Sometimes going early is not the best thing to do 😅. Early morning fog caught me by surprise. I did not have experience which I expected but still it was amazing ride going up to this Park. Short walk uphill from the entrance is relaxing and not to much steep. Unfortunately didn't manage to enjoy the view (which means ill have to return again). But nonetheless it was amazing. Does vendors should have a bit reasonable prices and I expected to have some coffee or milktea available (but there wasn't). Anyway it's a place to enjoy the view, relax and not to be occupied by small things. Just bring your own water, coffee or what ever you prefer. Small small meals are avilable as well. Do not come early morning in January as fog is not your best friend.

Still one of the best places to visit in Tagaytay... Especially early mornings. The breeze and the view is just amazing. It makes you feel like you're not anywhere the metro. A quick weekend visit refreshes your mind and soul. Place is well kept and very clean. You just have to pay 20 pesos for parking if your bringing your own transpo and an entrance fee of 30 per head. Highly recommended for the family.

Peoples Park in the Sky, a place where you can see how beautiful Tagaytay is. In a low budget getaway, if you are travelling the south you should at least visit this place. It cost cheap, your eyes will be filled with peace looking at the scenery. You can do a picnic there are designated places where you and your family can eat and bond. Souvenir shops can be found if you want to keep the memory and make it last for more. This place will definitely give you a lot of time to kill and a lot of joy..

SUPERB SCENERY! TRULY ONE OF A KIND! hopefully this place that has its own rich history get its own renovation. sad to see the place not being taken care properly. :( gates is at ₱30 for both child and adult, no fees for infants. ₱10 for the jeepney ride from the gate to the mansion.

A nice place to visit with family and friends. It's quiet and relaxing. They offer a jeepney service to the top and the bottom of the place. Great for elderly people, they don't need to walk up. The entrance fee is 30 pesos, which is reasonably priced. There are souvenir stores on the top. You can also get your pictures taken and printed. Food stores are also available. Overall it's a great place for family and friends, Even for elderly people.

Beautiful little gem. It wasn't on our tour itinerary but our driver said we booked them for the whole day and took us here before returning. The views from up here are incredible. It was a little cloudy on our day but I can imagine that on a clear day it'll blow your mind! There are several little souvenir stalls and a cafe up the top. You can use a jeepney to reach the top. I didn't but I loved watching them going up and down the beautiful road. Definitely recommend visiting!

Prepare your lungs as it is a bit challenging walk before you reach the view deck but it is all worth it. With couple of food stalls and souvenir shops to chose your pasalubong.

A breath of fresh air. The place is very refreshing, quiet, and relaxing. Perfect spot if you want a break from "city life." Going up is a bit of a challenge thou if you are walking as the slope is very steep, but there is a jeepney going back and forth (for a minimal fee) which is very convenient especially for senior citizens, pregnant tourists, or those with children.

This a bit of a ride to get up there, and had a nice view of the surrounding valleys. The bathroom inside there park was a better choice and they all cost $10 pis. Fit for royalty but good enough for me. Church services are held here, maybe closer to god? Nice picnic spot for sure, and try the local “taho” like sweet imitation ice cream Sunday but it’s actually tofu based. 👩‍🍳😊

We went here on November 5, 2023. It was a beautiful and sunny day. There are plenty of views of distant cities and vistas all around. It is a great place to hike. It is about 2 bends with a substantial incline. It might be a mix of heat and cold throughout the incline, so dress accordingly! I suggest a light jacket you can easily zip up or take off. There are a couple of Jeepneys at both the top and bottom who will transport you and your group if you feel like you are too tired to go up or down the road. They do have a bathroom near the top, but it is pay per use, so be aware of that. There are also spots near the top that are also paid, meaning if you wanted to sit down in one of the labeled booths, you must pay to relax or to sit and enjoy the view from that spot. A couple of souvenir shops are near the top with negotiable prices. If you want to eat at a couple of shops and little restaurants, there's plenty before you enter the park near the bottom. Overall, it is beautiful, and it is definitely worth the visit whether you're here as a tourist (like myself) to go sightseeing or to go on a short hike with a very rewarding view!

Great view from top. One of the major attractions in tagaytay. The place is more clean and try to avoid plastic wastes as possible. It's a more cool place up here. Mostly it'll be crowdy but as it's an open are you'll get your view. The tickets costs less than 50 pesos.

