    Quite a large garden selection at this Lowe's, especially in the spring. We ordered something online to pick-up at this location, and it was ready incredibly fast. Picking up was very simple - there's a little room right at the entrance (or you can opt for them to deliver it to your car when you arrive). Hands down 100000x times better than our attempts to do the same thing at Home Depot. Inside, the store is generally well-stocked, but the organization of things can be a little confusing/nonsensical. Use the app where you can to try to find the items you are looking for.

    This location offers a variety of affordable items for your home improvement needs. I really appreciate the staff in the aisle for assisting me with finding items on my check list. At check out the cashier was welcoming and friendly. This store was very clean and offers plenty of parking.

    Great discounts on Christmas items as part of the holiday sale. I picked up Christmas stockings for under $5.00. There were fire pits on clearance as well. I like this location and they generally have the items I’m in need of for repairs or decorations, etc. The staff is very helpful as well.

    I almost gave this entire store two stars, I walked in looking for help.(no help is site!)I found 2 employees who pointed me in the direction but didn’t assist any further , I was looking for a single glass lampshade that was in stock but not on the floor . I searched for someone else to help, the first young man was going on his lunch, so he asked David to help, (see photo attached). David was kind he introduced himself asked what I was looking for, I showed him the item on Lowe’s website.he checked inventory grab the ladder found my lampshade and saved the day. great customer service thank you David!

    As a contractor I find that Lowes over all is not well stock in some areas. It has been my experience that All the stores are the same. For instance their lumber department has low inventory always. Most of the wood they have is terrible. Their tile department again low inventory there is never have the piece I need. The brand in the plumbing department is a low grade in my opinion. But you be the judge. I usually go to HD for these things. Now the tool department has Bosh, Crafman brand. The small tools are almost always in stock. The electrical department is pretty stock as well. Their gardening department is just as stock and divers as HD. Lastly even that they are low staff (very low staff) when I happen to ask a question the employees I ask make an huge effort to help even if at the end they don’t have the item. Hope to have helped.

    Lots of materials here. Check out was fast. However good luck asking for assistance. Lots of associates are walking around but not helping customers. I tracked an employee down for assistance in moving materials from a high shelf to store level in the door section. He called two times for assistance to my aisle but no one came and he advised going to customer service. They called and still no help. Had to track somone down in a different department altogether. Crazy.

    DO NOT ENGAGE THIS LOWE'S FOR ANY PROJECTS. This Lowe's and all of their installers do not value customers and will take you for a ride. Everyone at the store, including department and store managers are non-responsive to emails, calls, questions, and they are never in the store. Placed an order for a door in July 2021, installers kept on missing appointments, once they did, Lowe's wouldn't follow up on the measurements and then failed to order the door. You have to call every day or they won't do what you paid them to do. Once the door was finally ordered and installed, it was defective and falling apart. Have had to call corporate Lowe's and get a whole bunch of additional parties involved because no one at this store cares or is helpful in the slightest. Will never return here for anything. You are better off paying more somewhere else and saving yourself the headache. Their deals aren't worth it.

    When I went to the business company phone line checkout in the back of the store. There were some ghetto and rude workers. I wanted to buy some construction trash bags for my handyman business. One of my workers was using the card so I went to the phone line and the woman was so rude and nasty. I was able to get the order complete but for 20 minutes no one wanted to help me even though I had one of my workers on the phone to give the number. It was the same information and my name was on the card and I had my ID in hand. I get their protocol but you don’t have to be rude and nasty and have an attitude. You’re there to serve me the customer if you don’t like your job, then don’t work and be broke. It was a couple of them who were standing around being lazy and did not want to help me when I brought this company thousands of dollars every month with my construction business. I get better service at Home Depot.

    I'm 7-days into trying to get my same-day delivery order fulfilled... The store is unresponsive, and the central customer care number will only tell you to contact the store. If you're counting on things to be delivered in a timely manner, I wouldn't order from this store.

    Would love to rate cero stars!!! My encounter with Lowe's has been incredibly exasperating! I bought materials for a project through their online platform and received confirmation that my order was ready for pickup. However, after waiting for a whole hour during curbside pickup, the agent finally arrived only to inform me that the items were actually out of stock. The alternative they suggested was to obtain the materials from the Lowe's branch in Waldorf. This ordeal ended up consuming a total of 3 hours due to the round-trip drive to Waldorf, not to mention the time spent at the store while they searched for the items. Needless to say, I have no intention of making any future purchases from this company.

