We did a riding tour with Johanna at Polar Hestar. She was absolutely fantastic! The horses are very well looked after, the surrounding area is idyllic, and the tour caters to your experience. We had an absolutely amazing time. I’ve done a lot of riding tours before and this one was by far the best. I could not recommend it enough. 10/10

Great place with beautiful scenic beauty. The guided tours are excellent. The guides are very very friendly and careful with the kids. Irrespective of whether you are a beginer or an experienced rider, if you love horse riding, please make sure to visit here and soak in the beauty of iceland's nature riding on a horse. A refreshment with cookies, cake, coffee/ tea with the mesmerizing scenic beauty after the seals the adventure with a memorable experience. A must do for the kids. Enjoyment is guaranteed.

Excellent experience! We did a winter ride and would definitely recommend it. The views were outstanding, our guide was very helpful, and the horses were very gentle. Tea was even provided after the ride which was a nice surprise.

Very nice tour guide and gentle horses. They try to match a horse to your experience, which is very nice. Furthermore the ride itself can be tailored depending on the experience of the riders in the group. They let us tölt and galop when possible. Also the landscape is beautiful.

Went on a spontaneous Iceland winter trip and went riding at this place! Easy to setup last minute via email and found the farm on google maps without an internet plan! Great tour guide who provided plenty of information and a fun ride based on our comfort. One thing to note is the paths are limited in the winter, so parts of the ride are on the main road. Highly recommend this!!

Was one of my favorite experiences in Iceland! We went middle of May. Karen met us outside when we arrived and explained everything to us. It was just us three and it was gorgeous outside. They even offered us coffee/ tea and snacks afterwards!

This was an amazing experience! They were very accommodating, we emailed them in the evening and we were able to book a 2 hours tour for the next morning! Our guide was very nice and horses are so calm and well trained. Breathtaking views! Highly recommend to stop by and have a great time here!

I took a 3 hour riding tour and it was perfect. The horses are so lovely and well behaved, the tour was beautiful and our guide was both a skilled riding tour guide and a wonderful person to chat with. I will definitely book with Pólar Hestar again when I have the chance, can only recommend!

Very lovely place to go horseriding. Great experience to ride an islandic horse. Beautiful views at the fjord and very nice to get to gallops as experienced riders ! Girls were lovely and helpful. Great cake when we came back. We were lucky with the weather !!

Loved the horses here 😍 I was on a two hour riding trip. They ask your previous experience when you book, so I was happy to get “faster” horse with my experience. Would be nice to ride with experienced group, now we were mixed with a child in the group as well. Coffee and a tiny piece of cake after the ride. Our guide was good, but would be nice if she would sit down with us for a coffee after the ride and tell us more about the stable, horses life etc.

My family and I had a wonderful riding tour with Mik. She was a very experienced, kind and positive guide. Our horses were very cute and kind as well! We went on the three hour tour and it was marvelous to ride through the Icelandic nature. The riding tour was the best experience on our 10 day vacation in Iceland (and we loved everything in Iceland)!!!

Fantastic riding trip. My partner and I did the 2hr ride which was just lovely. The horses chosen for us were very sweet and seemed to enjoy the trail ride as much as we did. Our guide was lovely and we enjoyed chatting to her during the ride and the breaks. Would definitely recommend this place :).
