. There were no cars passing each other on the way, so I was a little worried, wondering, ``Are we sure this is the right road?'' (lol) This shrine is also famous for being the location of the ``Battle of Golden Sand Castle'', which was fought by Minamoto no Yoritomo in his quest to establish a samurai government, and to eliminate the Satake clan, which was a major force in the Heike faction in the Kanto region. . In addition, the Satake clan barricaded themselves here during the Nanbokucho period and the Sengoku period, and it seems that it was treated as a ``Kakekomi Shrine'' rather than a ``Kakekomi Shrine'' (lol). The Satake clan, who had deep connections with the local community, was probably able to receive various benefits from the shrine, such as provision of food, enemy information, and securing an escape route. When the castle actually fell during the Battle of Kinsa Castle, the defender, Hideyoshi Satake, managed to escape the siege and escape to Oshu. The main hall of the shrine (Honkuruwa) is located on the top of Mt. Nishikana Suna Mountain, which is covered with rocks, and the sheer cliff of about 100 meters that falls from the west side of the main shrine is especially impressive. It is completely impossible to attack from here. It is believed that even before the shrine was built, it has been worshiped since the Jomon-Yayoi period as a sacred place for the Iwaza and mountain worshipers, who believe that ``God dwells in large rocks'' and ``rocky mountains are the boundary between this and the other world.'' I feel like I value that more than a god created by humans later (lol). If you look at the shrine as a castle ruin, you won't see any defensive facilities such as a dry moat or earthworks, but only this steep slope and narrow mountain path. That must have been enough. In fact, during the ``Battle of Golden Sand Castle,'' Yoritomo's forces were unable to take advantage of the large army and failed. For Satake's side, it's really easy as all you have to do is take out the first two or three people in order who are stuck on a steep slope (lol). In the end, with the help of Yoshisue, a member of the Satake clan who was knowledgeable about geography, they were able to successfully conquer the area by attacking from the ground up. It's as if you were standing at the front door and the other person barged in through the back door. Well, the road to the main shrine is narrow and steep since Yoritomo was unable to attack (lol), but let's try to feel like Yoritomo's soldiers and aim for the top of the mountain. There are wonderful views overlooking the mountains.

I went to visit Higashi Sunayama Shrine as a pair. I'm going to climb quite a few stairs. There is a path beside the shrine that allows you to climb further. It's like the Okumiya and observation deck. There is moss on the stairs, so be careful where you step.

Thank you for coming to this shrine. Okunomiya was at the top, and I had to climb stairs and tree roots to get there, but I was surprised at my lack of physical strength. When I saw the view from the top, my fatigue disappeared. I stopped by the shrine office on my way home, and the chief priest's personality made me want to visit the shrine even more.

I think this was my third visit, and I drove past the torii gate and climbed up the narrow road. I went there for the first time in a while. It was beautiful with a light layer of snow 😂The view from the side of the main hall after climbing the narrow path and the stairs under the roots of the trees to reach the main hall at the top was amazing. If it's sunny, you can see Mt. Fuji🗻. I thought it would be nice to go again on a sunny day.

(Translated by Google) pretty deep temple Go up the road with only one car, and you will arrive. There is parking on the road and toilets. It seems to be a temple with a long history, and everything from the torii gate to the approach to the shrine has a solemn atmosphere. I went to Okunoin, but it was a place where the atmosphere was really different. It seems that there is a waterfall in the back, but this time it is so far I don't know what it's called I think it's a good place to visit once.

I visited Nishikanasuna Shrine. The large ginkgo tree at the entrance was beautiful, and I climbed the stairs to the worship hall, then climbed the stairs again and walked to the main hall for the first time in a while. Unfortunately, the view from the top of the mountain tends to be cloudy, but if the weather is nice, you can even see Mt. Fuji in the distance.I will visit the shrine again on a sunny day.

This is a shrine with a history that sits on the top of Mt. Nishikanesuna (altitude: 418m). I visited the shrine today to replenish my energy. Climb up the steep stairs to reach the ``haiden'' and then climb further up to the ``main shrine'' at the top of the mountain, surrounded by sheer cliffs with a spectacular view! 😃 I received the goshuin stamp directly at the shrine office.

Climbing the stairs was difficult as the heights and angles were different in some places, but the views from the two observation decks at the top were spectacular.
