Their Shrimp Chahan priced at PHP260 and is labeled in the menu as (for sharing) is suitable only for one person unless you eat only half a cup of rice. They should remove the part that it is for sharing as it is misleading and the price point is also not justified. For your reference: Yang Chow fried rice in Mann Hann is a bigger serving and priced at PHP225 as of writing. When you do business, you should be honest to your customers to avoid disappointment. This is what Ooma did - write wrong expectations in their menu and not deliver what is expected of them. Shame. The food is also not great, I don’t know why people still eat here. It’s mediocre and you should try another Japanese restaurant like Botejyu - so much better.

Ooma is really one of the best japanese restaurants that I know of. The branch here in megamall is also good with their food and service and the staff were very accommodating. The inside were a little bit hot and would like to see some improvements on that. Overall it is still a very nice place to eat.

Ooma offers some exquisite Japanese/fusion dishes that are unique. Crew are very attentive and accommodating, often refilling our drinks regularly without being asked. The main server for our table was named Josh. Only downside is you're gonna smell like food if seated near the kitchen.

Pet-friendly. Eversince we got a puppy and we bring him with us sometimes when we go out, dining has been a challenge. So I really leave review s for those restos that allow pets in their dining area. Staff was very accommodating. They dis aiy us near the entrance, away from most diners but at least they HAVE an area for diners with pets. Food was ok. Nothing special. And the serving was quite big (at least for me). Place was clean.

Arrived a bit earlier, so we got a nicer spot inside. The staff were welcoming, our server - Gyn Fred - was swift and attentive to our needs. He even recommended trying one of the best-selling sushi platters. Our meat and shrimp orders came quickly after the appitizers. Most satisfied with the food. I would love to come back with friends again to try the rest of the menu offers.

Umami-rich food, excellent service as well. Super reco to get the ff: Soft-shell crab taco - THE BEST Hanger steak Tempura They have various rolls too, make sure to try! Budget is around 500 min per head if rolls only, more if with drinks and ordering steak/tempura etc.

Thank you, Tin! I think she’s one of the managers here. I accidentally dropped my sushi but she replaced it for me! See first picture. Overall, we love the udon here since before pa during pandemic until now. Cheese katsu curry don is also recommended! O gyoza is also superb! Staff are accommodating and nice’

Consistently pleasant and responsive service makes for a stress-free and delightful eating experience. However, the meal is the true show-stopper due to its inventive pairings and abundance of flavor. Their aburi maki selection is always my go-to, and this visit was no exception. I loved the Truffled Steak Aburi Maki. A one-of-a-kind and delightful mouthful was formed by the combination of the soft steak, creamy mentaiko aioli, and crunchy potatoes. The charred texture gave it a lovely smokey kiss. I was also pleasantly surprised with the Unagi Truffle Mushroom Hot Soba. The smokiness of the unagi meat went so well with the earthiness of the mushrooms and the subtle flavor of truffle. It would be great if they had a cold soba option! When you want a great meal, you can always count on Ooma.

Overall, the food is great. It’s just that the matcha is not ✨giving✨ To think that it’s a Japanese restaurant. My friend share the same sentiments on the matcha drink. Plus we need to follow up thrice for our bill. Will I be back? Yes! I wanna try more from them. There were a few dishes on the menu that’s not available when I visited.

Ooma is a great place to eat and hang out with friends or family. In terms of service, the staff are approachable and easy to talk with. In terms of food, I’m a little half half about this. Super love the aburi mixer and unagi truffle mushroom hot soba. For the uni udon, this was a little mid, giving off the feeling of a carbonara. For the hanger steak, this was cooked well and meat was tender. My only problem was that there was a sour taste that didn’t quiet go well with the dish, not sure if it’s because of the mushrooms or a specific sauce mixed in. Music was a little loud so we had to talk over the noise.

We love the food, it was delicious and authentic japanese cuisine. The place is full when we got there so I guess, a lot of people like the restaurant. The serving is fast, the servers are polite, quite pricey but understandable with the food itself. We will visit again!

Prolly one of the best Japanese restaurants we've been to in a while. First of all, the service was impeccable. The staff was all smiles, very welcoming, and really had a good vibe about them. Like they enjoy what they do. They were very polite, explained how to eat some of the dishes for maximum yums, and refilled the water glasses without prompt. Just this alone makes me want to go back for more. But the food was great too, which brings me to my second of all lol. We had the Mushroom Chips, which tastes so good it makes me wonder if I should feel guilty kasi very similar yung experience sa chicharon. We also had the amazing Soft Shell Crab Taco Maki and the Crowd Favorites (sort of like a sampler of maki) which almost brought me to tears kasi ang sarap! The tori karaage was so flavorful muntik na naman ako maiyak. And since feeling ko we wouldn't get full, we also got the Katsudon and some drinks. I was wrong. The Crow Favorites + karaage together were enough to fill us up. And this was a happy-busog kind of experience because every single dish was so good. We had to take some of the food home kasi nga ang dami pala. The bill ended up to be around 2000php and it was all worth it. Honestly akala mas malaki pa yung aabutin ng bill sa dami at sa sarap ng kinain namin. Please try this place out if you haven't yet.