    I purchased a garage disposal for Mom on Mother’s Day. I requested that Lowe’s do the installation! But after listing my project online installation no one has contacted me. I have called constantly. Spoke with a couple people in the appliance department. Mom is older so I want to make sure she’s safe because I’m 5 hours away. I have spent hours just waiting to speak to an associate and of course, I came back to return the product and go to HOME DEPOT. If they can’t take care of a small appliance, they can’t coordinate a HVAC System or something larger!! I’m done!

    I'm so disappointed in the lack of customer service at Lowe's! They are consistently understaffed and lackluster! I placed an online order with free assembly at 9:30 am. It is currently 4:58 pm and my order still isn't ready nor assembled. When I approached the manager with my order number she had to radio assistance several times! When they arrived the product wasn't even assembled and the excuse was they everyone from that department called out! When I asked for her manager, she pointed to a wall with his name and phone number. Once she saw that I was serious about making a complaint, she then asked an associate to assemble my order! Down right ridiculous! Never again! What's the use of placing an order online & don't offer services if you can't do them!

    I appreciate this location. Could be cleaner and more friendlier. Employees are dry in their demeanor. So uncaring. Good thing I already knew where to go since the reset... I'm still a fan!!

    Superb staff & the people service was excellent! Keep up the good work! My pre-order took a little more time & attention to fulfill, as my items were bundled high up on a pallete on the very top shelf. After Forklift & Safety procedures were put in place, I got my much needed items. Nobody got hurt. I was a happy customer. It was a good day. Thanks guys!

    I'm updating this review to reflect that the help I did eventually get was good, and I received an apology acknowledging that I was unreasonably instructed to wait several times when there was no one coming to meet me. Below is that experience. Total time from asking for help until getting help: one hour two minutes... I've been to the store four or five dozen times; this is the most convenient box store for me to visit. I'm leaving a review today because I walked in and three different employees said hello to me, which was quite nice. But I'm here to get some items. And while I'm here, I need to get some boards ripped. I go up to the pro desk and ask for help. The guy looks me right in the face and says he'll call back the guy. He didn't do anything, not at his head and fell asleep. I asked if there was a cart that I could get for wood. He said I had to go outside and get one. So walked into the middle of the parking lot and got one and wheeled back in, and ask the guy what was the name of the guy I should be looking for. He told me and I came to the back. No one here. I proceed to go up to the front two more times and ask different people to send back the person to the wood cutting station. No one comes. Call the front of the store. Tell the person that I've been here for a while and that I've gone up to the front three times without any help. He's quite a bit more helpful, but ends up hanging up on me. I hear a call go out over the intercom for somebody to come back and help it would. Here I am another 15 minutes later still without anybody helping. And so goes my four to five dozen trips here. That was the only exception I found is during the Christmas season, there's always someone helpful out on the side to cut the base off a Christmas tree.

    My Lowe’s is always an experience… not sure they screen who they hire good enough but it’s hit or miss. Sometimes they know their area and sometimes well they don’t. I went for plants and they knew all that I needed to know. Having the lining for the truck was a huge plus. But the exchange of information and guarantees given made my black thumb feel green. Thank you for helping me make my yard look amazing.

    Very disappointing experience. I bought a Kobalt drill bit set and the first time I used a bit from the set, it snapped. I had had it for a couple of weeks, so I didn't have the receipt (didn't expect the product to be junk.) They wouldn't accept a return on a poor quality product that they sell. It's no wonder they're losing to Home Depot. EDIT: It seems like Lowe's would like readers of this review to think that they've handled my complaint by posting the request to call them. (see below) They did not. I called the number which was a general customer service number that gave me the runaround and returned me to the store which refused the return in the first place (which disconnected me.)

    My name is Meredith and I stopped by Lowers to grab some products to repair some drywall. This has been one of the best customer service experiences I've ever experienced. Rosie (Customer Service Desk Professional) greeted me with friendly smiles, professionalism and extremely prompt amazing service! She ensured I had everything I needed for the repair and encouraged me that my project would go well and it did. Her dedication to excellent customer service and professionalism is second to none and reflects great credit upon herself and the Lowes brand. My overall rating undoubtedly is 5 out of 5 stars without hesitating. Rosie (Customer Service Desk Professional) deserves a big raise and the biggest recognition/honorable mention for her amazing friendly service, attentiveness and professionalism. Thanks Lowes for hiring this jewel of an employee to represent your magnificent business! :o)

    The customer service was terrible when I had a problem - I won't be ordering anything for delivery from Lowe's again. I ordered a dehumidifier for delivery. When a completely different item arrived (see photo - not even a different dehumidifier), I called customer service to fix the problem, assuming they would just send the right item immediately and send a return packing label. Instead, they wanted me to return the wrong item to a store and wouldn't send me the correct item until they had the wrong one back. I had to ask for a manager before they finally agreed to send a return label. Even then, they wouldn't send the correct item until they got the return. When they did get the return, they didn't ship the correct item, instead they refunded my card. Complete waste of my time without anything from customer service to make up for it.

