    I recently had a highly disappointing experience at Mapusa Residency, and I feel compelled to share my thoughts to warn others. To put it simply, the rooms were third class and far from satisfactory. Upon entering the room, I immediately noticed that the fan was not functioning properly. The air circulation was inadequate, leaving the room feeling stuffy and uncomfortable. Despite attempting to adjust the fan settings. This made it extremely difficult to relax or even sit comfortably. Moreover, the bathroom was in an appalling condition. The stench was overpowering, and it was evident that the maintenance and cleanliness standards were lacking. This unpleasant odor made it unbearable to spend any time in the bathroom, let alone use its facilities. To make matters worse, my experience with the hotel staff was equally disappointing. I had booked my stay through MakeMyTrip (MMT) and, unfortunately, my dissatisfaction with the hotel led me to check out within five minutes of checking in. I immediately contacted MMT to request a cancellation and refund through the MMT platform, but my efforts were in vain. The manager of Mapusa Residency proved to be non-responsive and unhelpful, leaving me feeling frustrated and cheated. As a customer, I believe it is essential to receive the service and quality promised during a hotel stay. Mapusa Residency failed to meet even the most basic expectations, from the malfunctioning fan and stinky bathroom to the unresponsiveness of the manager. I strongly advise potential guests to reconsider their choice of accommodation and explore alternatives in the area. Overall, my experience at Mapusa Residency was extremely disappointing, and I regret the decision to stay there. The subpar room conditions, combined with the lack of responsiveness from the management, made it a truly unpleasant stay. I hope that this review serves as a cautionary tale for others, encouraging them to seek better options when visiting the area.

    It's a Hotel that is managed by Goa Tourism. Rooms are big, clean white bed sheets, water heater installed in bathroom. There is no restaurant (since COVID). Hence you may not get even tea, breakfast, lunch or dinner options here, and may have to go out. There are water coolers installed, that give you cold water 24x7. I had gone via Kolhapur, by Bus, and reached early morning (@5 am), however booking was from 12 noon. First they refused to give a room without extra charges, but later they accomodated around by 6.30 am. It's in a walking distance from the Mapusa bus stand.

    This is one of the tricky hotels to rate. The location is great(depends on the things on your bucket list) Rooms are okayish but does not have mini fridge in it and lacks in hotel restaurant Service is okayish again as they dont have anything to serve other than room cleaning We booked it because we were getting it for free, but i hope you found this review helpful

    A basic 3 star hotel right by the Mapusa bus stand. They have spacious rooms, water cooler, non AC rooms and do not provide toiletries other than soap and toilet roll. Was a decent stay.

    Rooms are pretty good if you need a quick place to crash near Mapusa bus depot, Service is also average, Rooms were clean. No food service available so you would have to eat outside. Rates are also reasonable.

    The hotel doesn't have a restaurant or room service. Its mosquito ridden. The Goa Travellers Cafe is a small pathetic outlet in the same building that opens late for limited breakfast, they serve snacks including quality cakes from MarcBrown, the rest is pathetic with unqualified illiterate staff

    Horrible receptionist who doesn't know how to talk to customer..very rude .not recommended at all ... Room does not hot water ..no lift... Not very clean ... N can get better room for the same or lesser price

    This is situated bang opposite mapusa bus stand well situated with all necessary shops all around it. My TV was not working but the staff were prompt & changed the tv

    It is the most horrible place to spend your vacation. They have no sense of hospitality. The rooms and the entire hotel are not being kept as per the name and quality of service that it had once upon a time.

    Worst hotel i have ever visited ...no proper service & no prior information will be provided regarding checkin & checkout timing. Receptionist behaviour is bit rude.

    No sense of respect and hospitality towards customers, very unhygienic washroom without a door, not recommended at all. Even if they renovate, the staff/owner needs to be changed.

    So its not about Mapusa Residency as there are already bad reviews about this hotel Its about Scooty renter adjacent to this hotel They are pure fraud donโ€™t take scooty from this rental he is the guy who lives on scamming tourists . Such a disgrace being a goans this guy he owns this cashew shop just adjacent to this Mapusa Residency Took extra money just because my friend didnโ€™t make video Tried scamming me but i was cautious as i already made video

    For meals we had to go to Satyaheera. Had it been at Residency itself, it would have been much better. That is what we were missing.
