The
hotel
is
nice
and
clean,
and
everything
was
good
at
first
until
I
decided
to
use
a
kettle
(provided
by
the
hotel).
The
lights
switched
off.
I
used
the
emergency
number
as
there
was
no
one
downstairs.
It
didn’t
cross
my
mind
at
first
that
I
could
be
accused
of
anything,
I
thought
that
the
hotel
would
apologise
for
the
inconvenience.
So,
when
the
hotel
representative
started
to
talk
to
me
in
a
not
polite
way,
I
was
really
confused.
I
explained
him
the
situation
–
but
he
was
not
satisfied
with
my
explanation.
He
went
to
a
big
switch
box
and
returned
the
electricity.
Then
he
returned
and
continued
to
ask
the
same
questions
about
what
I
had
done.
I
told
him
that
his
behaviour
scared
me
–
but
there
was
no
reaction.
He
was
walking
through
the
room
looking
at
my
pyjama
and
other
stuff
on
the
bed,
and
clothes
in
a
wardrobe
and
then
he
wanted
to
go
to
a
bathroom.
He
didn’t
ask
for
a
permission
to
enter.
I’ve
asked
why
he
wanted
to
go
there,
he
answered
“to
investigate”.
I
am
not
sure
there
was
a
socket
in
the
bathroom,
I
haven’t
noticed
any.
I
said
again
that
the
whole
situation
was
scary.
He
took
my
electricity
card
from
the
holder,
looked
at
me
menacingly,
and
said
“I
will
report
you!”.
I
was
not
sure
if
I
should
have
waited
for
the
police
or
somebody
else.
This
man
(he
didn't
present
himself)
behaved
so
protectively
of
the
property
and
was
walking
around
and
looking
at
my
quite
intimate
stuff
with
a
view
of
a
person
who
does
own
this
place.
He
said
that
nothing
like
that
had
ever
happened
in
a
hotel
for
five
years,
so
he
is
definitely
here
for
a
long
time.
The
booking.com
employee
contacted
the
hotel
representative
in
a
response
to
my
request.
It
turned
out
that
the
representative
was
a
manager,
and
he
said
to
booking.com
that
he
was
calm
and
tried
to
help
me.
He
said
that
I
ruined
their
electricity
system
with
my
foreign
charger
(which
I
was
not
using
at
the
moment).
He
didn’t
apology,
he
saw
nothing
wrong
in
his
behaviour.
I
was
advised
by
the
booking.com
representative
not
to
charge
my
phone
and
computer
in
a
the
hotel.
No
one
considered
the
fact
that
there
was
a
hotel
adapter
used
to
connect
the
kettle
to
the
socket
which
could
be
the
trigger.
It
was
good
to
know
that
this
representative
was
not
the
owner,
but
he
was
still
in
the
same
building,
and
he
had
keys
to
all
the
rooms.
And
the
fact
that
I
am
sitting
in
a
lobby,
crying
and
feeling
frightened
to
sleep
at
the
place
he
is
in
charge
of…
If
you
are
a
man,
a
manager
of
a
place
and
you
found
out
something
like
that
about
a
woman
staying
at
your
place,
what
would
your
reaction
be?
I
didn’t
feel
safe
with
a
hotel
manager
behaving
like
that.
I
decided
to
collect
my
stuff
and
leave,
it
was
1.30am.
I
would
probably
suggest
solo
travelling
women
to
think
twice
before
booking
this
villa.
If
something
goes
wrong,
you
may
be
accused
and
threatened,
without
any
proof
and
sensitivity.
No
one
cares
that
the
justification
–
“you
are
guilty
because
I
haven’t
seen
this
happening
before”
is
not
a
good
justification.
Since
childhood,
I
was
very
much
aware
of
electricity
safety
rules.
And
I’ve
never
done
anything
in
my
life
to
damage
any
electricity
system.
I
am
always
very
respectful
to
other
people,
their
property,
to
public
property.
The
hotel
representative
had
no
right
to
behave
like
that
towards
me,
to
accuse
me
and
frighten
me.
P.s.:
the
manager
tried
to
remove
the
comment. He
illegally
charged
me
despite
the
fact
that
I'd
received
a
confirmation
from
booking.com
of
free
of
charge
cancellation.
When
I
returned
next
day
to
give
a
key
back,
the
manager
continued
to
insist
on
my
fault,
no
apologies.
He
refused
to
let
me
talk
to
the
owner
of
the
hotel,
his
father,
and
showed
me
how
kettle
was
perfectly
working,
in
an
empty
hotel
in
the
afternoon.
He
said
that
this
room
is
separate
and
not
a
part
of
the
common
hotel
electricity
system.
The
fact
that
the
electricity
returned
from
the
common
switch
box
was
not
confusing
at
all.
Overall,
very
distressing
experience
which
ruined
my
Ravenna
trip
-
and
the
worst
hotel
stay
in
my
life.
