It was a little more expensive than my usual breakfast spot but then the meal came 👀big portions and best Chicken fried steak I have had in a long time. Waitress was great and cute. They also have a drive thru if I'm feeling lazy. Can't wait to go back. 👍🏼😋😎 Been back and just as good as last time. ❤ this place😋 Still a great place and yes that's the small blueberry pancake 🤣😋👍🏼Always happy here.😊

We went for breakfast today at the Express Cafe. The restaurant was good size with lots of setting. Also, the restaurant was very clean. The staff are kind and caring. The food was good. I had the pancake combo. The pancake was huge covering the entire plate. We will definitely come back.

Great place for a breakfast like Mom used to make. The service was friendly and the menu read like a place from Texas! Real middle America comfort food. I had (naturally) eggs and biscuit / gravy. My wife had a very good omelet. This is a must on a morning you want that special breakfast!

My wife and I have been eating here for over 15 years now. The food has stayed consistently good with large portions and extremely reasonable pricing. We have yet to have a bad experience here with the food or the service.

Don't really understand the hype behind this place. This was my first time here, I really wanted to like it based off the 5 star reviews, but I'm just not feeling it. The outside appearance looks dated, mostly artificial lighting vs natural light (gives you that school cafeteria type of feel) & somewhat cramped. Being such a small & tight space it gets loud, especially when you have 4 kids running around and randomly screaming behind you... That's not the fault of the restaurant, but I felt like I was sitting at the Seahawks stadium with the whole "12th man" factor. Anyways, the service was friendly, but we had about 3-4 people come up to us, whether it was taking orders for drinks, food, delivering food, and checking back on us. When it was time to ask for the bill I wasn't sure who to stop and ask. The food was pretty good, just lacked a little extra flavor. I'm just being honest, there are better breakfast options in the nearby location. Maybe I'm not impressed as much as the others since I didn't eat here while growing up in the area, or maybe I just need to give this another shot and hope it's not as busy / loud as the last time. Overall, light 3. Definitely not the worst place I've had breakfast, but certainly not the 5 star experience like everyone previously mentioned.

Your typical diner. The food is good but similar to other breakfast places and diners. The service is where this place shines! Our server was great, funny, and very helpful. We went on a Sunday just after lunchtime and it was slightly crowded but we were still able to be seated right away.

If I haven't already I will double down on saying this place is always a true spot that stays on top! They always have a great meal, be it French toast or just eggs to the bacon or the chicken strips and fries! its always a go to for when we are in the area! Staff has a feel good vibe and is always cheerful! Even on a busy morning! So we can't help but enjoy it! Keep it up guys and gals!

First time, but not last. They were serving a crepe special combo, which I ordered. Four star, because I came in and sat at the counter and was ignored for to long. Food was good, prices are fair, coffee is outstanding. I inquired as to the brew, was told it was Farmers medium. Decor is somewhere between 50's & 60's but very clean. Came @ a slow time so plenty of parking.

I've heard of this place over & over and haven't gone in, and decided to give it a try today. It's small, but seems to do a very brisk business in the drive through. There was a wait unless we sat at the counter so we did that... Do not recommend that in the winter because you'll need your coat. The coffee is good, fresh and not bitter. The staff are efficient and pleasant. My Belgian waffle with pecans was excellent. The bacon is perfectly cooked. Apparently they make their own doughnuts daily, too. I really enjoyed it, though prices are a bit steep for smaller items, like the waffle was $11. I'll definitely return though. Worth it.

My sister and I went for breakfast, I ordered the Bacon, egg and hash brown meal, My sister ordered the two French Toast, WOW right away I asked for a to go box so much food. We entered with mask on and then removed them after we received our orders. people were seated with enough distance apart, the waitress was amazing, showing much concern to our orders and safety. I feel that if you are unhappy with the seating yet love the food order take out. I will be going back for breakfast again.

I love this place. It is a local favorite my family and I have been coming for 20 years Here is what I do for fun. I invite a friend for breakfast, I get there early and tell the waiter what ever my Friend orders double it. Yes they will double the already large portion. The look on your friends face is priceless when they bring out all that food. Yes I pay for it and leave a generous tip PS I want to introduce and new favorite of mine found only here that I know of CRUNCHY DEEP FRIED HASH BROWNS They are out of this world Goodwood I have been ordering my hash browns crunchy burnt for 20 years and I never get it. This time I did and I loved them

This was the first time my mom and I had visited this cafe, and it won’t be our last. We ordered a ham and cheese omelette w/ sourdough toast and hash browns to share. The food was outstanding, everything was fresh, the jelly provided was phenomenal. The waitress was friendly, fast, and efficient. Thank you for going the extra mile and splitting the meal in half, and giving us a full order of hash browns. We’ll be back!

Facility - "hole in the wall" cafe but much larger then you think. Many tables and seats as well as a small counter. Menu photos as of May 2023. Coffee approaching my record maximum at $3.29. Staff very plentiful on a Sunday. Wide variety of entrees and prices. No WiFi. They dont seem to have traditional dinner plates - meals are served on platers. Enormous amount of food. Bathrooms on the small side and barely HC accessible.

Pretty unique little place. It was our first time going and we really liked it. 🙂 The food and service were good.

I've been going for 10+ years and I've never had a bad visit. Fantastic food and amazing service. Huge portions and an amazing staff makes this place so perfect. Staff is always happy and they check on you constantly without being pushy. Amazing 1000/10 would recommend!!

Me and my husband split a omelet. It was great food. Perfect. Friendly staff. They were busy but worth the wait. This was one meal split. We got out of there for 25.00 including tip and we both had drinks.

Absolutely amazing food! Great portions and the staff was very attentive and everyone seemed so happy and helpful!! Definitely will go there again the cinnamon roll French toast was amazing. Best place by far I have been to in Idaho!

Great breakfast & lunch cafe! I sat at the counter and ordered a country platter with hash & bacon. Everything was delicious and cooked to exactly how I wanted it! I Also met the manager Jake and he was fantastic! Walking around helping his employees and wiping walls. He must of walked past the counter 30 times in my 45 min visit. I love to see that a kid of his age has his heart into the place. I will be back!

For all the positive reviews we were expecting some home cooked Flavor! Unfortunately our experience wasn’t the best and it was rather bland. From the eggs to the pancakes and my daughter didn’t even touch her French toast after two bites due to the flavor! So needless to say, we won’t be returning. Staff seemed super friendly though!

Seems like a nice place, the waitress took a while coming back to take my order (10 mins or so) but it was a nice atmosphere

Decided to try this place as my friends said it was great. I was very impressed with the food and portions. Everyone that worked there seemed so happy and all helped each other. I figured going there during the week it wouldn’t be busy. But it was and they handled it very well and I will definitely be back

Met a friend for breakfast here. We were served quickly and efficiently. Food was pretty good, especially if you are big on quantity! We were there almost two hours when we are asked to leave because they had a list of people to seat. I had kept an eye on the available tables and at no point was it full. There was no line waiting to get in. Probably won’t come back because of this experience.
