A lot of love goes into this coffee shop, and it shows. The owner's love for every aspect of coffee is reflected here. The downstairs sitting area is cozy and the shopkeeper was extremely friendly. The coffee roast they serve is different from most in Iceland, kind of nutty and a very unique flavor. Definitely worth a visit.

Delicious coffee from freshly roasted Colombian beans. My mom got one of the pastry/buns and said it was very good. We enjoyed talking with the owner and such an unexpected experience learning about coffee beans. Definitely worth stopping by!

Seems to be very trendy place with cosy tables and very delicious coffee. If you are very tall, could be difficult to move across stairs and in the basement where most of the tables are located. Coffee was really good, but too pricey. You don’t have any pastries or sandwiches, just some again overpriced chocolate bars. That’s why 4 stars. Free parking on premises.

Valeria is a beautiful coffee shop that you can't miss while driving through Grundarfjörður. Its spacious basement is a charming place to relax and enjoy some top notch espresso drinks made from their own roasted beans. The coffee bar is surrounded by informational material dedicated to all things about the production and treatment of coffee, including a living coffee plant! You can really see the passion that has been put into this warm little coffee house.

The best coffee in all of Iceland. The owners are super kind. Seating in the basement. I recommend stopping and supporting this local business. Such a gem. I had the greats espresso here.

I highly recommend Valeria Specialty Coffee, the atmosphere in this beautiful, cozy coffeehouse is outstanding. Without a hesitation, if you find your self on Snæfellsnes - take some time to try the delusions coffee at Valeria (and see Kirkjufell and beautiful Grundarfjörður). Marta and Jan are the kindest, most welcoming owners I know. They took time to chat with the guests and made one of the best espresso I have tasted (yes I’ve been to Italy). The people I traveled with tried frapuccino, cold brew and cappuccino - all very satisfied with their chose. They roast the coffee themselves, which makes the coffee even more unique. And if you are curious about the progress, they are more than willing to inform you and tell you all about the ‘from farmer to cup’ progress.

The very nice owner is from Colombia, the coffee is from local Colombian farmers and is roasted here in Iceland. The coffee is magnificent, the atmosphere very welcoming and the staff absolutely lovely. Try the mocha and the granola cookies.

What a gem! I'm so glad I stopped in here. The coffee was amazing and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. I really appreciated all of the coffee information and art on the walls. All of the brewing methods explained was a really nice touch as well. I highly recommend all coffee enthusiasts to visit!

👍👍 Latte and tea 🍵 were served nice and hot. We shared a slice of carrot 🥕 cake, and it was deliciously moist. So tasty! A great visit to Graena in Grundafjord.
