Indeed the oldest churh in Calamba, Laguna. I hope the local government will will do something in taking care of the churh esecially the surroundings of the church. It needs maintenance to attract more tourist and especially devotees.

This historical church is famously known as the church where the Philippine National Hero Dr. Jose Rizal was baptized. It is also just beside his home.

Im not a catholic but i really admired the interior design of this church not to mention the amiable Priest who presided the wedding ceremony of my friend and the outstanding performance of the Soloist .. It was just magical as soon as the door slowly opened with the bride walking down the aisle.. It was just too much not be carried away.. The four of us bffs bridesmaid were all teary-eyed!

The church is very spacious both inside and outside. It is well ventilated inside the church as air flows naturally which is good. Many parking slot. They have a portion on the side of the church where you can lit a candle, but since it is windy, the flame won't last. There are ambulant stores outside where you can buy candles. They have an office which sells religious articles. Across the church is the birthplace of Dr. Jose Rizal. You can likewise pay a visit there.

I was surprised how long this church aisle is! haha! It's spacious, from both inside and outside. The staffs are approachable and accomodating. I would also commend how good their chorale, like I feel i was in heaven. It was a nice experience!!

Undetailed. They dont reserve more chairs for people like children, PWD, and Pregnant Women, the staffs dont give out seats, the visitors finds it, NOT the staffs.

Love the history of the place being Rizal's baptism church. For such an old church, maintenance has been done well. I just know how much of the original infrastructure has been preserved. Attended Mass here and the choir was amazing.

My friend had booked a wedding for Sept 3 months in advance. They didn't tell my friend that there was supposed to be construction going on the church. By the time we were supposed to have their wedding , about 75% of the church already had scaffolding on it :(

One of the best churches in the diocese of Laguna. The parking is spacious enough for cars during Sunday masses. The garden area was also extended to accommodate more people. It is a historic and old church where Dr. Jose Rizal was baptized in. Many people also choose it for wedding since it has a large door and long aisle, perfect for the bride's entrance. It also has a proper ventilation allowing cool air to flow especially on afternoons There's also a public restroom here.

😐 Based on my experience, resort still needs improvement as there are no blankets in the rooms so literally "bring your own blankets". I think this is the hassle for guests. I've been in many private resorts and blankets are mandatorily provided without the need to request for. But place is great and...
