Very nice. Saw only a tiny bit of trash from previous visitors. Parking was easy. A little too thick of a broken shell bed for me personally for laying out, but the water was great and stays shallow for what felt like a long time. Saw some living sand dollars, and was super happy to see that. If you find them please keep them in the water as you look, and then put them back!! They are living creatures and deserve respect in their home!! Shower area was nice. Didn't use the restroom or picnic areas but they were easy to find and that was a nice comfort.

Beautify scenery ! The water was blue and green , so bright as if it was sparkling ! The water felt amazing , not too heavy waves ! Clean beach not too over crowded.. I mean beautiful beach and very accommodating.Cabanas for rent if you like , clean bathrooms , picnic areas , volley ball area and horse shoe toss .Parking all though very hard to find also the worse part of the trip was 10$ per day , let me add that it took about 20mins to find parking we .. along with everyone else who was looking for parking was forced to drive in circles until someone left a parking spot ..#war zone!.Other than the parking it was a great family spot .It was the first time my newborn went to the beach and he also gave it 2 thumbs up . Come and you too will have a great time .

Just the most relaxing days ever and everyone so friendly and talkative. Apparently NJ doesn't have fish in their ocean but I can assure you they do! You just cant see them in the murky dark waters. Here you can see everything and they are there! Fish like to nibble your toes!

Very nice, beach has more shells than sand. I believe that the last storm had changed it because a month ago it was more sand than shell. Still a very nice beach, easy access and not to crowded. There's jetski rentals just down the beach if the thing interests you. No lifeguards.

This is a park and pay lot. $2 per hour via machine and license plate. Lots of parking compared to many public lots along this coast. Clean bathroom facilities with both toilet and changing stalls, as well as showers and a hose outside. Nice beach- found live sand dollars, crabs and sea snails. Many protected turtle nests too. Great sunset!

The name describes this beach very well. It is certainly “pretty.” The sand is fairly smooth, despite it being sprinkled with seashells. Speaking of which, there are a ton to uncover for potential souvenirs or just to pass the time. There is a beach front restaurant nearby with tables and umbrellas. There is a small parking lot and parking is only $2/hour. There are restrooms nearby and motorized water sports available. We spontaneously decided to go jet skiing and the process was seamless, the crew was kind and courteous, and the price was affordable.

I recently visited Bonita Beach Park with my family in early June, and we had a wonderful time. The beach features a mix of sand and crushed shells, which makes for a pleasant walking experience. While there were no waves during our visit, we still enjoyed the beautiful white sand and blue water. Although the water was a bit foggy, it was still refreshing to swim in. We were lucky enough to spot a dolphin not too far from the shoreline, as well as many tiny fish throughout the day. Overall, I would highly recommend a visit to Bonita Beach Park for a relaxing day at the beach.

We are in town visiting friends and decided to take advantage of the beach since the weather back home is freezing. Parking was easy and paying for the parking was also easy. The beach was very nice, not too crowded and we loved the gentle tide.

This is such a beautiful beach. The water is warm & clear, I am 5'3" & was in the water up to my shoulders & could see my feet!! There were schools of 🐟 🐠 swimming around so majestically. I highly recommend this as a stop.

I love everything about this beach. It wasn't crowded, water was good, parking was inexpensive and plenty. I like that the cabanas are free and dressing rooms/ bathrooms were pretty clean.

Omg please don't wake me up from this beautiful dream! This beach is just magical! We come here every month and everytime i step foot on this beach, it takes my breath away. The cole of the water and sand is spectacular!! The trees, the people, even the storms are so gorgeous and the seaweed is like none other, it's so fine and not nasty if there is any at all. One of my top fave beaches!!

Pretty spot to watch the sunset. Went on a Friday evening and found a parking spot easily. They are still working on repairs due to the damage to facilities from Hurricane Ian. Parking is right next to the beach. Water was shallow pretty far out. Restaurant and bar adjacent to public area with jet ski rentals.

