Cheated my family many times on custom entries! Finally I got fed up with wasting so much money and I confronted them about it. Made them send me breakdowns of their charges which they don't provide the recipient with (they just extort the total amount or you don't get your parcel!!!) and found they were grossly overcharging my family. When confronted, they admitted that they did not accept the prices I paid for the products from iHerb because they were (in their opinion) too cheap. So they google.... yes google and find higher prices (you would think they would check iHerb site right? no!) and use those as the basis for their calculations. They must be getting a commission on taxes and duties collected because they made me provide copies of invoices and bank statements and then finally said they will accept the invoice prices next time!!!! Seriously? This company in the Philippines is such a joke and giving the global DHL a bad name!

They were asking me to pay php5600+ charges at first for 1 PIECE of jewelry that is not even brand bew. Of course I complained about the charges but eventually agreed to pay since as per representative, that is required to secure clearance from BOC. Guess what,? Instead of reducing the charges they added 4000 for the excise tax so I emailed the one in-charge and made constant follow up thru their hotline but got no response. I ended up visiting their HO and paid the php10,300 to be able to claim the item. Sana po mabusog ng mga unjust charges ang mga pamilya nyo.

Scammers, purposely stopping every package even if it is not subject to importation fees. Will make you wait weeks before you finally give in and travel to them and demand your item, 30mins is all it takes when you twist their arm!! BEWARE! DHL Express has a reputation for being extremely corrupt and i suspect they will delay you until you don't want your package anymore and they will steal it! I've heard many stories!

DHL makati is overpriced than other branch. Specially that tomboy staff there,omg! She's a scammer.

DHL Philippines offers by far the most unprofessional service in the world. Incapable employees, unanswered inquiries, weeks of waiting, overpriced prices for miserable service. DHL Germany should give serious thought to its branch in the Philippines.

They held my mail in Manila for 3 weeks without contacting anyone of us, ever though the address was correct. Funny thing, its still there. When we try to contact them we were given no definant answer. DHL in general runs on a very inefficient system and charge prices unheard of. Probably by far the worst mail courrier companies out there. Until they can get thier company together, you've lost a customer

So I made two purchase on Amazon , I am prime there yet I was charged 30 Euro each for shipping , Which is ok since am at Philippines at the moment, They chose dhl which is super bad, I made two orders for HDD for my laptop , I got call from DHL that I need permit for the first HDD , they didn't know about my second identical order, They sent me email how to get permit, with note in end that am forced to pay storage fees of min 10$ each kg for day, they want 2$ to process the payment too and maybe customs charge. Guess what I received the second shipment without applying for permit or any charges. It is new hard drive not sure why I need permit for that from obm agency in Phil. How did I receive the second one, I called them and there was no clear answer , if am not in need I would return and advise Amazon to send through FedEx! Please choose another shipping company , you will save more, you will have bad time with them and payments everywhere (legal thieft).

Are you staying in the Philippines and planning using this DHL service in the Philippines??? Then plz forget it. This courier service company doesn't deliver your important items on time ever. Your will be the one who keep chasing changed time and their schedule cause they never update you ever. The website show you expected date though, forget about it. They never get it on that day. Their promised date or day never works for you. Plz, the courier service company is not operating for proper delivery service, what it can be expected for?????

everyone pls be careful to use this delivery service, they gonna trap you on many fee before they ship you an order.

Not planning to even give a star if I can do so as this is the worst experience I had with DHL by far and is going to be the first and last time using it. Shipped a parcel of premium skincare products that probably add up to quite alot from my suppliers to php family usage but they request like a license from me and huge amount of tax to be paid to them and this whole issue just keep bouncing forward and backwards till the receiver is fed up and we concluded to send it back to singapore instead and I have been chasing for 2 mths without getting a reply. Called today again and I was told that my parcel has been dumped to the abandoned dept due to no news from my side for 30 days and asked me to get a law letter from the lawyer office in order to retrieve it from the abandoned dept. Excuse me? Is your unprofessional employees who does not reply to any of the emails that led to this. And the operator claimed that the person in charge was on leave therefore there wasn't any reply. Come on, on leave for 2 mths? Sure but at least do an auto reply email that I can look for an alternative and plus every of the emails have cced 5 depts. Are all 5 depts on leave for 2 mths as well? RIDICULOUS.

Was informed they're open 24 hours. Tried to handover a parcel for delivery at 3pm. Was informed they're closed at 2pm.

Great International service from Philippines to Mainland China. I would use them again.

DHL is trap logistic company they claim for extra fee whatever they want without the explanation, if you dont pay that fee you not gonna get your order. My order is $600 and they claim $300 of the tax fee.

Good Morning! I just want to express my deepest discouragement on your service . Waybill No.843979212 . Where is the item ? Picked up by last Thursday , and I've been following up since Monday . Until now no item arrived in Butuan . The item was not too heavy to cause overloading. Last Update on Cebu Branch , the item is in Manila , and that supposedly the item arrived yesterday , until now no arrival and imagine two planes arrived in Butuan, but ours not included ? No Action?

I would like to thank DHL team for fast and safe delivering of my package in the Philippines. There was some hiccups along the way, but all together it was a smooth transaction. Even though raised my voice, the people that I talked to are calm and compose. These is my first time sending parcel using DHL. Would do it again next time.
