Breathtaking place in a middle of a nowhere, right next to the ocean. We had the smallest room and shared bathroom with one other room, but everything was clean and cozy. The views are absolutely amazing and it's a good starting point if you're visiting the northwest of Iceland. Definitely recommend

Everything was beyond exceptional. The rooms were tidy, clean and very comfortable. The host (Hubert) and hostess (Caroline) are amazing people. The food made by them was very satisfying. The salads were from their greenhouse. The location is very beautiful. We got to see the northern lights from our bedroom windows. I would love to come here again. Absolutely amazing experience. Thank you very much!!!!

The hosts were exceptionally helpful, well beyond what I expected. My wife and I arrived fairly late (8:30 pm), and we found that the bathroom was too difficult to access, given her mobility issues. I had reserved a room with shared bath, but had not considered that the toilet would require several stairs. The host sent us to a nearby hotel that had an easier toilet access, without any extra charge. We were very grateful for this. The facility looked very nice with a superb scenic view.

I do not have enough words to describe how much we loved our stay at Guesthouse Nyp. The house is located in a beautiful isolated setting, with mountains in the back overlooking the ocean. Marked trails lead to the ocean, to a river, and up the mountain. Rooms are gorgeous with minimalist design. Beds are comfy with oversized individual comforters. Treat yourself and plan to have dinner and breakfast - which you need to order in advance of your stay - that is generously and lovingly prepared by the hosts. So far, the best meals of our Iceland trip. We will recommend this guesthouse to everyone we know as a must stay in their next trip to Iceland.

Stylish and thoughtfully designed, staying at Nyp was a very nice experience. We enjoyed the scenery, the food, the intimate atmosphere.

Very rustic and quaint. Was a very cozy spot to slow down, take in the views, and read a book. Host was very friendly :)

hidden gem in westfjord. one of the most beautiful guesthouses we stayed, super nice architecture combined with art & secondhand interior. we felt immediately at home and looking forward to stay longer / it is the ideal place to calm down & disconnect. big thanks to marta.
