Since 2013, scammers have continued to contact and send messages via SMS (not sure about email) to people they believe have won a free night's stay at this hotel. A marketing strategy to lure people to visit and checking in on their hotel. Unsure on this, just search the name of the hotel on the internet.

Stayed here for a 4 day seminar. The food ranges from OK to actually good though the menu was firmly "local". The first room cleaning was pretty good, fresh towels and everything. The second was not quite on the same level, since the room service left the new toilet paper roll on the toilet tank but didn't bother to install it in the holder. The service is otherwise acceptable bearing in mind that this isn't a 5 star hotel. I wouldn't comment on the room size since we we're triple sharing. Thus, we had three beds in a room that was designed for only two. I would commend the hotel for providing an actual, real bed and not some glorified folding bed that other hotels stoop to. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay specially with its proximity to a lot of interesting places in Tagaytay. I wouldn't mind checking in again out of my own pocket.

Our overall experience with One Tagaytay Place is satisfactory. Positives: The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and presentable and the pool was a decent size. Negatives: the room shower had very low pressure and rarely warm water, the pool had mold growing on its surrounding and the hotel policies were too strict (extra towels for the pool, borrowing an iron or any extra requests were an extra charge). Also, we were informed that if we accidentally stained anything, we would be charged.... dispute the fact there was no table and chairs to properly eat from.

One Tagaytay Place Hotel Suites is a nice hotel with excellent food and service. We had some medical emergency with my Partner at around 8 at night and the hotel was very prompt in arranging a nurse which was of real great help. I sincerely thank the hotel staff and to the Nurse. Room 509

Thank you for the free overnight voucher. You just have to attend an "exclusive" membership seminar (1-2 hours one-on-one) which I initially thought was an introduction to their hotel. They are a bit "pushy" selling their services. Reservation is transferrable though a dp of P1000 is required.

Very convenient location. Near restos and tourist attractions. Clean and classy rooms. Easy parking, most of the time, for staycation visitors. Only CON is no direct connection to the restos in front.

GOOD DAY! I WOULD LIKE TO SHARE MY FEEDBACK DURING OUR STAY IN OTP. WE STAYED HERE FROM DECEMBER 29 TO 30. OUR OVERALL EXPERIENCE WITH THIS HOTEL WAS EXCELLENT! 💯 ✔️THE HOTEL WAS SO CLEAN AND NICE. ✔️ IT IS VERY ACCESSIBLE TO CONVENIENCE STORE, OTHER SHOPS AND RESTAURANTS. ✔️THE STAFF, FROM THE SECURITY GUARDS, FRONT DESKS, MAINTENANCE, HOUSEKEEPING AND STAFF IN THE AMACENA WERE VERY ACCOMODATING. THEY WERE ALL SMILING AND VERY HELPFUL. → SPECIAL MENTION TO MS. TAMMIE WHO ATTENDED ALL OUR NEEDS FROM THE BOOKING PROCESS UNTIL WE ARRIVED AND CHECKED-OUT AT THE HOTEL. ✔️THE ROOM THAT WE STAYED AT THE THIRD FLOOR WAS VERY CLEAN, COMFORTABLE AND VERY RELAXING. IT HAS A TCL TV WITH NETFLIX AND GOOD INTERNET CONNECTION. ✔️THE ROOM HAS AMENITIES LIKE COMPLIMENTARY BOTTLED WATER AND COFFEE. IT ALSO HAS TOOTHBRUSH, TOWELS, SLIPPERS, SOAPS, AND BOXES OF COTTON BUDS. I LIKE THE SHOWER WHEREIN THE HOT AND COLD HEATER ARE WORKING WELL. ✔️THE FOOD-- THE BREAKFAST WAS TOTALLY FINE. ✔️THE PARKING, IT'S VERY NARROW. LUCKILY, WE JUST BROUGHT A SEDAN DURING OUR STAY. ✔️OUR CHECK-OUT TIME IS 12 IN THE AFTERNOON BUT THEY LET US STAYED UNTIL 12:30 WITHOUT EXTRA CHARGE. WE WILL DEFINITELY BOOK AND STAY HERE AGAIN AT ONE TAGAYTAY PLACE HOTEL SUITES. WE WILL ALSO RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO OUR FRIENDS AND RELATIVES WHO PLAN TO HAVE THEIR STAYCATION IN TAGAYTAY. THANK YOU VERY MUCH! ❤️❤️❤️

Good view of Taal but best feature was the connecting rooms. I was able to work with my team while keeping a good distance. Upside: Great promo/discounts; clean and classy rooms; great value for money, good location; fridge and electric kettle in the room; split type AC; roof deck pool Downside: Room's a little cramped, especially the desk/dresser by the foot of the bed; heard the restaurant food was great but they weren't open 24/7; would be awesome to have an ice maker and microwave in a place accessible to guests. Do we recommend it? Yes. Will be go back? Definitely.

