Couldn’t recommend visiting here more! Absolutely love all the animals and being able to interact with them. Staff is beyond friendly and welcoming as soon as you get there. Be prepared to get some dirt on you as the sweet pups running around also like to say hi. Thank you so much for sharing your farm, it was such a nice break stop while driving around Iceland.

We stopped here near the end of our ring road trip and after seeing so many of the wild animals (sheep, horse) we were dying to see a lot of them closer. You could tell Holar farm really cared about their animals and took great care of them. The tour guide (a young boy) did a great job taking us around to all the different animals (and we were able to pet them all too!) and told us cute stories about them. It was a really amazing experience. You can expect sheep, horses, chickens, turkeys, rabbits, guinea pigs, dogs, cats, goats, a pig, and even a beautiful raven. All of them were super friendly and not at all scary to pet.

This is one of the most memorable experience for us. After driving for a week around the ring road, we naturally want to meet some of the wild animals here. The owners were wonderful group of people that we met. I would recommend to anyone who cares to find something unique and rewarding to experience.

It was an absolutely fantastic experience to see all the animals. Rebecca (the owner) is the sweetest person! We got an hour long tour with Rebecca. She showed us tricks with the goat, we feed the lambs and had a chicken on my atm. I really recommended visiting this place. It's a really good family place 😍

Ahhhh!! It was just the best. Not only was the family and staff so nice, we came right when it opened for the season. I most definitely recommend coming in June too - the baby sheeps and goats were TOO cute and adorable 🥹❤️ We spent around 2 hours here haha just soaking in the love from the dogs and the baby goats following us. There were horses, sheep, goats, a cat, a parrot, dogs, Guinea pigs, pigeons, chickens, ducks, turkeys, and an adorable famous crow.

Best experience in Iceland, me and my friends went here and the owners are so kind and amazing. The animals are all loving and gentle, and really cool to see in person :) I would highly recommend making the trip to come here!!

Beautiful animal sanctuary in Icelandic countryside! We got a tour from a really nice volunteer and then could spend as much time as we wanted with the animals. They included goats, horses, rabbits, Guinea pigs, dogs, birds and chicken. We also got to meet the owner, Rebecca, a real force of nature! Really wholesome experience. 10/10 would recommend.

A place that you definitely have to go! All the animals are very friendly (We never taught that in our life we had the chance to pet a raven!!) and Rebecca is a very lovely, amazing and she really loves all the animals and know their background! You really need to go! You’ll fall in love with all the animals and with Rebecca!

So many cute dogs and and animals. We saw the talking raven and heard him speak it was really cute. Rebekka was super lovely and let us pet the animals and feed the birds.

What a magical place! My husband and I stopped at the farm on our road trip and we were so warmly welcomed in by the owner, Rebecca, and her husband. This is an animal sanctuary and a must-see for all animal lovers! Rebecca is the loveliest woman you will meet and has created such a wonderful home for her animals, many of which came to her wounded or no longer wanted by their owners. We had such a wonderful time and highly recommend it to anyone who has been dying to meet the gorgeous horses and sheep of Iceland in a kind way! Please respect their hours of operation! Absolutely great. Rebecca and her family are great people with an endless love for their animals. This might be a ‘normal’ farm however the tour is anything but normal- we had a great day with a lot af laughter and fun. I really recommend visiting them💛
