Easily the worst McDonald’s in the region and sadly the closest to where we live. It is not uncommon to order from Pool McDonald’s and to either A; have to wait far too long, B; the fries are stone cold or C; the order is just wrong. But not just wrong, catastrophically wrong. Tonight is the final straw for this absolute shambles. I ordered a 5 piece chicken selects meal, it arrived after I was asked to wait in a bay approximately 10mins later. I checked the order and all seemed to be fine. I get home and in my 5 piece box I have 6 mozzarella sticks?!? How?? I cannot fathom the ineptitude it takes to mistake sticks of cheese for fillets of chicken. The management simply cannot be present in any way, shape or form? Honestly I’m just so annoyed that I’ve got home after checking the order to have a load of cheese sticks instead of chicken. What an absolutely shambolic display of absent mindedness. And to add insult to injury it wasn’t even busy in the slightest, to which I may have given some leniency in this review, but no, the drive through was empty and the car park no more than a quarter full. A sad sad state of affairs.

We have come every Wednesday for a treat after swimming and the drive thru is always backed up to the road. Going in the store is not an option as the service inside is so slow. No room to park as its full of uber eat or other delivery drivers. Hardly fast food. Falmouth and Truro are a better option if you don't fancy waiting 30mins

If i could rate a 0 star I would. Sent all of our food out cold, took it all back the first time for them to give us all cold again. Returned the food again for a manager that couldn't be any less interested to come out take the food and then bring back another lot and asked if it was hot enough for me. Put my hand in and asked him if this is genuinely the temperature that he is sending customers food out? Bloody disgusting

Literally the slowest McDonald’s I’ve even been. And it wasn’t even full of customers. Staff just stand on the kitchen and chat to each other without doing work. Order (one save menu, one pounder + coke) took more than 20 mins. In the end I got a cold burger. What the hell?

the atmosphere was great. it's a beautiful location and the service was relatively fast. the baby chairs had no front on though which made it a bit unsafe for the babies. the food was amazing though.

Worse McDonald's I've ever visited! We orders 2 adult and 2 kids meals on the screens. Waited 17 minutes for the meals and then the selects were missing. The order screens are incorrect and the staff advised 'the don't work properly'. The fries were greasy and undercooked and cold, the chicken selects were ironically overcooked and hard. I don't understand why as mcdonald's have strict cook times which are obviously not being followed. Will not return.

Had breakfast yesterday and was not happy the order was wrong in a few ways and when the requested drinks weren't available the worker seemed like she had a can't be bothered attitude, talk about a customer facing role. I don't really want to go back as there was a public hair on the table so we had to move and coffee resembled milk instead of coffee.

Good standard food as you'd expect. Unfortunately counter set up seems to go out of it's way to discourage any form of cash transactions i.e. no display of available menu. In this day of literally counting pennies people like the option of using cash & not just blip everything. Please McDonalds have a bit of a rethink 🤔

Awful service, rude staff and waiting over 20 mins for just a chicken nugget happy meal. Staff can see you standing waiting to be served and they don't bother to say a word to you, let alone a tually serve you. Gone downhill in the past year. Awful

This is not just a dig at McDonald’s in Pool but pretty much all McDonald’s I’ve been to in the past year. McDonald’s is no longer fast food and customer like myself who use the drive thru or sit in have seem to have been forgotten about. It seems to be all about delivering fast food service to the Uber/just eat drivers who come in and getting them in and out as quick as possible whilst I’m left waiting for 15-20 most of the time waiting for my food. The past three times (one being today) I have used the drive thru at Pool I have been told to park up and someone will bring my food over. Yes I understand it can be busy etc but one of these times was only for a happy meal. The other two times we are waiting 15-20 minutes for food to come and I always ask is everything in the bag which they say yes. I get home to find items missing each time and it’s not worth my time and effort to drive back and get my missing items that I have paid for. I’m not asking for much but please can you make sure all items are with the order and to look after the customers (provide fast food service) who are responsible for getting McDonald’s to where they are today instead of just looking after the Uber/just eat drivers.

Absolutely lovely staff here. Went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. Great food and terrific staff. Could not be improved! Thank you!

Terrible! I have never been through the drive through here and not had to wait at least 25mins before getting my food. When you finally do get your food the order is either wrong or missing part of the order. Something needs to be done to speed this up it’s nothing close to fast food.

For a MuckyDs drive through, it was very slow. Was sat in line for over 20 minutes before getting to the box to order. Then to make it worse, I was asked to wait in one of the waiting spaces, which I did..... end result cold chips. Why meke people wait and then give them cold food ??? I gave the second star because their ice cream machine was working.... I got my Banana Milkshake

Yet again pool macdinalds messed up our order, missing two lots of chips which we found out after getting home with our cold food having waited at least 15 minutes in bay 2 for our order. 😠 Tried phoning 20 times to advise we were missing some of the order but of course the phone was off of the hook,........... Maybe to stop customers phoning and making more work for them? No way of letting them know on the app or website that we were missing food. I fear thus is a great profit making scam, miss half the order in the hope that people will just rake it on the chin when the only way to rectify it us to go back to macdinalds to sort it 😪 it's happened a few times to us at this branch of Macdinalds and I know its happened to others 😲👎

Food was very late and when I got it the milk was out of date and food soggy and cold.

I ordered on the Macdonalds app. My order was completed at 19.20 This was delivered to me at 20.33 over an hr. Apparently that's acceptable. Food was cold, apple was after its discard time. The ice cream in the milkshake was melted. Won't use Macdonalds again.

Asked for salt, ketchup & BBQ sauce. Was asked to wait in car & everything would be brought to us as they were running behind on orders. When the delivered there was no salt, no ketchup & no BBQ sauce. Very poor customer service.

Atmosphere was great, I was in mar, so there was no one to spoil it. The service at the drive through is so slow, it takes ages to get to the two way radio, and then you have to wait for ages. I am sure that the person who takes the payment is also the person taking the orders from both queues. Food is always tasty, if it wasn't, I wouldn't bother putting up with the queue.