No complaints on our stay, You just gave us a room besides a renovating room🤬 It's too noisy, drilling hammering Shouting of engineering employees. Maybe you can make the room a little soundproof. Front desk are good, they are helpful and kind. Security are also good Staff are all good. Parking need some changes Cocerns: Room needs to be upgraded to soundproof room Pool needs a security or a staff for those children that are playing on the pool. Hope to come back soon So see the changes Thank you

The overall room was nice, it was very comfortable, and there were cutleries available for us to use. Although, around midnight multiple cockroaches started to emerge and fly around the room and not only were there one cockroach but there was three of them. Would be nice for the hotel to properly clean the rooms.

Room fixtures are old and worn; rooms, over-all, need much better maintenance. Service is not primed for guest satisfaction. After 6 hours, with an attempt to repair in between, the air-conditioning in my room still was not working properly. At 8pm, instead of transferring me to a room with functional air-conditioner, the front desk insisted on sending in a utility person again, which meant I still could not settle down and rest comfortably. When I requested for a more immediate solution, the front desk staff said he had to ask the manager. What? Front desk can't decide on these matters? Thankfully the manager approved the room transfer. Just as I was about to settle down in my new room, a room cleaner rung the bell to ask to remove the hand towel from the bathroom, because, apparently, my group's booking did not include such amenity. What? How can the hotel could be so strict about a hand towel, and yet could not ensure air-conditioning works well and fixtures are in good shape in all rooms?

Service was ok. however, the crew failed to mention that if you accidentally stain the sheets/towel, you are obliged to pay. and if you did do such thing, they will REFUSE to provide any quotation or supporting document regarding the price of the item.

The hotel is clean and good but the lift was not working during our stay so we need to take the stairs.

I came in for a workshop on 31 May 2023. There were around 100 attendees then. The food and service was good. The meals were well-prepared and tasted surprisingly good. However, since this was a serviced buffet, presentation took a huge hit. There was only one working elevator at this time. Given the number of guests, this should have been remedied either by expediting the fix or implementing workarounds. Another issue was parking. There are two parking areas: outdoor and basement. The outdoor parking was not paved and had significant overgrowth of grass/weeds. Access to the basement was limited. Coming from the main entrance, it was hard for a sedan to negotiate/clear the very narrow access path.

I Went there With my relatives from germany for a week in January 2023 and we left voluntarily after 4 days. The hotel is showing its age, the beds are motel quality and the furniture is broken and scratched. My husband was offered meals at the complementary breakfast which he was asked to pay for without being informed in advance. We had to pay for an extra towel for our baby. the housekeeping tries hard, but cleans very badly. I am appalled at what has become of the hotel, it seems as if they just let it fall into disrepair and rip off money for every little thing they can. we won't be back, it's not a nice hotel anymore and I won't recommend it to anyone. Sorry cause it used to be nice but we left With such a bad feeling during our vacation there . I still cant believe that the management surely knows all about This issues but they seem not to Care.

It was an agoda booking. Its actually cheaper than the hotel rate. But the service is the same as hotel service. They also have massage which is sooo relaxing @702 pesos only.

Booked it on agoda 2. Price is extremely reasonable super saver promotion 2k for 2 twin deluxe room. Upon checking in, one of us were given 1 bedroom suite due to no more twin room available. I guess its an upgrade. So thanks for that. I love the ambience here, everybody is so polite from the security guard, receptionist, bellboy and housekeeping staffs. They amazed me with the fast process, polite, warm greeting and we were given delicious welcome drink. I didn't expect too much when i booked here. Then i saw the room yes it is basic but it is clean, no foul smell, CR was okay, hot water running smoothly eventhough the pressure is not to big but acceptable. TV is tcl brand with netflix and good internet. Room has the amenities like toothbrush, towel and slipper. Room temperature is very cold and comfortable with the aircond always on and i love it. It was my pleasure to stay here and made right decision to book here. I will come back again if i can get that price, and also will recommend to my friends and family back in manila about how great this hotel is. Cons: 1.elevator need upgrade. Have 2 elevator but only 1 is working. Only 4 people can fit. So the waiting time is very long for the elevator that i took stair from 6th floor to grounf floor and I'm pregnant. Maybe try to improve on that 2. Room got no handtowel and floor towel, after shower all the floor gotten wet 3. No place to hang the towel or anything after shower. So we just leave our towels on the sofa 4. Got a terrace/veranda but no chair to sit 5. Very narrow parking space Overall i still think is a good stay consider the budget price. I just hope the hotel will make the improvement to the elevator and hopefully the room.

