I
will
neither
over,
nor
under
recommend
this
underutilized
restaurant
in
the
small
agricultural
town
of
Immokalee.
Raynor's
is
not
easy
on
the
eyes.
If
you're
looking
for
one
of
those
small,
rough-hewn
restaurants
in
the
middle
of
a
tiny
town
in
the
"real"
Florida,
you've
found
it.
The
exterior
is
rough
and
the
dining
room
is
closed
down
for
now,
but
there's
a
reason
why
locals
flock
here.
Raynor's
understands
how
to
run
a
fryer
and
grill
as
well
as,
or
better
than,
any
of
the
competition
in
its
immediate
area.
Juicy
and
thick
burgers
and
steaks,
perfectly
fried
chicken
with
flavorful
breading,
and
subtly-flavored
breaded
fish
of
several
varieties
all
emerge
from
its
small
service
window
within
fifteen
to
twenty
minutes
of
ordering.
My
wife
and
I
ordered
a
catfish
and
fried
chicken
dinner
for
reasonable
prices
and
received
food
of
very
high
quality
with
as
solid
a
level
of
service
as
we
could've
asked
for
from
a
business
that's
just
running
from
a
window
and
kitchen
right
now.
We
both
received
sides
of
(rather
plain,
unseasoned)
crinkle
cut
French
fries
(perhaps
my
primary
point
of
culinary
criticism),
savory
hush
puppies,
and
a
yummy,
creamy
variety
of
coleslaw.
Our
main
dishes
were
fried
as
perfectly
as
southern
comfort
food
staples
could
be.
My
wife's
three
piece
chicken
resulted
in
a
leftover
breast
because
there
was
simply
plenty
of
food
for
a
good
price.
The
soda,
another
odd
point,
seemed
to
have
a
questionable
mix
of
fountain
syrup
to
carbonated
water.
I'm
not
sure
why.
That's
due
for
a
fix
if
it's
a
regular
problem,
but
overall,
I'd
certainly
recommend
this
place
if
you're
in
the
Immokalee
area
for
a
bit.
