Terrible experience with the hotel. We booked for 2nites to spend wedding Anniversary at the Hotel we ended up cancelling the 2nd nite. Reasons: 1.They sent me email about dining and romantic packages and we can avail via Qr code. Upon arrival front desk told us restaurants are closed, no ala carte menu. They will be serving breaksfast only(not even all day brekky), and only 3 choices. There is no restaurants in walking distance to the hotel. Most restaurants closes at 6pm as mandated by city goverment due to covid. The road to the hotel is narrow and no streetlights,so driving at nite is a hassle, beside our plan is to stay in the hotel and avail of their dining experience. The staff handed me brochures fr Max, Shakeys and Yellowcab Pizza. Our anniversary dinner turned to fastfood dinner. 2. No internet. They cancelled their internet during lockdown and request reconnection and still internet is not available yet. I'm using my mobile data, no signal in the room, none at reception area, very weak outside. Cellphone services is also very weak. 3. Hotel transport not available, front desk said vehicle is under repair. 4. I requested cancellation of 2nd nite, they told me to message Agoda for the cancellation, how???? No internet!!!!!!. They called reservation office in Manila and they informed Agoda that I want cancel the 2nd nite but need confirmation by me through site soon if possible(no internet how?). We checked out early, the front desk did not even ask if we want to avail breakfast which was included in our room package(though we dont have plans of eating brekky there bec of all the dilemma). The hotel staff and reservation office knows that Hotel is not ready yet. They deceived us, and ruined our Anniversary😤. ..

Nice boutique hotel. The view is great but you actually don't see the main volcano islands. Still an amazing view though. The shower switches were broken so that was a hassle. Staff is great. If food is based on breakfast, it's not so good. The breakfast was basically 3 spoonfuls only. Hehe.

Not impressed by the service. They kept telling us that we only paid for two people even though we paid for a family of 4 via Airbnb. When we arrived, they seem not knowing what we booked and rushed to get our tent ready. My first ever glamorous camping, supposed to be glamorous, but I didn't feel that way at all. The tent was simply decorated, with fake plants put in between mattresses which is in your way of doing everything. They only provided 2 of everything, we had to keep asking for another 2 sets. Bonfire was good with marshmallows. The staff put a few logs in and lighted, gave us a pack of marshmallows and biscuits then left. I felt it would be better experience if they stayed and made sure the fire was properly maintained, showed us/kids how to roast the marshmallows as it was very windy night, quite hard for us to keep the fire. Breakfast was included, you have to put your order through when you check in. They did ask for bacon or ham for kids' pancakes but didn't write down who would have what and the bacon never appeared 🤣 Overall, I didn't enjoy my first glamping, neither the tent nor food. Didn't mention it was cold and there was no sheets on our beds, only rough blankets. The lights outside (near bathrooms) were on all night, we asked to turn off the light behind our tent. So if you're a light sleeper, can't sleep with light on, this is not your choice! Sunrise was quite spectacular though! Oh, if you're a first timer here, don't recommend order food via grab as it's expensive and not many choices. 5min drive to crosswinds would be way better.

Very nice place, although a bit pricey. You get a magnificent view of the lake right from your suite room. Breakfast was delicious. Internet speed was sufficient. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room and bedding was clean. Aside from the view, I really enjoyed the bathtub.

Not accessible at all, so don't come here if don't have a car. The food selection is also limited (most menu unavailable) and pricey, so it's better to eat / buy food from outside. But if you do have a car, it's a good place to unwind and detox. The room is big and there's a hot tub. There's no room wifi, but there is wifi at the lobby which is fairly fast. You can see the fog lifting and rolling after sunrise. However, taal itself isn't visible from the place, only the lake.

This is a small hotel with 10 Rooms, layout is nice and hotel is clean. The staff are friendly. When your car arrived the hotel staff will meet you and assist you from parking the car to the hotel receptionist. Room are big, amenities are standard, the place is quite but you have a very good view of the taal lake. It is located on the mountain, so you have a very good views. Going to this place there is a section of the road that is narrow and gravel, but short only just before reaching the hotel. There is a Paid driver quarter which is also convenient if you bring a driver with you.

During our stay at 8 suites, I was incredibly disappointed. We had booked a room with a great view of the Taal lake, but that's not what we got. I kept calling their customer service number because of an issue with Agoda, but no one ever answered, even on email. When we arrived at the room it looked unkempt and neglected; there was dust all around the room and furniture, and the curtains were in desperate need of replacement. Worst of all, there was no hot water for us to shower in - something that we weren't warned about beforehand. Since we were staying in their Garden View Room, our door could not be locked properly which caused us some security concerns. All in all, this experience turned out to be a complete disaster which left me feeling frustrated and let down after having invested so much money for such sub par service.

A little dated, yet pricey. Ideal if you want peace and quiet away from the bustle of the city. You should have a car otherwise it will be inconvenient.

Pros: located at the client part of Tagaytay. Staff were all pleasant. View from the room’s great. Room is large and bed comfortable. Walking path outside the hotel’s good for exercise. Cons: Wifi wasn’t working and signal of LTE is not strong in the room, so best to use the wifi at lobby. Get food as takeaway as not all in their menu is available at this time.

I really loved our stay here. We have stayed only for overnight but the experience is amazing. The weather is so cold around 22°C and we are staying on a camp called glamping camp as it looks glamorous compared to any ordinary tent. The camp site is overlooking the taal lake and surrounded with the beautiful bliss of nature. It is a bit far from the usual crowded places of Tagaytay which makes it a little bit of romantic. We had a bonfire around 7 pm. The bonfire is safe as it is placed inside a big clay pot. I would really love to recommend this place for new kind of experience...

The location of the hotel is a bit far that you probably need to drive a car. Probably 20 minutes of drive from the huge round about in the city. But the road is extremely dark at night. There are security guards in the hotel so that you don’t need to worry about anything despite it’s a bit far from the centre. The room is extremely clean with nice view to the lake and volcano. Mountain with lots of grass is the only thing below the balcony. You can also enjoy sunset in the room because of the huge window. You can so enjoy the view while enjoying the bathtub. Free breakfast of filipino style or western style is provided. It’s as good as you can get in restaurant. There are few stray dogs in front of the hotel but they are very nice.

Amazing views, very friendly staff great location. The rooms could use some updating and maintenance, but nothing that would discourage staying there.

Pretty comfy all around, and the staff is very accommodating and friendly. Water pressure and heating could be better though.

Better late than never….. Stayed at 8 Suites, Tagaytay in February 2023. I cracked open the sliding back door to get some fresh air. I experienced the morning fog that accompanied me in my room. Life's beautiful moments often unfold in the midst of the morning fog is all I can think of ... a piece of heaven is what I thought of staying in this hotel. The view of the rolling hills is a scene you should consider for your selfies. I am from Martha’s Vineyard an island of the Cape Cod coast of Massachusetts that surely appreciates sceneries and experience the view at 8 Suites. I will definitely consider staying here again when in the Philippines. Excellent room layout and cleanliness is above expectation, very safe location, very quiet. Service excellence is noticeable!!!!

😠 Nature Discovery Camp isn't ideal for camping. No great views, obvious lack of maintenance. At a total of 2,300 for two persons its alr...
