Our experience was amazing! I highly recommended Star Car Rental. We did the booking via Northbound website and the process was quick and easy. We arrived early and the woman picked up us and took us with the previous group to the company meeting point. Everything was ready and the Check-in was quite straightforward. They did recommend us to take sleeping bags and we really appreciated the tip. You do need them in Iceland. The sleeping bags and all the equipment was high quality. We rented a Renault Express which came with everything you need for your road trip: heating system, gas stove (and an extra one was in case), water tank and all the camping equipment (even kitchen roll paper). There is nothing bad I can say! Everything was perfect! Thanks for making everything so easy and keeping very competitive prices! The check-out was as straightforward as the check-in. The guy checked the tank was full and took us to the airport (we had rented the van with full insurance which we also recommend)

We just returned from an epic holiday in Iceland. We rented the little camper van and were totally impressed with it and the service that went along with it. The camper was very clean, super good on fuel, allowed us to explore the entire country in a cozy dry space. The price was affordable and we got exactly what we were expecting. Very nice to deal with a small family run business who take pride in providing a wonderful personal experience. Than You for allowing us to enjoy your country!... two small suggestions if I may.... maybe consider adding 2 coffee mugs and a sharp knife to the container of dishes and cutlery. We had a great experience with Star Car Rental. They had a driver waiting to pick us up at the airport when we arrived, picking up the car and returning it was very quick and easy. The Dacia Duster camper we rented handled everything we needed it to without problems and it was very comfortable and so were the sleeping bags we added to the rental.

A great experience overall! Booking was quick and easy, and getting the car when arriving in Iceland was even easier. We got picked up at the airport and we got a short ride to the Star Car rental place, I signed some documents and off we went on our Iceland trip with our tiny but awesome Suzuki Jimny. The car was an older model but clearly well kept and in great condition, it served us well and I kinda miss it already. At the end of our trip, we simply brought the car back to the rental place, handed over the keys and got driven to our hotel where we were staying for the night before our flight in the morning, quick and easy! We rented a Renault Express for 10 days. Great car, fuel efficient averaging at 4.7L/100km. Cleaned perfectly when we picked it up it looked new. The service was also great! The team is super helpful and accommodating! I will definitely recommend this company to anyone planning to visit Iceland! Thank you.

It was a great experience overall. The service was excellent. Although we encountered a couple of minor issues with the car (a momentary stall in second gear and a small rubber part peeling off), the Dacia Dokker performed admirably and we were very satisfied with its features and the overall service. I would definitely recommend this company.

We had a wonderful experience renting from this company. The pickup and shuttle from the airport was prompt and easy - as was the process of arranging for the vehicle. We were provided just what we expected along with helpful tips and information. We had an 8 day rental and it went quite well until the next to last day when the car we rented died.