It's been a while since the last time I visited People's Park in the Sky and yet it still gives me the same fulfilling vibe. Once you are on the place you'll feel the bliss of cool wind and its amazing view will make you stay almost all day long. With just 30 pesos you will enjoy the attractions unlimited. And since we are still on Pandemic, Kids are not yet allowed. Facemask and Face shields are a must also :) #TravelSafe #RycaLakwatsera

Views - 3/5 Price - P30 Ambience - 2/5 Overall not bad. Not a huge highlight, but worth visiting if you are near and have time. Weather was windy and cool. Air was fresh and clean. Views were not bad. Viewing deck is a bit run down and poorly maintained. Nice little church / shrine up top with a view. A small balcony where you can picture with some horses too.

"People Park in the Sky," also known as "People's Park" or "Taal Vista Hotel Sky Ranch," is a stunning and unique attraction located in Tagaytay, Philippines. My visit to this elevated park left me with a sense of wonder and an unforgettable experience. As you ascend the winding road up the Tagaytay Ridge, the anticipation builds. Once you reach the entrance, you're greeted with breathtaking panoramic views of the Taal Volcano and Lake. The sight of the majestic volcano surrounded by the vast blue expanse of the lake is absolutely awe-inspiring. The park itself is perched on the edge of the ridge, and it's designed to make the most of this incredible vantage point. The first thing you notice is the lush greenery and colorful flowers that adorn the park's walkways. It's a fantastic place for leisurely strolls and enjoying the cool mountain air. One of the park's standout features is the "Sky Eye," which is one of the tallest Ferris wheels in the Philippines. Riding this giant wheel is a thrilling experience, offering not only a bird's-eye view of the surrounding landscapes but also a unique perspective of the Tagaytay region. For the more adventurous, there are ziplines and other attractions that add an element of excitement to the visit. The park's layout is designed to cater to people of all ages, making it an ideal destination for families, couples, and friends alike. What I appreciated most about "People Park in the Sky" is its historical significance. It was originally constructed as a presidential mansion but was repurposed into a park for public enjoyment. The remnants of the mansion, including its grand staircase, add an intriguing layer of history to the park. The food options at the park are diverse, with local and international cuisines available. Dining with the view of the Taal Volcano is a remarkable experience in itself. In conclusion, "People Park in the Sky" is a must-visit destination for anyone exploring Tagaytay. Its combination of stunning natural beauty, thrilling attractions, and historical resonance make it a unique and unforgettable experience. The views alone are worth the trip, but the park's thoughtful design and activities make it a well-rounded destination for travelers of all kinds.

Went here and shot these images at around 7-8 in the morning of January 🥶 The fog was heavy, it was windy, and droplets of water rained down due to the fog. Unfortunately, we cannot sightsee at the top because the whole place is surrounded with fog. We'd love to go back next time to hike and sightsee. According to the locals, we could have seen the residence of former president Marcos, pineapples, and so on. Looking forward to see them after I came here 20+ years ago.

The air is fresh here and could be better if there is no jeepney that pollutes the air every time it went pass. Just don't see the need for the jeepney with less than 150m walk from the entrance to the peak. If there could be a clear sign or illustration to inform first-timers there of the short walk ahead I think there will be fewer 'lazy' people to fund the existence of the jeepney. The place could definitely be improved to make it more attractive to visitors such as to add pavilions and seats that people don't have to pay money to use...

The reopened People's Park in the Sky is still a good go-to in Tagaytay City. It's cheap entrance is considered still of value. With the refurbishing of some of it's structures it is considered a good place. But I still really long for the old People's Park in which has a lot of amenities that would be attract more tourist.

January 15, 2021 I think this is the highest place in Tagaytay Schedule: 7am to 5pm Monday to Sunday Entrance fee - P30 (kids & adults) Parking fee (just near the entrance) -P20 pesos ( for motorcycles, may differ if cars) Requirements: Faceshield Facemask There is a comfort room, inside the peoples park (one on top of the place, fee is 10 for females and males.) Outside on the nearest food store (fee is 10 pesos) Upon entering, you will pay 30 pesos and youll be given a ticket, afterwards youll proceed just right next to the entrance to fill up a health monitoring form. (on the white tent, see the pictures) After filling up, youll be asked if you want to ride a jeepney to reach the top of peoples park (certains fees will apply, im not sure if its free) or (the best thing) walk from the entrance to the top, a little bit of cardio but best for enjoying the view. Place is still the same as before, some parts where painted and the vandalism in the pineapple and most parts are gone. Souvenir shop is up and some stores are around, selling food and snacks. Great place for family bonding, sight seeing and enjoying the cold weather of Tagaytay.

