Incredible experience. A must see on your trip in iceland. The glacier is always changing so there is always new things to see. Our guide, Dario, was amazing and so patient with us. He went at our pace and answered so many questions we had. He knows all about what he is showing you and he was so kind throughout the whole experience. I would hope to have him for a guide again in the future. Also, Ryan who helped coordinate our tour was so kind and did everything he could, going above and beyond, to make this tour possible for us with the personal limitations we had as a group. 10/10 once in a lifetime tour. 10/10 amazing company. We had a fantastic experience with Adam and Ice Pic Journeys doing the ice cave and some of the glacier walk. Adam was a great guide, incredibly knowledgeable about the glacier and surrounding areas. He explained and gave a history of this particular glacier and how it formed a lot of the landscape. He had a great sense of humor and care for the safety of our group. During the hike on the glacier, we got to see some incredibly blue ice in an “ice slot canyon” (my best description). It felt other worldly and very adventurous. The ice cave was also really cool to see. We were lucky enough to go on a sunny day, so even in the dark part of the canyon we were able to see blue ice and the river running under. I wouldn’t hesitate to do another tour with them in the future! Looking forward to seeing the images he captured of us on the journey as well. That makes this tour unique: they take photos of you. We had an amazing experience on the Highlands tour with Alessandro. He customised the tour to our needs and took us to see some features off track that were spectacular. Having him take photos of us on the way was fantastic. The car was smooth and comfortable even on the rough highland tracks. The waterfalls and scenery in the highlands are incredible. So worth the visit if you are in Iceland. Highly recommend Ice Pic Journeys and Alessandro.

Very happy to have added this to my 8-day trip to Iceland. I appreciate that this company offers onsite photography and smaller group tours as it provides more time to enjoy the caves, take pictures, and take in the scenery. Our guide, Adam, was all-around great fun - telling jokes, sharing facts about the area, and taking extra time to ensure we were safe and comfortable throughout the day. Can't recommend this company enough! We went on the ice climbing and ice cave tour and had an amazing time. Trym was our guide and really helped to make the experience for us! This was the highlight of our trip. He took amazing photos and was super personable. Having a private guide and photos to go along with your experience is really some that can't be beat. Best tour experience ever! I booked two multi-day tours with Ice Pic Journeys and loved every second! Ryan and Mike are the best team. They are very professional, skilled, knowledgeable about Iceland and fun to be with. They were private tours, which were organized and customized just for me. The pictures are mind blowing and included in the guiding tours which is amazing. They know the best spots, the best times and the best poses. I liked it so much I went back 6 months later. Best tour experience and mind blowing photos. We did our ice cave exploration with Mike. He was very friendly, very good company and very knowledgable about Iceland. He was also very considerate of our 7 year old little one who wanted multiple stops on the way. The tour was a very private experience as it was just our family. We also went deep inside the cave where it was very dark and we were the only ones there. We found other tour operators on our way back which seemed very crowded. The best part of choosing Ice Pic Journey is of course the mind blowing photos that they send tags and send you. It’s pure magical. The best souvenir for a trip that you will never forget! Highly recommend them.

Definite will recommend this tour! This is the only tour that provide photography, so you bring the greatest gift from Iceland as memory home! It was Christmas Eve morning, our car was stuck in snow awaiting for rescue. We are going to be late for the Glacier Hike + Ice Cave Adventure. When Mike called us, we will be late for 30min at least! (key learning is, stay near to the Glacier tour!! You never know what is the challenges awaiting for you!) We are really grateful that the other family from Taiwan (Raymond & his family) are happy to wait for us despite they were there 15 min before the tour start. Ice Pic Journeys is a profesional and certified company that can take you on some of the most amazing adventures in Iceland. I had the most thrilling experience zip lining on a glacier and exploring ice caves. If you like adrenaline I super recommend the glacier zip line 10/10.

Helen and I spent our honeymoon in Iceland recently and we could easily say it was one of the best trips we have ever been on. Ice Pic Journey did such an amazing private glacier hiking tour, that we ended up buying another tour from them later that week. Their tour guides are fun, funny, and knowledgeable. One of the best parts about their tours is that they take some really neat photos that you can have for a lifetime! Highly recommend using them.

We booked the gaclier + ice cave photoshoot adventure (5h) on the 17th of October. We absolutely loved it. Going into an ice cave has been a 'travel dream' of mine for years and I'm so glad we chose to do it with Ice Pic Journeys for many reasons. First of all, their departure time differed from that of a lot of other tour operators. Therefore we had quite some time to enjoy the ice cave by ourselves (about 30 - 40 min) before other big groups arrived. Second, although we chose the group tour, we were lucky only one other person was in our group. It actually felt more like a private tour than a group tour. (Of course, I'm aware this might have een exceptional.) Third, with this excursion you don't only go into the blue ice cave but you also do a hike on the glacier and go into an ice crevasse. As there is some daylight there you see the colours and ice formations even better than in the ice cave. I consider it definitely to be an added value to the ice cave and gletjser experience. Lastly, this company takes professional pictures of you inside the cave and crevasse, giving you some beautiful and high quality souvenirs.

There was a wonderful experience about the glacier and ice cave trip. Mike planned a route that was safe, easy and can take the fantastic photo.