    They don’t answer the phone. They pick up and put you on hold. I tried calling this store for two days and still havent gotten anyone. This happened yesterday 1/31/24 and today 2/1/24 at 3:51 pm. So whoever on the phones don’t want to be there and is hurting your business. I had a simple question yet no one picked up! This is ridiculous. I’ve called several times and it rings for about 6-7 minutes then you get out on hold for another 10. They pick up and put you back on hold then hang up! This is the 2nd time this has happened and the other time I got two ppl who didn’t know anything. What if I was calling for an emergency for another employee or someone from corporate? This is beyond unprofessional and they keep doing it.

    WAJID BEST at customer service and helping us to get our Garage Door delivered and installed! If he did not go above and beyond seeking reasons for the delay in the install ...we probably would not have gotten it done! We have had .a many things ordered with Wajid and he gets it done! My husband and I will always seek him out for care and handling of major purchases

    *Edit* This review is specifically for store #3256 in DC. The national Lowe’s Customer Care line was really great when I called and, while they couldn’t fix the problem entirely, I did feel like they understood and had actually tried to help. I also had a good experience with the woman I spoke with on the installation hotline. I was frustrated when I called the physical store, but I’m not a grumbly, finger wagging kind of person and definitely didn’t say anything that should have provoked hostility. I was surprised at how the local store’s customer service rep treated me when I was simply trying to get to the right department to get help. Their national customer care team should do some training for the store level! Adding back a star for the actual customer care service at the 888 number. ———————— Original Review Every part of our order was messed up. Their provider was unable to install our microwave because they didn’t have the product on hand when the provider attempted pick up. Then I was given incorrect information about preparing for our oven installation and the oven was not able to be installed at delivery as promised (I specifically called to ask what I needed to do a week in advance.) The delivery folks also did not leave the cable I purchased to plug in the oven, so even once the electrician performs the necessary work we can’t operate it. I am without a way to cook for another two weeks. When I tried to call and get help, I was put on hold for the better part of an hour and when a very rude customer service woman did FINALLY pick up, she told me I needed to be more patient and hung up on me. This store is the worst!

    We paid for a washing machine and never got it. Do NOT order anything from this store it is so bad you will just be astonished. It took an hour to buy and there were no other customers and then everything broke down with delivery and it’s weeks later and we cannot get out washer. Their delivery is absolutely impossible. I mean impossible! Will have to cancel payment and go somewhere else. Even a used washer would be better than this horrific experience. So in response to Lowe’s response, I had already called that number and was told a manager would contact me so we could get our money back. But the manager did not call at all. Oy! Wish I’d never gone there!!

    I would like to say Yvonne and Renisha at the customer service desk were great and beyond helpful. They went above and beyond to help me complete a return with a receipt that had faded a bit in my husband’s wallet. They could have just sent me on my way or said I can only do a store credit but instead they helped locate the information they needed to complete the return. I was so impressed and thankful I wanted to make sure I filled this out and they get the recognition they deserve.

    The employees here are courteous. But the wood cutting service they claim to offer is not available when needed. The store should just be candid that wood cutting won’t be available (or at the very least won’t be available at any specific time). I am a local DIYer (not a contractor). Before I bought wood I asked about cutting and was told it was no problem—buy it and then request a cut. I did. I was then told the lumber associate wasn’t available for an hour. I couldn’t get the wood (a single sheet of plywood I needed to cut in half) into my car, so I waited. After an hour, there was still no lumber associate, so the wood was never cut.

    I don't like all the self check out lines which are killing jobs. They did have things I was looking for in the wild bird and critter section, but it appears they need more employees -- all over the store -- to keep the inventory organized and properly shelved and labeled. The employees I did encounter were very helpful and friendly; it just looked like they need more of them.

    Ronneisha at the Washington DC Lowe's was super helpful. Greeted me when I walked in and asked if I needed help, which I did! The pavement salt I was looking for was hard to find and she pointed it out. Also helped me check out faster. She also asked me if I found what I needed when I passed by. Usually Lowe's associates are not to be found or not very helpful but Ronneisha was a breath of fresh air!
