The Achilles Heel of Pete's Bakery. Everything else, the pies, the pastries all usually a brilliant feed. The Veggie Pastie however is an utter fail.... Grey in colour and tastes sour! Maybe a dud one...? The Crows out the back loved it though.

Really tasty pies, but I had to use a spoon to eat it because it was falling apart so bad. Great service. There are toilets out back behind the shop. I had to get the key from the bakery and was handed a whisk. Took me a couple of seconds to see the key hanging off the end 🤣

Just got a coffee from Pete’s Bakery and it is one of the best I’ve ever had! So much great food on offer here and the dozens of loaves of freshly baked bread look amazing. Would definitely recommend 👍🏻

This place is unreal. Huge selection of pies, bread and sweets. Got a strawberry cheesecake that was so good! Planning to be there first thing tomorrow before I leave the area.

Great Pies! Steak Mushroom and Chicken Veg Curry Pie are some of the tastiest I’ve had. Fantastic baked goods section, sweet + savoury. Need to try their bread loafs next time. Will be back for sure!👌🏻👌🏻

Popped in after the Yandina markets, and once the crowd slowed down, the young lady serving me was great and even brought the coffee to my table. She did warm me about the spicy chicken/bacon burger but I decided to try it and it was delicious 🤤- served with lettuce and mayo. Yum yum, I was with my partner and a client, she wasn’t aware of the spicy chicken on the burger and the ladies were happy enough to exchange for a beef roll, no questions asked. All in all a great experience, and the coffee was great. Prices are comparable to other coffee shops but they offer a HUGE selection of products. Will def return again 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼👍🏼😄

Very great service, good quality food and the staff are always cheerful. I got there before it opened but he served me so I didn't leave empty handed. I highly recommend them 110%

Lady didn’t wear gloves while making my sandwich. Her nails were filthy and she looked like she had very poor hygiene and gum disease. I ended up throwing in the bin. I should have said something. I think they need a visit to check if they comply with food safety. Don’t recommend. Won’t be returning.

The custom cakes are amazing! I ordered a half slab for my 50th birthday (4 days before I needed it) and it was absolutely delicious!!! I fully recommend the chocolate sponge - it is rich (but not too rich) and so fluffy!! I chose the chocolate icing and chocolate decorations and literally everyone loved it!! Fully recommend the custom cakes , and everything in the display onsite looked soooo good!! Affordable, amazing and delicious!

Stopped in because it was close to the Ginger Factory and oath this place has amazing food. You know what the only bad experience with Pete's was? That I didn't have more room in my stomach to shove more food into it. I'm back in Canada now but if I ever get a chance to get anywhere close to Yandina again, I'm hitting up this place every single day. Wish I'd taken pictures of the food.

Service very good, Range of baked goods very good. The pie I got was a bit ordinary. Still pleasant enough experience and shade to sit in on verandah.

Fairly reliable array of food selections, and reliability of staff to prepare good quality products. Can get busy but staff generally on their game to turn over quickly.