If you want a place close to nature without traveling so far, you are most welcome to visit the highest place in Tagaytay. It's just one bus ride away from Cavite . Also, the cool breeze during the morning here seems like you're in Baguio, too. We actually went there because it's a famous place and you can go there without much money with you. The entrance fee is very affordable and the jeepney ride going there is also cheap. Though it's not like Star City and Enchanted Kingdom, it is a good place for family bonding and such. There were no special attractions there except from the mime man and parrot there. I think just by looking at the shades of green you'll be very relaxed. We took the opportunity to take photos with greens, white and blues in People's Park. It is a very eco-friendly place.

We came at a great time where there were no traces of fog and so we were able to take in the phenomenal view of the area. I love seeing the greenery of the mountains as well as the Taal Volcano which can be seen from here as well. There is a small parking area before you enter the park as well as several different food stalls. But do be wary of the hike to get to the top, it's not that far but it can prove to be quite exhausting for those who are already feeling their age. The park does provide a jeepney ride to get to the top although quite pricey.

If you think the palace itself is picturesque, then you'll be disappointed. The place is old, dilapidated, and not really picture-worthy. The real scene-stealer (no pun intended) are the morning fog (be sure to visit between 6 AM to 8 AM) and the view of the Taal volcano and lake.

Take a jeep from Oliveros new terminal that show "People's Park" on the drivers window. It's very convenient that there's a jeep going there. It'll be a challenge to walk going up from the front gate but you can slowly appreciate the place while walking. There're food stores and souvenir shops inside along the way up. The view at the top was spectacular. You can see the whole Tagaytay and Laguna. The place was really old and overgrown but some areas are not and accessible to the top. It's best to visit there around February and August to avoid rainy days. Although Tagaytay has a chill temperature despite the hot sunny day. The one challenge is going back to Oliveros. You have to take a trike down to the highway from the gate or you should wait for a jeep from Oliveros to arrive.

When the time is just right, the park is filled with fog throughout the day. The clouds were literally as low as can be, and with the winds blowing, you'll weave in and out of the mist with just enough moment to catch the view then into the mist you go. It has parking, approachable staff, and the restrooms are clean, there's a shop at the top to buy food and coffee. You can catch a ride from the parking lot going to the park but you can't go wrong if you hike it. Personally, if it's hot out, I'd rather not go. Try to visit when the weather is cool and breezy.

Been here a couple of times since my early 20s days riding bike. Now spending my time with my wife, daughter and baby boy :). Place did not change much except for the new shop at the top which serves milk tea and pizzas. Good place to bond with your family and the weather is nice.

Great views and not much of a hike from the bottom. There are also jeepneys to take you up the hill. Definitely worth the 50php entrance fee, breathtaking views and some attractions to spend time there. There are a couple small places to eat at the top, as well as souvenir shops, but there's even more at the foot of the hill before the entrance.

While People's Park in the Sky offers breathtaking views, my preference for more interactive experiences made it less appealing. The limited activities, coupled with the crowd and potential seat restrictions, posed a slight inconvenience. I'd recommend it as a quick visit for capturing picturesque moments, but for those seeking more engaging attractions, it might not be the ideal destination. The scenic beauty, however, makes it a worthwhile spot for a brief stop and photo opportunities. •Scenic Views: People's Park in the Sky provides stunning panoramic views. •Limited Activities: The lack of interactive activities might not appeal to those seeking more engagement. •Crowded Atmosphere: The number of visitors and potential seat restrictions can be a hassle. •Quick Visit Suggestion: Recommend it as a brief stop for capturing picturesque moments or taking photos. •Ideal for Photography: The scenic beauty makes it a worthwhile spot for those looking for photo opportunities.

