A perfect example of a rain forest. Must visit during the rains. Tip: be careful it is slippery in the rains, wear trekking shoes and be silent fo listen to the bird songs. Go towards the evening on a monsoon day.

Very well maintained then before, Bird sanctuary kind feeling... Enjoy the garden seating area and be at peace with nature.. Read about history, watch the model of Fort. Relax and maintain low voice.. do not litter the place. Enjoy the fort area, best time to watch early morning...,

My college was in Miraj have regular be used to visit this place with my friends and my girlfriend. I must say this is one of the most beautiful places in western Maharashtra. Views from this place is really fantastic, one should really visit this place at least once in their lifetime. There are many things to see here, one is the fort, another one is the with udyan or Garden this place should be visited in monsoon. I will highly recommend this place. Very beautiful and peaceful place to watch Birds and various types of Trees. You can see the beautiful horizontal view of Varna village At this garden, there is a nameplate on trees with their local and scientific name. There are also information posters of Birds which are found in this garden. The staff of garden is very helpful they are very informative. The toilet is also very clean Visit this place in the early morning if you want to enjoy clear chirp of birds.

Best maintained close to it's natural habitat.. birds chirping... monkies jumping from tree to tree and various spiders...

Nice garden and well maintained. 5rs Entry ticket for adults and 2rs for kids. So much greenery, trees, flowers. Clean place, you have to climb and down so many steps to reach here but it worthy.

Nice and cool place on Panhala Fort. Entry to this place is Rs.5 per person. There is a small miniature of Panhala fort at entrance, which shows the various important places on the fort. This place can be visited first so that you can get idea of what all places are to be seen on the fort looking at the minature present here.

When you visit Panhala, this place should not be missed... filled with lots of birds and variety of trees... always feel calm and peaceful. Also visit Kakashree Misal opposite to Tabak Udyan.

I think this is the best location to visit in Panhala. Very calm and serene. Full of birds and small critters. Hidden pathways and ledges in every corner. Small shop at the centre, if you're thirsty or hungry. Closes early (around 6 in the evening), so make sure to reach early.

Beautiful garden in Panhala. Can hear a variety of bird calls throughout the day. Has morning walk trails and children's park also. The garden is on a slope so you will be on an incline

Nice climate good for hanging out lots of food option lots of fun but on holidays too much rush otherwise too much fun. For Nature lovers. A small double decker bus ride is awesome which is called London Bus

Garden is very beautiful,serene.... infact happy that its been kept and maintained well now like our childhood days, hope its preserved well .... just one complaint that toilet facility is not good nor clean..clean toilets is must as people come from far way ...if its fixed it will add the remaining star... rest is awesome

Worth to visit with your family, friends, children and for couple as well. Peaceful environment. Filled with lot of huge trees. Various kinds of birds are available. This garden has sunset point at the end so if you visit in the evening, you can enjoy beautiful view of sunset

One of the good zoological park i have ever seen. Well maintained, clean. You can get bicycles and battery operated car. Charges are reasonable. I liked most is tiger zone. Must visit. Outside park there is small food counters and amusement rides.Rajiv Gandhi Zoological Park located in Katraj. The park covers a large area and provide ample space to every animal they possess. Also the animals are well fed and people are able to view them except their sleeping hours. It is especially good for the kids as they get to see number of animals which they cannot see otherwise. The campus is covered by huge trees and has shade for most of the day. The snake park has a number of snakes as well as other reptiles, it had pythons as well as the cobras. Lastly just want to say that it's a nice, serene place which can make up for a good weekend spot.

The udyan is very beautiful. If you want to experience peace, this is the right place to be. The best time to visit is morning and late afternoon. You should be a little bit cautious too because even though the place is very safe but a lot of mokeys are there and they may scare you.
