Bird watching area

šŸ‘šŸ‘ Visited Bhigwan flamingo lake with my boys from Bikersā€™ Creed India. We got a 1 hour lake boat ride. Had an absolutely beautiful time. Early morning sunrise followed by the serene lake experience. Massive flamingo sightings. Definitely an experience worth it.

Good Place to visit for bird and nature lovers. Many different bird species are there to see at kumbhargaon. Beautiful nature view at sunrise/sunset. Also good place to visit with the family/friends.

Best time to see the flamingos in bhagwan is in early morning or evening, under the roof of beautiful sky while boating in a lake and yes don't forget to bring binoculars to see them clearly.

Those with the pinker coloring are found residing in Africa and EastĀ India. This particular species ofĀ FlamingoĀ has the most diversified habitat in the wild of all of them. During the colder times of the year, many of the GreatĀ FlamingosĀ in AsiamigrateĀ to warmer climates. They generally end up in either Iran orĀ India.

There aren't alot of birds to see, but which ever species are there they are wonderful. I mostly got to see, Grayhorn, Flamingo's lot otlf them, seagulls where also too many, There was this yellow duck kind of looked funny. And that's it. Birds come there in mid November and leave in late February as told by the guide.

Good place but needs to be kept clean by the authorities. Proper information for visitors too seems lacking and boatmen charge huge fee as they expect you to negotiate. All in all its a treasure for Maharashtra and India and needs to be maintained and kept free of pollution and rampant development around.