We went here last week together with my friends. We rode our motorcycle and I must say that the roads we drove were really steep so I highly advise to just drive slowly, take your time and just enjoy the view and scenery. When we arrived at the top part, there was a parking fee (varies on vehicle) There are food stalls and restos and the prices are worth it for me since most of them are delicious. If you really wanna go to the very top part, you need to pay an entrance fee and if you don't wanna walk up, there is a jeepney terminal that you can ride on. We really enjoyed the overlooking view of Taal Lake and after awhile, it became too foggy and it was a very magical and memorable experience! We will definitely come back again!

Right now peoples park/ palace in the sky does not accept children who are 15 below, they need to have proof that a children that they will there are 15 and above. Do not forget to bring faceshield and facemask upon entering the premises of the area. So this a good place if you have own car and want to experience close to the clouds just bring food and drinks in order to lessen the cost. The price of there bulalo 295good for 2 person with rice so if you a family just bring ample food if you have short budget that's the best way to enjoy your trip

We were here on December 20, 2020. There was a typhoon during that time so the weather was very cloudy and the fog & wind was much more intersified. Thankfully, it didn't rain. Face mask and face shield are required in entering. You'll have to also fill up health declaration form in the entrance. Anyway, the entrance fee is Php 30.00. They were not very strict in wearing face shield once you've already entered since the wind is really strong & can literally flew away your face shields. But still, observe proper social distancing & other health protocols. It's the best first stop to go to if you're planning to go to Tagaytay. Come really early so you can see the fog.

Must visit while is tagaytay - 1 hour is enough. Take the jeepney up, save your time and energy. Walking down leisurely is fine. There was alot of people on sunny Saturday, but you could still enjoy and keep your distance if you make an effort. Grounds aren't perfectly maintained, but it's not dangerous or dirty.

The view was very nice but the people should not forget the purpose why this mansion was built, and how many people was displaced during that time.

The panoramic view of Tagaytay City and the Taal Lake is magnificent. Though a little basic maintenance like painting jobs would make the place a bit more attractive

40pesos entrance fee + 10pesos jeepney going uphill. It was so chilly up there. You can see the fog as it thickens while it approaches the mountains beside our highest peak point. Also I loved the insects. There were a lot of spots perfect for your OOTDs.

It is indeed a Park in the sky as the horizon of the whole Tagaytay and further, will take your breath away while enjoying the cold breeze. Should you come during the day, the cruel sun will surely leave a tan on your skin. This does require some aerobic capability as you would have to be on foot going up the hill until you reach a flat ground and yet climb the stairs of a building that showcases the vast horizon. There is a nearby religious ground that also has stairs that lead you to a roofed area that offers the same view. The downside of all tourist spots, social distancing isnt strictly observed as this falls on the will of the visitors. Some took their masks off for facebook check ins and instagram stories. There are a few stores that sell drinks and snacks, pasalubongs are there too. Dont be surprised of the hiked price though. Parking is a nightmare especially for those in cars.

We have been here twice and our experience this early January was one of a kind. It's a rainy day full of clouds but the rain did not fall actually. We chose to trek the way up to the top enjoying the mists surrounding the whole place. If you are planning to go here and you have elders with you, do not worry because there are jeepneys available that can bring them to the "summit" which you can pay at around 40 pesos only for a one-way trip. And before I forgot, you only have to pay 30 pesos per person for the entrance fee.

  • 1/5 ENA F. 3 years ago on Google
I guess visiting to this place during pandemic is not too good esp on the weekend .Too much people visited.. whereas you have to pay entrance fee worth 30pesos and toilet fee for 10pesos without tissue. They have to put toilet paper in the c.r since they are collecting money. Pls. People pay to visit atleast u should do is to give a good service to visitors.

Ok... 4 stars only because I think a place that draws as much traffic as this place on weekends should be better maintained. You can see all of Tagaytay and Taal from here. The view was amazing. You can see the whole of Tagaytay, the old infrastructures, and the sari-sari stores where you can buy water & something to eat made the travel worth it. But, the number of people weren't controlled though.😐 I am not sure how many would visit the park pre-pandemic, but since we are still dealing with it, I think controlling people would avoid risking everyone from getting the virus. I also did not see any sign for social distancing which is a bit worrisome.

