Amazing expirience, dogs are beautiful, the owner is very hospitable and nice. He told us a lot about this breed.We fall in love with those dogs. REALLY Recomend visiting!

Literally one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Maria and Gunner were extremely hospitable and friendly, and talking to them about their huskies was so enjoyable and informative! Their place was so homy. The dogs were such a joy to be around, and each of them had their own distinct personality and quirks. All of them were so cuddly and energetic!

We had a great experience with goHusky tours from start to ending. We were picked up at the cruise port and welcomed into Maria and Gunni's home. Not to mention the 18 huskies that gave us quite the welcome as well. We enjoyed a great hike with a few lucky huskies (rocks are drawn to take a few each day). After we returned from the hike, Maria showed us the sleds as well as hats being knitted from the husky fur-how cool! Such a great experience and day trip. We would recommend it to anyone traveling to the area. Just an awesome experience.

A really nice place to go if you want to enjoy husky's. When went there the snow was gone, but they give our kids a good alternative with training kart. The passion and Love for the dogs is really lovely to see. We hope we can come back 1 day to go sliding in the snow. This is really a place i will recommend if you want to go husky dog sledding.

All these dogs love you! These were super friendly, happy doggies, who love to run. The hosts started with a meet and greet of the dogs, then we got a tour of where the dogs live, showing they are taken care of. Then we each chose a dog for our team, and had a silly race on a closed course. Many of my party wound up with a face full of snow 😊 It is clear this family loves their dogs, and the dogs love them. If you're also a dog lover and are at all curious about dog sledding, I can't recommend this enough. We left super happy about getting to hang with a bunch of friendly pups who love to run, and a human family who's just as friendly and happy. Thanks for letting us into your home! 🐕

Although we did not get to dog sled due to lack of snow, Gunni invited us to do dog petting and it was amazing. Both he and his wife LOVE their dogs and take excellent care of them. The dogs are all sweet and playful. A really great experience and if we ever go back, I would visit again!

We had such a great time. Maria and Gunnar are both such hospitable friendly people. Despite the fact we have never met, it felt like we were spending time with old friends.

The wonderful husky visit with Gunni was an unforgettable experience. Gunni takes such good care of his dogs, and it shows in how gentle, affectionate, and loving they are. The dogs welcomed us with wagging tails and happily let us pet them. What was most surprising was that they never barked, despite being a pack of energetic huskies. We didn't go on the sledding tour, but just spending time with the dogs was enough to convince us that huskies would make wonderful pets. It was clear that these dogs were puppies at heart, no matter their size. If you're a dog lover in the Akureyri area, a visit to Gunni's huskies is a must.

Gunni and his wife were absolutely spectacular and very welcoming. My fiance and I were the only ones there which made it super personal. Gunni and his wife were beyond knowledgeable on huskies and it was nice to hear how they went from owning 1 pup to owning 21 of them! I highly recommend this and even tho I didn't take a sledding tour I know that would be amazing as well! Book this today!

What a wonderful experience this tour was. Highly recommend when you’re in Iceland. It was 6 (including children) of us and we couldn’t stop talking about how awesome this tour was the entire trip. We were on a 10 day cruise aboard the NCL Prima & this tour was not offered by the cruise line. We saw it on Viator & had to pull the trigger for it was way more affordable than anything NCL was offering. Blew a lot of the tours we took on our 2 week adventure completely away. María & Narvi where amazing people & we truly enjoyed the entire experience. Also, you could tell that they really took good care of the dogs. The dogs were really happy, and looked very well taken care of. We stopped on our hike several times to give the pack water 🩵🩶🤍. By far one of my favorite tours that I got to do in Iceland.

WE HAD THE BEST TIME AT GO HUSKY! The owners are so kind and fun to be around. The dogs are gentle and sweet. We loved learning about making hats from dog fur and going on a long walk with some of the huskies too!

Absolutely recommend visiting the dogs at goHusky! Huskys were super friendly and loved the attention and hike we did. Owners are amazing and gave an excellent tour of the yard and their home. Will be back if in Iceland again!

Amazing experience! Definitely one of the highlights of our honeymoon. Gunni and Maria are such a great couple. It is lovely to visit a small business like this one where they really love and care about the dogs. The location is great where you get a nice mix of sea, forest and open wilderness on the husky ride. Having hot chocolate in the house with the dogs afterwards is a beautiful experience as well.
