Excellent Caramel Macchiato with good service. Nice view of Ta'al Volcano and Lake from the upper terrace. Met friends from the Coffee Club here.

Photos credit to Starbucks Philippines Official Page. Can't wait to visit Tagaytay and have a glimpse of this beautiful, classy and elegant Starbucks branch. Surely a haven for coffee lovers who wish to have a sip of coffee right in front of Mt. Taal.

It is “A Destination” because of its Architecture and interior design. Comfortable furniture that you would feel you are in a 5 star hotel lobby. A picture perfect in every corner, inside and out. The Interior elements frame Taal Volcano in ultra magnificent scenic way. You would want to stay the whole day, but unfortunately, the max stay is only 2 hours. But wait there is a loop hole tho; They can only fine the overstaying through parking fee. I guess you’re good if you did not drive (or maybe park elsewhere). The food and coffee? Nothing special anymore if you are a cafe goer, only pricier than the normal Starbs out there. The best time to go would be weekday morning. I could not imagine how long you would have to queue during weekends and heydays.

Staff were friendly. Food and drinks are your typical Starbucks quality. I just wish they do could something about the old building at the back of their establishment - it is an eye sore for the supposed amazing view of taal.

Just tried it out of curiosity after seeing bunch of shares on social media. Place was greatly renovated and much different on any brunch I've been on PH and here on South. This branch is perfect specially when there's less crowd. Would not suggest to go there this week or the next one even on weekends, line queuing hits diff.. for sure you don't want to wait on the line outside the gates while the weather is hot nor it's raining hard like the others earlier, it's like a line in a blockbuster movie but you'll wait on outdoors.

Globe dead spot. We can't even redeem our planner because we can't make 4G and the Starbucks app work inside the store. Upside: Staff are professional and friendly; there were lots of parking space; Staff sanitizes tables after every customer. Downside: Ground floor outdoor seating area was closed; second floor outdoor seating was full; Couldn't enjoy the view as much.

What time is coffee time? Well all the time really! But especially in the morning. So Starbucks why open at 8am. I cant function without caffine! The coffee is good the service is good. But please open earlier so that i dont keep walking in to walls until 8am!

Not so pleasant unlike before. It was crowded, it cannot accommodate all dine in customers. No internet signal. You need a lot of patience for keep waiting in line before you can use the toilet (not so clean). The food and the barista is great thou.

  • 4/5 Hydr A. 9 months ago on Google
Place was newly renovated and the lines keep getting longer. Do pack a lot of patience when going here. As there will be a long line ahead of you.

  • 1/5 Lawrence A. 3 years ago on Google
Not your ideal Starbucks. While view is good, place is just like a house with round tables and wooden chairs. Disorganized queue. A bit unkempt for the Starbucks branch. And no restroom?! Are you kidding me? Coffee is a diuretic, ICYMI.

Place is overlooking the volcano, parking is fairly vacant since its the only establishmentnin the area.

  • 3/5 BJVC 2 years ago on Google
Has a great view of Taal lake and volcano. But since it becomes too popular for having a great view it easily get overcrowded. Drink choices are limited since most are unavailable due to many orders. It probably needs expansion. The viewing deck also needs rehabilitation.

What's better than having coffee while enjoying a nice weather with a good view? This branch has two floors but we opted to stay on the outside seating of the ground floor. It was nice.

  • 4/5 Quins Uy G. 1 year ago on Google
Old and rustic, this Starbucks coffee branch in Tagaytay is one of the very first to set up shop back in the early 2000s. People flock here for the best cafe ambiance in town and one that offers a view while taking a daily fix of caffeine. It’s a nostalgic location.

One of the best place to stay. Cozy and quiet, definitely relaxing. Usually gets crowded especially at weekends and at late night. Baristas are friendly and polite.

  • 3/5 Linvega 2 years ago on Google
We went here at night so, I'm not so sure about the view. As usual the place is swarming with people but the staff are friendly and very helpful, they take orders in advance when the lines get long, the only downside is that the place is not well-maintained, so don't expect a luxury experience. The comfort room is dirty and don't have tissues. Maybe they're understaffed.

