The place is situated near the market place yet it has a great view. Unfortunately, the rooms were no longer updated and will definitely need some fixing. This is a perfect example of getting what you pay for since the room per night is quite cheap. This place is good for travelers that needs a place to stay for the night.

Booked here because of its great location and amazing view. The hallways and common (couch) areas are peaceful and clean. There's free wifi even in their common veranda where guests can sit back and relax. The only thing to improve perhaps would be their parking spaces: they only have the open parking along the highway (quite unsafe at night) and the shared covered garage at the back -- where cars are double parked and can be quite a hassle when someone needs to leave earlier than you. Oh and please provide a water heater in your showers. Highly recommended though. ;)

-Not so good Inn, unlike other affordable Inn -Few staffs -Dirty Floors -Don't deceived by the website that says it's sanitize and clean, bring your own alcohol and sanitize it again -Not so safe to stay in because the sliding door on our balcony isn't closing -No food available here *Accommodating front desk *Nice view outside

We had a hard time looking for the place though there is a big signage but the people are not familiar with The Ridge name. We arrived before lunch but we are told that we can only check in at exactly 2pm. I did not argue since i requested for early check-in so what we did is to take our lunch nearby and went back around 1pm and i asked if possible to check in since its already past 1pm and im sure that the room is already vacant since it is already been paid online. As usual, just like other Red Doorz i stayed, its clean and smells good. Do not expect a nice view from the room but u can get it outside the hotel.

Room is clean. But they don't have slippers that guests can use. Toiletries pack lack bath soap. And no phone signal since the rooms are located in the lower ground floor. But the rest is ok. There is WiFi, TV with regular channels. Highly recommended if you are looking for a place to stay overnight and on a budget.

The only problem here is reddoorz change the name of the hotel from THE ECONO HOTEL to Reddoorz The Ridge Hotel (new name). So locals not familiar when u ask them. But surely when u said ECONO HOTEL they know the properties location.

A bit far from the center of town but manageable since all of Tagaytay is accessible via tuk-tuk ride.

The hotel is not a fancy one. AT Red doors you can get this room at a very affordable price. The place is very good. Accessible and cool. Need to bring your own coffee and something to eat since there's no resto in the hotel. Though you can get something to eat right across the street. This is a good budget hotel.

The rooms were ok and there is hot water in the showers. They have a veranda with a view that I loved very much to spend time talking and eating. They dont offer bfast and you have to pay cash even if you booked with Agoda, that was inconvenient. But it is near to Andoks and 7-11 so you can buy food and other stuff. There is also tapsihan that is 24/7 if you ever felt hungry. Good price for an overnight stay. The parking is at the back. The fresh air and view is worth it.

The staff are all good 😊 I requested a room with window and they give it to without any hesitation and without any additional charges. The room is clean and very spacious, but it’s not updated I think they need fix some in the room. There is also a heater in the shower room. But the problem is the AC the water is leaking inside the room. And also the amenities is only good for 1 person. I suggest to bring your own soap and shampoo also a toothpaste. The place is good because it’s near in the tourist spots, near in the market and convenience store. We loved our room spot because from our room we can see the Taal Lake view πŸ’•β›° and we also enjoyed our stay β€οΈπŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘¦

Poor service. Strong Downy smell everywhere but you can see that rooms and facilities need serious cleaning. Halls are poorly lit, too. Parking attendants are a little pushy and don't know what they're doing.

The rooms are fine just some dust on the closet. It's clean aside from that. It should be a perfect rating for me. However, it so happened that the heater assigned to our room is not working. But overall my entire life, its the only hotel room that satisfied me & my family. All the imperfections is just minimal compare to its benefits.

The room is good and clean. It's only noisy hearing vehicles sound the whole stay. Put more soundproof for quiet and relaxing ambience.

Room is ok. You get what you pay for. Staff is courteous and accomodating. Looking for place to eat is a challenge. Not a lot of food options.

No internet. Towel took too long. Floor was sticky, and towels seemed thin. The hotel has the potential to be tons better, given its location. Just don't stay here if you have work to be done.

Good for accommodations but lacks F&B so you need to go out and buys food. Love the view of Taal Lake. I guess that's what you pay for.

Super cheap compared to other hotel in the area. If you need a cozzy place to sleep while in Tagaytay, this is the best deal you can get! Also staffs are so kind. Five pop points!

I like how simple the room is. It was generously spacious for two people to live like married couple. I love that they have a view deck to see Taal and we cuddled there romantically. I just loved the whole experience.
