This is the best restaurant we have ate in Iceland. We travelled for 10 days and ate at different locations. By far, this is the most authentic local cuisine that we have tried. Everything is done very proper and amazing. You definitely haven’t eat local food if you haven’t try this restaurant! They opened from 11:50-3pm only. They have only 2 choices for today which is beef and ling. We picked ling that come with what show in the photos! The most amazing authentic local restaurant that I have ever tried in Iceland!!!!! Words can’t expressed how amazing this place is and we were in shock. Hidden gem! Too bad this is my last day here! Otherwise I will come everyday! Owners are super kind and sweet. I just love it. I recommend to come early or you won’t even find parking haha. It’s that popular amongst local!

Great local find. Awesome and kind owners. Everything was well prepared and presented. I don’t recall the last time I left a restaurant genuinely happy and satisfied with the food, the service and the value provided. Highly recommend this place. Definitely will go back next time I’m in town.

Cute little cafeteria-style meal: it was super quick and great service. Every dish we got was incredible. The sausage, meatballs, fish, and even salads were all so good, it was the best meal we had throughout our whole trip in Iceland.

We had a very nice lunch here. Very delicious local food, fresh taste full. We are very satisfied with the service. They are very nice, many local people come here for lunch. Strongly recommended.

Cafeteria style - you get your tray and select your sides and main course (there are two options for the main course). I'm not sure what the name is of what I got but it was basically a pork cutlet with butter sauce and onion sauce on top. Everything was delicious including the soup, salad, peas, and of course the main course. Also, they were extremely kind to us even though we were not the most efficient orderers since it was our first time. Don't let the cafeteria style fool you, theu serve delicious and hearty food with a smile. One of our best meals in Iceland.

My father invited me here where he has lunch very often with his construction friends. Very good prices for a full meal (around 2500 isk) where you can add your own vegetables and fruits. Food just like you would get at any home in Iceland. Pretty nice. Did not have a vegetarian/vegan dish when we went there, but they have a new menu each day.

Very nice restaurant not far from centre of Reykjavik. Dined in with my bf. Food was fresh and very tasty. I enjoyed a lot. Chef was very nice and polite, there is a big parking outside so you can park without any issues.