  • 2/5 Kleintson D. 2 years ago on Google
Not Friendly to Take out customers. No Paper Bag. Hassle.

  • 4/5 Shomer F. 4 months ago on Google
You have to wait to be catered. Starbucks Reserved Hiraya has a long line so come early if you want to enjoy the view in perfect spots. Beautiful view of Taal Lake and Taal Volcano. Same taste of coffees and cakes in your local SB. The service is just okay. You just need to ask again for other services like asking again for tissues or straw unlike other branches which are always served with tissue or straw. The comfort rooms must always check and be cleaned.

Oh, I highly recommend you visit this branch on a not very busy day because the line can get crazy once it hits peak hours. But the wait is worth it. The place is gorgeous and clean and amazing. The service is nice and their exclusive coffee is really lovely! The best seats can get tricky to have but, again, be strategic. I suggest going here by a couple so they can find seats while you fall in line to order lol. Must visit the location for sure!

  • 5/5 Kristian Paul L. 5 months ago on Google
Starbucks consistently delivers a delightful coffee experience. The ambiance is cozy, the staff is friendly, and their extensive menu offers something for every taste. My go-to spot for quality coffee and a comfortable environment. Be prepared to wait in line for 1-2hrs - it gets crazy over the weekend.

  • 4/5 eng q. 4 months ago on Google
It's a fresh new feel if you want to experience the gorgeous unblock view of the Taal lake with your friends, and family while enjoying the Starbucks coffee. The only downside will be the parking and the waiting time which you will need to endure before enjoyment.

  • 1/5 Ernest A. 4 months ago on Google
Ambiance, food, and service were nice. One thing that irks me is that they have a 2-hr time limit of stay. If you go over the limit, there's a 300-peso charge per excess hour. I understand this policy was placed to accommodate all patrons so its not a go-to spot for long stays. Another observation is that they have a communal washroom and it's FKN UNSANITARY. They should have a frequent routine clean up. Other than that, its a nice place to relax and bond with friends and family.. just don't use the washrooms.

  • 5/5 Floyser R. 4 months ago on Google
Amazing place to visit for a cup of coffee and a quick bite. The reserve exclusive coffee they offer is amazing and definitely has a higher quality taste at presentation wise than their regular coffee menu. I would highly recommend their Hiraya Latte and their Strawberry Malt for non caffeinated drinks. The Hiraya Latte closely resembles their White Chocolate Mocha but has a deeper and sweeter taste plus their sweetened foam boosts the taste, I would recommend getting it hot. Their strawberry malt is sweeter and thicker since it contains ice cream. The aesthetic is through the roof, lucky that the owner managed to get the amazing position and architecture to show off Taal. The view is amazing and the atmosphere feels luxurious. The service is adequate and there are plenty of smiles from the staff. For the wait time, it could be better but as it stands it is definitely a lot better than before. Taking into account the hype already boggled down and their optimized time limit of 2 hours it definitely is a lot better. Overall it is a must visit when in Tagaytay, as it has a great view and aesthetic for visitors alike.

Arrived at 5:55AM on a Saturday morning to join the hype! Parking queue was already long. It says that it opens 6AM but the parking attendant opened it at around 6:08 AM. The kuya who was giving parking tickets was selective based if they were alone or of it looks like wala silang car! Ugh! Very discriminating! He also mentioned wrong info about the queue and where to pay! Forgot to take his name sa sobrang nakakainis! VERY POOR SIGNAL TO NONE! Please put a signal booster! We cannot communicate with our companion to get their order! And also, can we limit the people who queue to cashier? Isang buong family yun nakapila when the rest should really be sitting and waiting for their order. This can be fixex by having good signal plus more menu cards! I got there and queued around 6:12. Finished ordering and had my parking ticket stamped 7AM. Good thing the Hiraya cofee was good! Kung hindi ekis talaga for the very poor and long wait time!

One of my favorite starbucks branch! It is a two floor branch with a nice view of Taal. It's open till late midnight so we usually go here after our chill night out.

