Actually we visited UDUPI RESTAURANT, situated at Sangli Phata. Basic hotel with great tea. Friendly staff and modrate rates. Washroom are lousy.

This place is near Pune Bangalore Highway and this fork is for turning towards Kolhapur. This is an accidental area so drive slowly.

In Afternoon there is no traffic ! But just be careful when its a Sunday there Is no even space for stand that much of traffic occurs! Last time I'm going back from shree mahalakshmi tample I narrowly escaped a four wheeler accident so take care of yourself and others when driving on the trail

It is road diversion on NH 48. Vehicles coming from Kolhapur turn right to go towards Sangli and goes straight to Pune. Alway traffic jam occurs to this spot because of one way overbridge. Need of 2 way overbridge to avoid traffic jam.

Can take stops for tea/snack. Easy to reach Ichalkaranji, Sangli/Miraj from NH4 highway.

Best stop if you are planing to go to Sangli Ichalkaranji karad or pune by public transport without entering into kolhapur City... Best spot for snaking.. Only problem is there are no Latrines But you will get best tea vadapao Idli at night Omlet bread.

Its a chowk or diversion to take sangli road from NH4 (AH-48) before Kolhapur.there is over bridge at chowk .....when you are going from Satara to Kolhapur you need to take left at service road before start bridge but when you came from Kolhapur, there is take direct right from highway...

this is not tourist place but a it connects to Puna Bangalore highway from Sangli, and u will get good food at some hotels here around

It's a central place on NH4 Highway near kolhapur. From here you will get way for Kolhapur, Ratnagiri, Sangli and Bangalore . Here you'll also have some Hotels, Restaurants with delicious Vadapav, Kolhapuri Misal , Bhaji etc.

Too much crowdy place during duty hours....Dusty road with too much pot holes on it. No proper signals on junction point. Rash and reckless driving of all vehicles. Be careful at this point.

If you are coming from pune side from this Highway and you want to go Shiroli, Ichalkaranji,etc.first get down here. Then you have to come down by steps situated at exactly your right side. For new person so many times it is getting confusing where to get down. Otherwise you can straight go for Bengaluru road.

Public transport & local transport vehicles are available from Sangli branch to go to jaysingpur ichalkranji narsoba vadi and kolhapur belgav islampur karad satara. There are also street food fuel pumps
