We went to the festival and had an absolute blast, large grounds around the house which was rather underwhelming but we had a great time!

We chose Scorrier House to get married in on 11/11/23, and what a fantastic choice it was! Ollie and Laura were so much help during the planning stages and setting up, they are so organised and really had thought of absolutely everything, they were brilliant, as were the other bar staff, the rooms both in the house and the stable block rooms were all beautifully decorated and comfortable to stay for our guests and us and they provided a delicious breakfast for us in morning. The house is so beautiful, with the most amazing staircase and a stunning conservatory in full bloom and the grounds are absolutely spectacular. We are so pleased and the day was absolutely perfect, giving us memories we will treasure for the rest of our lives. We had so many compliments from our guests about the choice of venue and we would absolutely choose Scorrier House again if we were doing it over. Thank you so much for hosting us! Newly engaged couples, you have to see this venue! 🖤

Great Estate fest and Live at Scorrier House events are always good, family-friendly fun. The house itself is not as impressive to look at as other grand cornish houses, but I've not been inside.

I went to see Groove Armada recently (27/8/22). I had a fantastic time and generally the organisation of the festival was good. Plenty of staff at the entrance to direct and help us to our camping site and plenty of staff on the way into the arena and even though the queue was long it was very fast moving. I However, the facilities weren't great in the arena. There was only one bar, a small van selling tinned G&T, a small tent selling G&T and a bar selling Rattlers cider. Considering that this was the last your of groove armada I'd of thought there would have been more and the queues were ridiculous. People were waiting up to an hour at times and this was the same for the food tents. Why weren't there more staff or better facilities. Also the portaloo were not emptied at all. And the Campsite didn't close till 12pm the next day so by 9am there was only 1 which was usable and by 10 there were none. The crews toilets were emptied (I saw the lorries sail past the Campsite without stopping). This was my first visit, will it be my last. Who knows. They definitely seem ill equipped to deal with large crowds.
