Great prices and great people and we love our furniture. 2nd time buying furniture from Blockers and very happy both times. Even the delivery guys were friendly but professional. Will always come back to Blockers.

There is no store more knowledgeable about furniture than Blocker's. They carry a vast array of manufacturers and you deal with the owners and not a commissioned salesperson (we worked with Kim Blocker). They are great to work with and will spend the time necessary to help you make the right decisions. Big, big plus, you will save money. It's well worth the drive.

Website is horrible. No prices. "Ask an expert", fill out email request and wait? Why can't you stand behind your pricing and just post the price?

Definitely a family run business where they care about your happiness with their products. Ken, especially, spent an unbelievable amount of time with us and made many helpful suggestions. We know we got the best prices anywhere and feel pleased with the quality of the furniture we bought. The whole family is honest and dedicated to customer service - even to the 19 year old daughter/granddaughter who answers the phones! Super store! Barbara was the only salesperson on the floor when we came in on a Saturday and she was absolutely wonderful. Not only did she have 4 other customers at the same time, which she handled with ease, she was very knowledgeable and helpful! We love our new furniture and Blocker's Direct!!! I just want to say Kim was so patient and very helpful in helping me find a new sofa. I’m having an unexpected shoulder surgery and I was under so much duress. Kim was so thoughtful and made our experience so much easier. The sofa was delivered today just as she said it would be, right on time and Robert and his assistant did a great job at removing the old and settling up the new! I can’t Thank you enough Kim!! Blocker is by far the best furniture store I have ever dealt with. We purchased quite a few pieces of furniture and love them all. But, we had an issue with a lazy boy chair that lazy boy was not helping us with. When I talked to Ken he was very upset. He spoke to his lazy boy rep and called me back and gave me a phone number to call and told me a few things to say to them and finally they are going to replace my chair. It would never have happened if it wasn't for Ken's help. He went above and beyond to make us happy. Customer service is number one at this store! Everyone there is very pleasant to deal with. Thank you again you are one in a million!

Worked with Ken Blocker and in 4 hours had picked out furniture for three rooms in our new home. Not only was he very knowledgeable about his products but steered us to higher quality furniture at amazing low prices. We spend 3-4 months in NC in the summer and his prices are lower then some of the major “discount outlets “ in NC. Plus it always helps to buy local and make sure that our local businesses continue to thrive. There family made, what some consider difficult, a very present experience. We will go back and would advise all to look at Blocker’s before you buy another piece of furniture.

Approaching a year on my order now and no definite answer on arrival. I’m frankly tired of this and after having the order arrival damaged, I’m filing a complaint with BBB and my credit card. I will never recommend Blockers for an order because they dimply could care less. Once they have your money, you are the only loser.