I love the food and the ambiance. No more mahabang pila, they accept cash and credit cards. Accept also BDO Pay. I love the food especially their Ice Tea. I also love the chicken. I will visit again here. 👍👍🤓😎

The gyudon that I ordered is tasty and good for sharing…surprisingly I finished it and the salmon sashimi. A bit pricey.

Delicious food, lagi naming nadadaanan pero now lang namin natry. Also, I love the items on their menu. You'll want to order a lot, and they did not disappoint. I love my iced matcha. The dessert was great too, not too sweet. The only thing is they tried to serve the dessert just right after they served our drinks, no visible food at our table pa 😅 and the place seemed too crowded. Parang siksikin sa loob, i do hope they can expand or transfer to a wider location :)

Had dinner last night. 3rd in line, waited around 10-15 minutes. Pood'a delicious! Portions were big but I find their prices a bit expensive. Almost 600+ for a decent meal. Service is alright but can definitely be improved; Umami* would probably work great here. *Umami is a digital ordering system.

Hmmm. Rolls were ok, but the wasabi was a big let down. It was almost tasteless. My wife's curry bowl was not hot (I wouldn't even call it warm). My katsudon was too sweet for my taste. Service was good and meal was reasonably priced. I'm just not sure if I can go back in the future.

Worth the wait and the price 😋 first time to try Soba Noodles and its really refreshing bec of the watermelon 🍉 I prefer the sushi and tempura tho, still a filipino at heart (rice and fried food) ✨

Hanger steak and Aburi Maki Truffled Steak are my fave here 😍😋 Worth it din ang tempura if you are craving for it. P.S. If lacking yung truffle flavor ng steak, they may give you extra truffle oil. 👍😉

Mouthwatering spicy tuna and truffle steak aburi! Service just takes a while but best to go outside peak hours. There is free hot tea and the outside tables are dog-friendly. Cravings satisfied:)

We decided to eat at Ooma Megamall since it is one of my aunt's favorite restaurants. We ordered kani salad, ebi tempura and beef chahan. We were a little bit disappointed w/ the ebi tempura since the breading was a bit hard. Told our server Darlyn. She immediately told their manager, Jay, whom approached us and apologized. He even insisted on replacing our tempura. We did not accept it since we are happy w/ the rest of our food & their great service. Kudos to Ooma for their great customer service.👍👍👍👍👍

We ate here for dinner because we were looking for a restaurant that offers unlimited iced tea refill. Their iced tea was not so sweet and priced at P110. We also ordered kimchi prawn and enoki maki, curry don and oyakodon. Most meals are priced at P300 and above. We paid P1400 for 3 unlimited iced tea and our meal. Both dons took 15 minutes to arrive. The servers and the manager are accommodating and responsive.

Maki rolls were delicious. We ordered the platter which is three pieces of 4 kinds of maki (fixed variants). I liked this the best. There weren’t many people when we dined there on a Saturday late afternoon but since they do not crowd their tables, we had to wait for a good 20mins to get our seats—We had ourselves a table good for 6. Waiting time is so-so. I understand that orders weren’t served right away, being as the food is freshly cooked/made upon serving so yes, good enough for me.

Favorite was the soft shell crab tacos. The sushi was alright this time around. But the sushi has always been just alright! Bit pricey

Ambience The dining area starts outside and stretches towards the back, but don't expect a restroom. You need to walk about a minute away so I suggest going in advance, lessening drink consumption, or drinking as you'd like if time isn't a problem. Food Unagi Maki was interesting for the toasted flavor and texture of the rice. Beef Udon was very new to our taste buds for being slightly sour. Tori Udon was delicious thanks to the garlic cream. Salmon Skin Aburi Maki was one of our favorites! Getting the salmon right was easily a big plus. Service It was evident they didn't prepare the Unagi Maki on time because we followed it up after receiving everything else, and we even gave some buffer time for the crowd size. They clarified what we ordered even though the ordering process was crystal clear. The bill also took quite awhile. I didn't feel value for the service (take note: there's service charge) but food quality was terrific!

Loved the Tataki offerings, it's like a refreshing protein-loaded salad haha. Service staff were welcoming & pleasant.

First visit here, a place with lots of different type of aburi rolls. The aburi rolls and ebi tempura are good!

Too overhyped because of its presentation and low price range for a fusion food. My first visit was really disappointing. First, queue was long and when we were seated the food of the those next to us came out first and waited more than 30 minutes for the first dish which is just a maki (pic). Then followed by the appetizer mushroom fritters which was drowned in oil. Not freshly fried. Then my cheesy katsu curry took almost an hour to arrive I have to follow up three times. It was just a katsu curry. The orders of the others are more complicated but arrived first and we were seated first. Tables are greasy also so it doesn't add much to the appetite. I am really disappointed. I love japanese food and quite experimental but I would never go back to OOMA again.

I have been coming back to Ooma for their famous Hanger Steak and last night did not disappoint. The queue was long (as expected, it was Valentine’s Day) but it was definitely worth it! Our dining experience was great! Thanks to Ms Sarah for giving us quality service during a busy night. Highly recommended!
