Good but sad. Beautiful dog park with lots of grass and trees and picnic tables, sunny and shady areas, but not a single dog ☹️ I’m here on a Sunday afternoon. Waited from 3:30 - 4:45 with my pooch and no furry friends showed up. Maybe better luck next time.

SQUIRRELS Many, many squirrels...running around the parking lot here, a lot more than average, I had to stop several times while driving around the parking lot, because there was a squirrel in the road...PLEASE drive extremely slow, 5mph, and be on a sharp look out for them!! Drive squirrel-friendly ♡

All of the parks in Naples are gorgeous and the Golden Gate Community Park is no exception. This park serves the Golden Gate community located in the far northeastern part of the Naples. Golden Gate began as a development in the 1950s and 1960s from 175 square mile of Everglades swampland purchased in the late 1950's by Jack and Leonard Rosen, founders of Gulf American Corporation. Before Golden Gate, the Gulf American Corporation had success in developing Cape Coral. Neighborhoods in Golden Gate include Golden Gate City, Golden Gate Estates, Forest Park, Berkshire Village, and Safe Harbor. Unlike many west coast neighborhoods,, Golden Gate has no gulf coast access. It does however have many miles of canals. Golden Gate Community Park is located on one of the canals and has a launch for the type of small watercraft the canals are ideal for. Another draw to the park is the aquatic facility that has a 25-yard by 25-meter heated pool, a children’s activity pool, a wading pool, a 177-foot open slide, a 122-foot closed slide, one 1-meter springboard and one 3-meter springboard. The aquatic facility charges a nominal entrance for residents. There is also a fitness center with treadmills, ellipticals, free weights and weight machines. You can purchase monthly and yearly fitness memberships. Other park amenities include a lighted little league field, lighted baseball field, lighted soccer/football fields, lighted basketball court, 4 lighted tennis racquetball courts, shuffleboard courts, bocce court, playground, restrooms, and picnic pavilions which can be rented. As a visitor, my favorite part of the park was the nearly one mile paved fitness trail. I love how this park offers something for all ages. Take the kids to the pool or playground, exercise at he fitness center, participate in team sports at one of the fields, or enjoy a picnic in one of the pavilions. The options for recreation are endless in this well appointed park.

Nice park along canal. Nice walking paths through baseball fields and around tennis courts and canal. Great birds to view, restroom is always spotless. Yoga on mo day that I want to check out. Pool and gym that can be paid daily. I see a kids pool and a water slide! That's pretty dope for a community park! Very clean throughout.

We really appreciate this place, my family and I have been playing on this park and using the facilities for around 10 years. In my case, I use the Rackets Courts 🎾 every Sundays, and spend hours enjoying it. But Courts may need some maintenance, over the time the lines that limits the walls and the ground have faded and most of them are gone already. Hopefully someone reads this comment and help us get it back to a better shape. Overall these are in good conditions but may need the lines repainted to improve the Users experience. Thanks a lot in advance. (The blue strip on the wall is just a masking tape)

I go to the gym about 3 times a week. Nice facility. I use the weight resistance machines and for the most part they are in pretty good shape. I seldom use the tread mills but they have a good setup, they have 5 TVs hanging from the ceiling with FM numbers below them. Just tube your FM headset and here the TV. Prices are $27 a month, great price.

Nice family park. Bathrooms nearby (unfortunately not in the best condition). My son was stuck with no "tp" 🤣 but luckily the ladies room had some still. Park is very nice though and the waterway with a boatramp makes for a pleasant day on the water. Unfortunately there is a lot of trash in the water but not as bad as New York🤷‍♂️

We loved it. We could enter free of charge. There are two swimming pools. One with the water slides for kids. A huge fitness room with lots of equipment. We spent fabulous time! Thank you!

Excellent Halloween experience. With the covid going on the kids had nowhere to go. This night made all the kids happy. Great job to all the volunteers who put this night together. Thank you all

It is just an excellent place to go relax or exercise and play sports and swim and take your dogs . It also has a wide variety of birds and other animals to see and enjoy. Equipped with restrooms, cold water fountains, gym, swimming pool with high and low diving boards, water slides. I'll definitely be going back.

I went here to go fishing in the canal, but took a stroll around their park. The park itself is really nice. For a community park, I was shocked to see a small water park in it for the kids. Not just a pool, but a small water park! Everything was kept neat and this place has a boat ramp to boot! If you're looking for a nice place to spend with your family, especially young kids, I feel this is an excellent place to go!

This is a great park to take your kids or by yourself. They have shuffle board, tennis court, dog park, water park, playground ect. It's quiet, clean, can keep you busy for hours

Aquatic center, fitness center, playground for kids and a dog park. There are tennis courts, boat ramps, and a walk trail. There's so much more this park offers as well. Picnic areas are under cover. For a small fee you can entertain the kids at the splash pad on these unbearably hot days. Guards are on duty to ensure everyone's water safety. The staff is friendly as well. This is a great community park.

I like this park. My son plays baseball here. I do feel like I have to stay alert, however. I wouldn’t just take a nap in the park, per sé. The pool look nice .

This park is great it has a playground, tennis, racket ball, basketball, soccer and baseball fields, it's one of my favorite parks in Naples the only bad thing is the adults who play basketball in the afternoon smoke weed all the time which sucks because you can smell it from the playground. I don't care if you smoke weed but don't do it next to a place where kids play