Date of check in Feb 26, 2022. NOT NOT NOT Recommended. Checked in at front office at 2PM but we were able to go up to our room at 4:10PM. We were very disappointed since we were with our senior citizen parents. On top of that: 1. Wifi was down until late evening. I understand that there are times we experience this, however, as a 4 star hotel they should have a back up internet provider or they must have at least a separate cable connection. Their TV only have Netflix and other apps such us youtube, amazon prime etc, which is only accessible if the wifi is working. Imagine staying in a room with no wifi and/or cable on a 4 star hotel. Literally nothing to do if you do not have your own data or pocket wifi. 2. Room has a foul smell when we first entered, smell of a rag/mop which was not washed and dried properly. 3. Called housekeeping to borrow a hair blower, they answered “the blower is being used by other guest.” - done! They didn't even bother to tell us that they will check if its already available or what. Like what the? 4. Sliding door to our terrace was so hard to open. Ends up our parents couldn't use our terrace to enjoy Tagaytay weather. 5. Food and beverage choices from their resto was very limited. I wonder how they got the 4 star rating. 2-3 star hotels or Inns that we have tried are way much better than One Tagaytay. Our expected relaxing staycation for our Mom’s birthday turned out to be a little stressful. I hope the management will improve.

We had one of those small rooms with a layout that's well-optimized because it feels spacious despite the size. The balcony has a nice view. It's also in that part of the area that isn't congested, plus there are plenty of walkable convenience shops nearby. We just encountered a bit of a problem with the bathroom exhaust (it wasn't working, good thing that the ventilation is OK), and the electric kettle also wasn't working. But the maintenance people were easy to call and were very responsive. Bathroom layout is good, has bidet. Breakfast is also OK, but needs some fruits for balance as everything is fried. Check-in and checkout were smooth. Parking in the basement will be a bit of a challenge if you own a big car.

Food was not that great, but passable nonetheless. The parking has a steep ramp and was quite cramped. The staff was nice but definitely not 5 star. The room is what you expect from a 3-4 star hotel.

We were not able to check in on time. Manager was not very helpful about it. She was not gracious or warm towards us considering she should have made us more comfortable during the wait for the room to he available. Front office desk people are not friendly and accommodating, they should be trained more. Room is ok,but for two rooms we were expecting two cabinets as well. However, only one room has one and the other "bedroom" has none. Induction stove was not working so why put one there? Window blinds are not working as well. One bathroom has a constant leak. Since our first encounter with the manager,we did not bother anymore to report the leaking bathroom since she was not really helpful when we first arrived. We just charged it to experience and if ever we will come back to Tagaytay we will not ever consider One Tagaytay Place again. Some of the good things there are the bellboys who was more apologetic and welcoming to us. The waiters and dining staff during the breakfast buffets were also nice and made sure our needs were immediately met.

Place is clean. Staff is courteous and helpful. Breakfast buffet choices could be better but food is good. Real value for the price. 8 out of 10 would return here.

Im an ofw who stayed here. My complain is about the 2 room boy who took my 100 pesos instead of loading my mobile phone.this guys taking advantage of the ofw who stayed for quarantine.

Great for an OFW quarantine facility with a really nice view in my room. Hotel staff are courteous and always willing to help in doing errands for quarantined OFWs. Of course the staff also practices social distancing and safety protocols while communicating with OFWs.

We had a short stay in this hotel due to its proximity to Tagaytay Highlands where we were attending a wedding. The area around the hotel is quite remote and dark at night but there is a 711 store at the front of the hotel, which is really convenient. The room we stayed in was just right in size, but I personally believe that the hotel is in dire need of renovation. Wallpapers are peeling and stained. Bathroom was smelly, probably due to plumbing/ sewer. No amount of cleaning by the courteous housekeeping personnel eliminated the smell. I think the hotel has seen its glory days. The breakfast meal was good despite not being a buffet. Overall, our stay was satisfactory. I just wish that the pictures on the website were more realistic/ accurate and the bathroom did not smell so bad.
