資格試験のため、駅に近くて値段も手頃なこのホテルを利用させて貰いました。
まずチェックイン時、スタッフさんからアメニティやウェルカムドリンク等のサービスの説明を受けました。とても丁寧で分かりやすかったです。9日の18時頃に対応して頂いた男性スタッフさん、ありがとうございました。
次にフロントで料金を支払い、鍵を借りて入室しました。鍵を差し込んで開けるタイプなので、部屋に鍵を閉じ込める心配がないのは個人的にとても助かります。
客室ですが、他の方も書いていらっしゃるように、清掃が行き届いていると感じました。冷蔵庫やテレビの上、机の隅、ユニットバス内のアメニティが置いてあるスペース、トイレの蓋にもホコリが積もっておらず、驚きました。こんなにきれいに掃除がされたホテルに泊まったのは初めてです。ユニットバス内のカーテンに黒い斑点がなかったのはさすがに掃除うんぬんより替えたばかりだったのかな？とは思いますが、どこもかしこもピカピカで、とても気持ちよく過ごせました。
手もとを照らせる電気スタンドは備え付けられてなかったので、勉強するときはベッド上のライトを机に向けて明かりを確保してました。差し込み口が5、6箇所のコンセントタップがあるのでパソコンを使うのには苦労しなさそうですが、書き物をするとなると一工夫必要かもしれません。
また、机にお湯を沸かせる機械がありますが、金属製のコップに持ち手部分にかぶるくらいまで水を入れると沸騰したとにお湯が若干ふきこぼれてきます。蓋がぐらぐら揺れてその隙間から周囲に若干熱湯が散りますので、入れる水の量はコップ半分くらいが安全だと思われます。
備え付けの設備といえば、サニタリーバッグの類いはないようでした。部屋のゴミ箱を使うのは気が引けたので外出ついでに公共施設のトイレで済ませましたが、気になる方は専用のゴミ袋を持参してもいいかもしれません。
ちなみに、櫛は公式ホームページのアメニティ案内欄に表記がありませんでしたが、フロントに置いてあったので利用可能です(各部屋に置いてある、サービス等が書かれたファイル内には記載あり)。
加えて朝食についてですが、こちらも他の方が仰っているように無料とは思えない量でした。コロナの影響で、バイキングではなく、盛り付けされたプレートを取っていく方式に変わったらしいです。数種類のパン、サラダやスクランブルエッグが乗ったプレート、パスタ、麦茶や牛乳などの飲み物、デザートの杏仁豆腐、スタッフさんが持ってきてくれるスープ、充分にお腹を満たせました。トレーを片付けて部屋に戻ろうとすると、女性スタッフさんからのお気をつけてとの温かい言葉、嬉しかったです。朝食サービスが終わりに近い時間でお客さんも少なかったですが、食事を終えたお客さん全員に声をかけてらっしゃいました。
最後にチェックアウトですが、ここでもハキハキ喋る元気なフロントスタッフさんに気持ちよく送り出して頂きました。
自分が今まで利用した中で一番過ごしやすかったビジネスホテルです。また水戸に行く機会があれば是非利用したいと思います。