We enjoyed this beach in the morning before the sun was fully up and in the evening as the sun set. I only deduct a star because the bathroom facilities were not up and running but that is due to Hurricane Ian and I’m sure they’ll be back up and running as soon as possible. There are portapotties available and hand washing stations available though I’m unsure how clean they are they did not stink just walking past. Parking is free but pretty limited, get there early or get there late afternoon for your best chance at a spot! They have done a fantastic job of beach clean up post hurricane down in this area.

Beautiful, no red tide, rented jet ski from Doc’s, they have a food truck, drinks. Beach is perfect, water perfect, get there early 8-9am to park, gets tight for parking.

Third year in a row vacationing on the west coast and this is our favorite spot. Family friendly and quiet. It has of course changed a bit since the hurricane last year but still highly recommend. Get there early for parking. There is a kiosk to rent jet skies, parasailing and paddle boarding. PS: if you have sensitive feet I recommend water shoes, the shells on the beach can be uncomfortable for some.

Very nice beach with picnic tables and restroom facilities. The parking lot is medium sized. The cost is $2 per hr. Lots of nice shells on the beach. The only down side was the big waves. The kids could not swim. Overall, a great place to visit if you like waves or picking shells.

Park is still recuperating from the destruction of Hurricane Ian. Parking has been decreased. Water quality is very good. Only portable toilets available now. Bathhouse is under construction. Great spot to catch sunset.

I love it! The shells on the sand made it hard to walk barefoot, but with my sandals, I was good to go. The shells also made it look very unique.

Love this beach. We visit every year except last year when it was closed due to the damage from the hurricane. There is still work going on. Note that the change rooms, showers and bathrooms are still closed. Port-a-potty’s only. Also about half the parking was lost due to the shift in the beach. There was always limited anyways so make sure you get there early.

This is a great little beach. Waves are smaller and it’s a nice place to relax. More family-oriented. You can rent wave runners and other watercraft. Parking can be limited, but if you’re patient you will find something. Once you get to the beach walk to the left a little more and there’ll be fewer people. We will definitely go back to this one

Fantastic beach, get there early for the parking $2 hourly. Clean beach w shells on the shore-can still step through to the water comfortably 👌 The water is clear and enjoyed watching lil schools of fish while swimming. Shower area & restrooms are a bonus too! Exploring all the beaches in the area. 5 out 5

Love Bonita Beach park. We come here at least once a week. I wish they had more “hourly” parking. Because it’s always full if you don’t get there before 9:30 am, or somedays even earlier. Parking is $2/hour or they have daily rate parking in a somewhat larger lot just south of the hourly lot for $10 a day. Park, then pay with a card, then go put the receipt on the dash. Bathrooms are decent for a public place and the outside showers to rinse off are operable. The park has a few tables right as you get in, and then a few more about 100-200 feet south. Places to recycle and throw away trash are always well kept/emptied on a regular basis. The area is marked off with buoys. Which makes it a very nice place to recreate, boats always stay a large distance away. Water is never incredibly clear, but it’s clean looking and always pleasant. Somedays, especially early mornings, the water is glassy smooth. Other days, especially if there is a storm predicted, there are significant waves. It really depends on the weather patterns, and loosely correlates with time of day. We literally come here at least once or twice a week, and just love being able to soak up the sun.

The water was nice and the beach front was fairly clean, parking was tight but the cost per hour was affordable. Garbages were all full around the facilities though, would have been nice to have access to them. All in all a nice place to visit if you pack light.

White sand, lots of shell pieces mixed in so bring footwear. Calm water. Paddle board, kayak, and jet ski rentals available. Bathrooms, Beach side restaurant and bar nearby. Free life vests to borrow at the walking path entrances. No lifeguards. Can get very crowded and parking is very hard to come by.

Bathrooms and showers destroyed by hurricane last season but they have portable toilets and sinks. Beach has a lot of shells but overall nice. Come early to get parking by the beach.

A big parking lot that gets crowded fast it has about 4 picnic table areas with overhangs and bathrooms it also gives you access to the very long and nice Bonita Beach and to Docks bar and grill, right next door and don't forget to feed the parking meter machine you will get a parking fine if you don't.
