Great parking right next to the beach. Lovely sandy/shelly beach, we had some great waves a few days ago too. Clean and quiet beach with toilet facilities. Some of our family are regulated visitors to this area and also love it.

The best beach with Crystal clear water and tons of space too... walk over to the far north end over the dunes to find a great Honey Hole for shelling, fishing and relaxing. Beautiful views!!!

Great beach day in December! Although it looks nothing like Google maps, this was a gorgeous beach! The greenery that shows on the satellite view of Google maps was likely taken away with hurricane Ian in 2022. There are 4 porta-pots big enough to change in if needed, as well as trash cans. Pay to park $2 per hour.

Very nice beach. You need to weak up early to find a parking spot, for me is the only inconvenient, over that it is a great beach.

Great beach, perfect warm water. Hope the entire area can continue to improve from hurricane damage and hotels and churches are able to get back to 100 percent. Everyone we met were friendly and all our meals were delicious.🙂

Minus the seaweed, this beach was very nice. Easy walk, free parking, and beautiful waters. There were not a ton of people there, which was nice. Crews were working on the buildings and houses, but it wasn't loud construction. Lots of people on jet skis and boats having fun. Bathrooms were down, but there were porterjohns

Nice little public beach access point. Some damage from hurricane, so no public restroom or showers but not crowded and very clean beach.

Beautiful, but small beach. Parking is tight and if you brave it on the weekend, you have to pray you are lucky enough to snag a spot. Since the beach is small, it gets crowded quickly. However, still worth it crowds and parking woes, just look at that view!

Went to beach late afternoon on Monday not so crowded got parking place to enjoy beach, calm waters and sunset. Watched all the birds too. Very nice and warm waters now. However restrooms filthy and too much trash was spoilers.

My wife and kids' favorite beach in the area (not that we've been to every single one, but quite a few). It's rarely crowded, has a good sand bar, and they love the walk up the beach to the shell hunting area, where the river hits the Gulf.

Before coming I attempted to find dog rules. The Web link takes you to the Lee county website. Was unable to find out anything specific to this park but did find sure general park rules that said on leash was ok. After arriving, paying for parking I see the no did allowed sign. Really disappointing.

This was one of my favorite places now I'll be avoiding it. Another pay 2 park.

Six months since the hurricane hit. The beach is still there but everything else is gone...the beautiful vegetation, the pavilions, boardwalk to the beach, etc. Porto potties are set up but nasty.

I watched the sunrise. It's very peaceful. I saw manatee, several dolphins, sand crabs and of course birds.

Long white sandy beach with pelicans in flight during sunset. Parking is a challenge at times but the sunset view offsets the troubles.

Beautiful beach, fine and very white sand, the perfect place to go to watch the sunset. It is also a beautiful place where you can go to observe birds, snails and nature. My review is 4 stars and not 5 because the whole place is under construction and there is a lot of construction noise.

This beach is an amazing jewel in Lee County. Clear waters, white smooth sand and an incredible view. Be there early so you don't have to wait for a parking space.

  • 5/5 Louis C. 9 months ago on Google
Awesome public beach with free parking and not too crowded on a Saturday. No restrooms since the hurricane struck. But nevertheless, a good option for a beach day.

Having never been here before Hurricane Ian, I would have never even known that it was the same park seen in some of the reviews. All of the plants/boardwalk are gone. The Bathhouse is fenced off and damaged. Porta potties are available and hand washing stations. Beach is cleaned and we still enjoyed our time here. Parking was okay early in the morning and in the late afternoon hours.

This is a very peaceful place. Free parking. Enjoyed that it was less crowded and a lot of walking area. There are shells to collect also. Its really nice to see they are rebuilding this once beautiful place.

Went for the day. It was cold and foggy that day but we had a great time. Shells galore! The sand was soft. It was very quiet when we went so super relaxing. Nice tucked away little spot that we just happened upon. Would definitely go back.

Nice, quiet beach. Great for shelling. No big waves but there are waves and the ocean gets pretty deep fairly quickly.

  • 5/5 Ana R. 3 years ago on Google
This beach has a lot of parking options. You can either park in the main parking lot and pay around $7 for parking, or park in one of the 9 free parking spots (those spots don't have as many people). This beach is very recommendable and has a restaurant right by the water.