  • 5/5 Josh F. 2 years ago on Google
Place to be if you want to relax for a moment. Make sure to still follow covid protocols. Cons: there are fees for almost eveything. Rest rooms will cost you 10PHP. Entrance fee: 30PHP. If you're not into walking you may ride their jeepneys, with a fee. Not sure how much coz I walked going up. (a little exercise won't harm you). Overall it's a 5/5 for me. I disregarded the cons above because it's not that expensive. Still recommending this place for those who wants to escape from stress for a little while. Enjoy life and y'all take care and pray always. 🙏

We got there noon time and the weather is good. There's a 20pesos parking fee, there are also overlooking restaurants, and 30pesos some kind of entrance fee you can choose to ride a jeep which is 10pesos or walk for 500m to see the view

  • 4/5 Mc E. 1 year ago on Google
One of the best place to see the beauty of the city from above. You can the beauty of Tagaytay and the nearby cities as well as the Taal Volcano. The place was not just built for tourism but with purpose. It is also good to walk from the entrance rather than to ride the jeepney. It was just disappointing when you see the place not properly maintained. This place needs rehabilitation.

  • 5/5 El C. 1 year ago on Google
Located in Tagaytay city in the highlands Located about 2-2.5 hours from Manila metro, take a day trip here, and pay the jeepney ride to the top. You will be rewarded with one of the most unique and fantastic views not only in the phillipines but in the world. I am so satisfied coming from the usa to here. I bought some merchandise, a few hats from the local sellers. Mind blowing scenery and a very twisty road, but the most rewarding spectacular view

  • 3/5 G N. 1 year ago on Google
I just hoped that it had been maintained or restored and renovated. Where are the entrance fees going? I've been here 10 years ago.. and I was just disappointed. Algae and rust, signal towers.. not a good site to see now.

Well, you can choose to ride a jeepney or to walk on your way up. The ambiance on top was so refreshing. Their entrance ticket is too affordable, too.

  • 5/5 Rustam S. 1 year ago on Google
It's a beautiful place to chill out with someone or take in the fresh air. Or even view the active volcano from close range. The entry fee is quite cheap and for any foreigner you actually get public transit, if that comes in handy. Other than that, seats are scant and there is no cafeteria on the upper tier (please don't trust the posters that you see!). Other than that, I 💕 it.

  • 4/5 aR D. 1 year ago on Google
Place is so cool, like literally, with all those fogs and light rain from time to time. We managed to take some photos when the sun showed up for a minute or 2 😅 but unfortunately, didn't get the chance to take photos at the peak due to light rain 😔 but overall, the place is really good and should be on your itinerary when visiting Tagaytay 👍👍

Cool and relaxing place. Before you park you have to pay 23php.. And entrance of 30php. My suggestion is ride the jeep going up so you can enjoy the view. If try to walk going up you will not enjoy it remember it a mountain so the air is thin..

People's Park in the Sky: A Breathtaking Retreat Above the Clouds Perched on the summit of Mount Sungay in Tagaytay, Philippines, People's Park in the Sky stands as a testament to both natural beauty and historical significance. Ascending to the summit, I found myself immersed in a picturesque mountain landscape that seemed to stretch to the horizon. The crisp, cool air and sweeping panoramic views of the surrounding countryside were nothing short of breathtaking. People's Park in the Sky offers an escape from the bustling city below, inviting visitors to embrace tranquility and connect with nature's wonders. From various vantage points within the park, visitors are treated to breathtaking views that extend as far as the eye can see. On clear days, the sight of Taal Lake and the majestic Taal Volcano is simply awe-inspiring. Definitely an awesome place to stress out, 30 pesos for the entrance and not less than 50 pesos for the parking.

Another famous go-to spot for sightseeing in Tagaytay is People’s Park in the Sky presenting a wide view of the Taal volcano joined by the all-green Tagaytay Highlands. It also nurtures the experience of being almost eye-level with the clouds and free-flying birds. There's a massive statue of Jesus Christ which solemnly overlooks the whole place. At the viewing deck, tourists can rent binoculars for a closer look at the stunning Taal Volcano and the towns below. There are also a few diner and memento shops where you can stop over for snacks and trinkets to take home.

Beautiful view for sure. Second time up here after 2012. Pres. Marcos started the building of this place to accommodate Pres. Reagan. It was never finished. The problem is, that the place is poorly taken care, it's a monument of Marcos megalomaniac ambitions.

👍 Pet friendly church. However, you should be seated outdoors. This is a good place to unwind when you need physical, mental and spiritual rest. It is nice to sit outdoors as you can feel the cool winds of Tagaytay while attending the solemn holy mass. Parking is nearby and located inside the gates....
