Outdated rooms, brekfast was okeyish, dinner was third class. They serve 2 pieces per person as starter only once. These guys won't let u eat peacefully.

Stay was good. Rooms were and neat clean. Ambience and atmosphere of resort was cool, the lawn, play area and swimming pool was well maintained. Best part it's so close to town & market area , walkable distance. Staffs are friendly. Amenities in room are less, like soap, shampoo or shower gel etc they need to add more. Rest overall wonderful stay

I don’t know why it is overrated in ratings. One of the low maintenance property at the price they are charging. There’s no proper tv or even Wi-Fi or a nice bed. They are charging high for substandard quality. The entire hotel staff is rude as if they are doing favour letting us stay. A huge let down. Would never recommend this hotel.

Overall had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. It is best for families. Hotel surroundings are beautiful with a nice lawn. Restaurant inside the hotel is great too with delicious food, each and every item we ordered was upto the mark, buffet spread is great too. Only negative thing I found is the rooms. They definitely need an upgrade. Bed mattress should be soft which is a basic necessity in a room whereas the mattress was hard here. Overall rooms look old and need refurnishing. But otherwise had a very nice stay in Malas. Will surely visit again.

I usually do not write reviews especially for bad hospitality but this is the most ridiculous place to stay. Most of the reviews are from owners friends, relatives or locals who know the owners. I’m sitting on commode and water is gone all of sudden when asked they say it will take 15 minutes. It’s literally cheap management, unbelievable that how can they switch off water without informing and they don’t even bother to give 5 mins heads-up and despite multiple request just give 5 mins of water they say no with stupid reasons. Food is below average, rooms are average they just paint old things to make it look new. Glasses are unclean. The only thing good is the open lawn field amongst the trees and it’s good because of Panchgani nature not coz of hotel. I wonder how it’s mentioned 3 star. They don’t even allow you to have tea at 10:30 AM they just tell you move out. All rooms and I mean all rooms feel like staying in a chawl - you can literally hear what the other rooms guest are doing - you can actually hear their sneeze as well. Overalls all reviews ratings are managed or not for even middle class families it’s for folks who just need roof over head and water, electricity (well that too is not 24hrs) and want to be out entire day. I would strongly warn any family please not a place for family.

We visited the place 2 days back, the rooms are very old, not maintained. Didn't really feel anything different from home. Could not get the hotel feel at all. No refrigerator in the room. We had taken package with meals included, the food was decent. The service was average and staff was friendly. Only the lawn is good. Overall it's is okay. There is alot of scope of improvement.

Excellent Staff and Service. Great food. Staff and Chef Santosh take extra effort to make the stay and food experience delightful. Bathrooms and Rooms are in need of renovation, however they are clean and neat. Property also has added new rooms which seem to have a modern touch.

PROS: -Good Atmosphere, Greenery & Well Maintained Garden -Small but Nice Swimming Pool with Shower & Changing Rooms -Sufficient Parking Space CONS: -Basic Rooms & unhygienic washrooms -Rude Behaviour of Hotel Staff (Mostly Receptionist) -No complimentary Water Bottles -High food rates at cafe -Only 1 charging slot available in the room -Requested early checkout but the receptionist was not available on time -Limited options available in Buffet as compared to prices. Overall: -Waste of time and money

Rooms are good. Though old but clean. Air conditioning is not required. In my opinion premium and non-ac rooms have the best layouts.

Rooms are neat and clean. Housekeeping is excellent. The bathrooms are in need of renovation. They should install geysers in all bathrooms. Most rooms do not have hot water throughout the day which is major hindrance in cold climate

The place seems to be a complete run down. I didn’t stay here but wasn’t even tempted to stay when I went there to check out the place. The rooms are around 2K per night. The games room was not operational. The Instagram famous food thal is made to order (1 day prior) for ₹999 per person and has a MOQ for 8 people.

Wifi was not working, reception said work in progress, room cleaning is poor, we found litter behind sofa bed. TV remote not working. I saw lot of positive reviews for restaurants but its average, very few breakfast options for veg. I think resort owner lives their he was trying to improve customer experience.

