👍👍 Let me help you. First of all you need ID card. You give them it and they’ll give you guest card, so you can enter the actual bank. When you go upstairs and and enter it, you’ll see opened door which leads to museum. That’s the only part of the bank which can see as a visitor. You can take picture... Don't forget long pants and ID or they wont let you in! It's free to get in and free to get your photo printed on a bank note. Pretty cool place to see how all the different bank notes and coins change over time. To get your photo printed on the bank note, there is a printer and webcam by the entry door and someone will help you do it.

When you go upstairs and and enter it, you’ll see opened door which leads to museum. That’s the only part of the bank which can see as a visitor. You can take pictures and also you can get a souvenir money with your picture on it. Old money and some kind of machines are exhibited. After you finished observation you’ll go downstairs and they’ll give you your ID back. I’m not sure if you can give them passport, but you probably can. I also read that you need to have long pants, as a girl I was wearing skirt and it was fine.

A visit to the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) can be an interesting and educational experience, especially for those interested in learning about the country's financial system and monetary policy. Visitors can start by visiting the NBS Museum, which is open to the public and provides an interactive and informative experience. The museum showcases the history of money, the evolution of the financial system in Serbia, and the role of the central bank in the country's economy. The museum also features various exhibits, including a collection of coins and banknotes from different periods in Serbia's history, and an interactive multimedia presentation that explains the functions of the central bank and its role in maintaining financial stability.

Such a hidden jewel in Belgrade! Wouldn't have thought to enter if I didn't go on a walking tour. You can print your own face on the money!

-written June 17, 2021- Closed for CoVid. I wish this had been posted somewhere because we were really excited to go get our faces printed on bank notes. Such a great souvenir idea. When we arrived the woman at the entryway said the museum remains closed due to CoVid and they don’t know when it will reopen. We thanked her and turned to leave, but then I turned back and said, “Oh, also...” to which she cut me off with a very polite, but slightly exasperated “Yes, the money printer is also unavailable due to CoVid.” So it sounds like they get asked nearly every day and would definitely benefit from posting some official info.

(Translated by Google) The National Bank of Serbia is housed in a very nice building in the heart of Belgrade. The building was built in 1885, according to the plans of the famous architect of that time, Konstantin Jovanović, whose several buildings are under state protection. Extensive reconstruction was carried out in the period from 1922 to 1925. The building houses an exhibition of money that has been used in Serbia for centuries, and it's nice to see that. It is still considered a central place, due to such a long tradition, although most of the services have been transferred to a new and modern building on Slavija.

(Translated by Google) This is now the museum of the National Bank of Serbia, which is still in preparation. The building was built in the spirit of academism and abounds in the richness of the facade both outside and inside. At the moment, there is a pedestrian zone all around, it is not possible to pass by car anywhere except from the back, where there are restrictions and restrictions on the passage of vehicles.

(Translated by Google) It is more correct to say a money museum rather than a national museum. A nice exhibition, from the collection of coins used in Belgrade for centuries, to the current money. I learned about the existence of this place from a traveler whose photo is above the money and immediately took his way. They take your photo in 1 minute and give the money to your hand and there is no charge. In the center of Belgrade and free visit.

(Translated by Google) Beautiful space, small item, but very interesting. You will also receive a bank note with your memorial figure, if you like :) In addition to the large number of banknotes, there are also golden leverages, coin presses, a counterfeit banknote detector where you can check your bank notes. There is also a parallel view of falsified and original banknotes with a detailed description. There is also a section with three lever, gold, lead and a lever of the same size that can be lifted to compare their weight.

Really fun quick and free stop while exploring central Belgrade. You get your picture printed onto a fake bill and can see the gorgeous architecture. I think we were there for 20 minutes tops, but it was a nice little detour from the main sights. (We had the place to ourselves too even though it was August.)