Love the very scenic framed view from the high ceiling & spacious interior to the descending al fresco set up on the hillside. We went here to have a good view of sunrise, BUT the store is implementing a STRICT 6am entry for vehicles. So we had to wait after arriving at 5:30 am. Unfortunately, we had to spend sunrise inside the car. By 6:10 a.m., there was a really long queue of cars because we still weren't allowed inside that morning of July 22, 2023. And when finally we got in, our car was 5th in line, to our surprise, there were already around a hundred people lined up at the store entrance stairs. Everyone wanted to be part of the few firsts who would post pics about the store since it just opened July 19, 2023. Once inside, there is still a long line before you could order. I wish they'd allow entry of people and vehicles as early as 5am. Or, why not open at 5 am when you know a lot wanted to do the same thing? I mean, have breakfast at SB and watch the sunrise while having coffee, pastries, or breakfast? Don't the owners want additional hours of profit and satisfied customers? I was at first worried that we won't find seats due to the crowd. BUT WAIT, the store thought of a brilliant strategy to make people stay only 2 hours after paying at the cashier. It's FREE parking for the 1st 2 hours, but an hour in excess is P300 parking fee! So we finally got to order at 7:30am and stayed til 9:30am, just enough time for coffee, pastries and photo opps! We were also able to secure couch for 5pax; one just needs to make sure that while someone is lined up and paying, the rest of your companions are actively looking for about to be vacated couches/chairs. The view is worth the hassle and wait! There's also a public CR at the parking entrance (for those who line up outside and couldn't wait any longer to get in - coz they won't let you in til it's your turn). I gave a solid 5 stars, too, because my friend left his sling bag and only realized it after we had lunch in another restaurant. When we came back at past 12pm, he was able to redeem it back as a guard found it in our couch and surrendered in their office. My friend told me there were also other items left by other customers so PLEASE take care of your belongings - basic! 😀 Have fun! Coz we did!

Should visit atleast once in day and once at night ,nice place to view the Taal volcano at day time, nice place to hangout with friends and family.

A small alternate SB in Tagaytay. Shop is OK but can get very noisy since its beside a resto bar with live bands. Dont expect to have view of Taal as well as it is blocked by another resto. Really an ideal spot for grab and go of SB drinks.

  • 4/5 Chubs For F. 1 year ago on Google
Good spot to hangout at night with the usual coldness of Tagaytay parking was ample and easily located along nasugbu highway. We ordered hot coffee cinnamon bread and croissant

  • 5/5 クリステル 1 year ago on Google
This was the first Starbucks that I've been to since I was in middle school and still it has a good ambience and quality drinks. If you want to have a taste of Tagaytay weather, while having a sip of hot drinks, then you must definitely try this Starbucks branch. Recently, I tried their Strawberry Lemonade Cheesecake and I must say it was good, not sweet and a perfect pair of coffee/hot chocolate. The branch has second floor, which is an open area but if you're not fond of cool breeze, then try their ground floor and have a smell of freshly brewed coffee. Their parking area was large, and they accept credit/debit card and gift certificate as payment.

I love the place cozy, spacious and has an outside deck where you can hang out and enjoy the view. The thing is since the place has a long que before you can enter, it took us I think 1-2hrs. I think this is there norms even on dayshift weekdays but the worse would be on a weekend. Spacious parking space. If you are not in a hurry and has patience. This is the place for you 😅🤣 but I would definitely come back here again 🫰👌☕️

(Translated by Google) Starbucks overlooking Lake Taal. The parking lot is large, and tourists to this area where most of the transportation is possible by car are also safe. However, on Saturdays and Sundays, there are customers who fill the parking lot. It is natural that Tagaytay is crowded on Saturdays and Sundays, but it is a bit disappointing. However, the interior is large and there are many seats.

As much as you want to support businesses, it’s difficult to support a disorganized one. This branch does not have proper queuing system to ensure social distancing. My friend and I stayed outside because we were waiting for the guard to let us come in. He already saw us after he let in a big group of people ahead of us. But a few minutes after a group just entered the establishment without being mindful if people are waiting outside. The guard was also not mindful of making sure that this doesn’t happen. When I pointed this out, he just told us to come in. We left. Not worth the trouble. I think your establishment should have more people minding the door like in the other branches and establishments.