Overall. I'd say it's a Beautiful place as I've been going there since the 70's. Albeit a lot of construction has taken place with premium room's & Duplex room's etc. But the simplicity and Beauty what was No longer is. The charm of Malas is only the food which was @ that point in time made by the Lady of the house. Now you still will get Good food but made by cook's nonetheless delicious. 😋

The hotel is located about a kilometere from table land in panchgani. The rooms are clean and have basic amenities like hot water, blankets etc. There is also a lot of open area for parking and there are swings and a hammock to chill. The place has a restaurant with Indian dishes and a cafe which has snacks and Italian dishes. The breakfast here is tasty. The lunch buffet also is decent for the price especially for non vegetarian dishes.

One of the finest hotel to stay in Panchgani. They have different types of room. Ideal for families and couples. The in-house restaurant and cafe serves delicious food. The place is very clean and maintained. There is lawn and kids playground. Its a very good destination for events and ceremonies.

Location is good. Walkable from market. Ambience is good. Good thing is property have ample amount of open space where you can chill out with friends and family. This is very old property few builds were built before independence. There are few new villa type rooms were constructed with good facilities. The cafeteria is open 24/7 which gives a plus point mainly for bachelors or couples to hangout whole night. Swimming pool is there. Have decent wooden cafe and dining hall. Finally you can shortlist this place without any fear of service and safety. Last but not least this property is gated so it is good in terms of safety. Airtel coverage is too bad comes and goes. I guess BSNL and Jio works better.

Located near Panchgani market and Table land. Good size property, with ample space for parking, quite a big maintained lawn area and kids playing area as well. Rooms are big, a little old but maintained. Staff is well behaved. Tarrifs are not high.

The hotel room was quite suffocating as there was no windows. Also the the interior was quite old. Room cleaning was not done daily morning. Rates taken for 3 nights were very high as compared to facilities provided. Food served was also tasteless. Actually disappointed totally.. Only good thing was it was having garden for kids to play..

Was here for a trip with my girl gang. It is a old hotel undergoing construction of new rooms. The recently constructed rooms are very good. Nice garden in the center of hotel and backyard. The breakfast was good with variety of options. Enjoyed our stay here.

Hotel Malas never disappoints. Superb location, excellent food, good service, and reasonably priced. All the staff is extremely polite and helpful. Excellent place for a short or long getaway from the city.

My visit to this place was for dinner. Here is what I liked about the place 1. Parking is available which was a big relief considering the location 2. Food quality was good and prices were reasonable 3. Service was good 4. There were games available for kids to enjoy. Helped us while waiting for the food Only disappointing part was food choices. Due to limited guests, their Tandoor was not on and hence many options were not available. Similarly the options in Buffet for dinner or even for breakfast were very limited. Property seems to be good for stay as well although can't comment as I didn't have that experience.

This resort is located near panchgani city. A good place for family for stay. Rooms are good, service was decent. Breakfast/snack food is good but it's costly.

  • 4/5 Aparna P S. 1 year ago on Google
Nothing too luxurious, but for people who love simple, homely, vintage kind of places may like this hotel. It's fun to walk around the hotel premises. They have a park with swings and all. Maintenance can be improved. Food is costly but not tasty. The ambience of the cafe is great. The road leading to this hotel is narrow and we had to wait for around 20 minutes to cross the junction as there was traffic jam. Driving in these areas can be a bit tricky.

Nice place in walkable distance to the table land. Great food, especially non-veg and mutton in specific. Nice garden with swings, a hammock and an adjacent 24 hr coffee shop and game room. Games are decent (table tennis, foos ball, carrom). Coffee shop snacks are great. If you are looking to spend some off time by just sit, talk, eat, laugh, especially with good company of family and/or friends, this is an ideal place. The rooms also was great and the one I got was a two room duplex with attached bath on both floors. We had two families stayed here and loved it.

They are very good in service, we stay at normal deluxe room which were reasonable. Restaurant here serve very good Food, staff are very humble and polite. Head Chef take review of food served to customer. Also explain each and every thing about the dishes served. Garden is very good behind the resort where children can play safely and adult can spent time. There is no BAR in restaurant so can carry your stuff and enjoy the same in your room. Must visit once.

Beautiful property nestled in the interiors of Panchgani but at the same time just 10 minute walk from the main market. Resort caters to all kind of families as multiple cateogories of rooms are available with bigger or smaller rooms. I stayed in the recently renovated premium rooms which had all modern amenities including alexa, home theatre and smart tv. Food is fabulous, buffet available for all three meals and can be chosen as per stay package or paid upfront. Even 24hrs cafe has good scrumptious choices. Would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful stay. July first week offered fantastic weather and even just walking around the property area is fun.
