This place is peaceful and quiet. It is good for retreats and has also been a favorite wedding venue. Everyone is also welcome to visit even just for a quiet walk, to get in touch with nature and to have a prayerful day. There's a small entrance fee of around P30 (as of August 2019). You can simply walk around the huge garden and enjoy the fresh air on this mountain top venue. It is recommended that you use sunblock, cap or hat, and bring snacks and water if you plan on going to this place. As of August 2019, a multitude of stalls have made their way to Caleruega. Snacks, fruits, vegetables are being sold in stalls near the gate of the property. Husslers also ask for a payment of P40 for you to park your car near the gate. Best to come here on a weekday to avoid crowds of visitors.

Caleruega is a beautiful park and a true oasis of peace and relaxation. As a nature lover, I can't wait to go there again and enjoy the beauty of the landscape. The trails in the park are well marked and easy to walk. The hikes are suitable for everyone and are a great way to experience nature in all its glory. The scenery is breathtaking with green hills and rolling valleys stretching in all directions. I was able to really switch off and relax from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The resort also offers many places to rest and relax. Whether you want to rest on a bench or picnic in a meadow, Caleruega has many great options to choose from. I enjoyed just sitting in the sun and watching the birds fly through the trees. All in all, Caleruega is a fantastic place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and connect with nature. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a relaxing day surrounded by the beauty of greenery and nature.

Very serene place. Went here with my family on a Sunday and was amazed at the beautiful surroundings. The church was a sight to behold. Only drawback was that there were a lot of people so it was quite noisy and we weren’t able to take photos without someone being in the background. Suggest that you go on weekdays to best enjoy the area

A great place, hidden away at the end of a pretty battered road. But definitely worth the bumpy ride up - the old church (200+ years old) and extensive grounds boast lots of little gems to explore. The eco park and hanging bridge were a personal favourite, check out the koi pond on the way over! Entrance is 30 per person, and 40 for parking.

Though there is a picture perfect church, and nice scenery, the road leading to the church is horrific! There is about 3 km of rough road with holes, and you will most likely have flat tire or dents in your car. Also, come night time, there are no lights along the road! For couple who wish to get married here, I strongly suggest that you just get married in the church but do not have your reception here. The reception area is just ordinary, but there is strong wifi connection. The restrooms are not kept clean but there are bidets. Will never go back again. A nightmare on the hill!

Be prepared to bring a jacket! The place is cold in the afternoon :) Nevertheless, it has breathtaking view and you will be one with the nature! Best time to go around 4-5pm to witness the sunset.

A perfect place for both those who love nature-viewing and momentary refuge in a far-away place. Its vast surrounding of nature gives you the quiescence you need for yourself in reflection and exclusive time with God. The place is true to its tagline: "Close to Nature, Closer to God". I (and my former students) have been here so many times in the past but I cannot get enough of the peace/tranquility it provides. It is just unfortunate that it is still closed for public visit at this pandemic time. I hope it will open its doors again soon to avid visitors like me. I miss everything about it - - - the Transfiguration Chapel, the Sunday Mass, the hanging bridge, the retreat & wedding venues, the ponds, the gardens, the benches, the flowers and various plants, and the courteous staff.

Caleruega is known as the most popular wedding chapel around Tagaytay. The place is much photographed and the image of the Chapel of Transfiguration is the main attraction. When entering the place you will be welcome by an old structure called Cenaculum. This is also the gateway to the Chapel of Transfiguration, and to the retreat center accomodations. The place was very solemn, you will enjoy the beautiful scenery once you reach the top. It is heaven, a home, a sanctuary amidst the beauty of nature where pilgrims are open to pray with creative transformation and Gospel values.

This place is a must visit when you’re in Tagaytay or Batangas. Nice hike up to the church and the views are amazing. They also offer wheelchairs for those who wouldn’t be able to climb up which is very thoughtful. Went here with my family before covid during the eruption of Taal. These photos were actually minutes before we heard the eruption.

It's a great place to relax and contemplate while praying along with nature. Old yet still grand this picturesque church stands among the mountain side complete with a retreat center and accomodations for those in need. They have mass thou due to pandemic you might want to call before you go.

Had my retreat there. Aesthetically pleasing and serene. You'd definitely feel close to nature. People are hospitable and kind. You'd definitely feel relaxed and at peace. Dormitories are adequate but bathroom and heater needs a bit of work. Overall, I would definitely come back.

Great place to relax and unwind also to feel close with nature and God at the same time. Entrance was fair, but the only thing I didn't like was the vendors pursuing you non stop before you enter or go, tho we could understand that they need to sell their products before it expires still some people go there and need some space or have peace of mind, some would understand but some could be irritated and might think twice going back again.

The church is ideal for weddings. But be prepared to walk with comfy shoes. Older people might also find it a bit difficult up the steps.

Be prepared for some Hiking as some areas require you to walk and climb stairs a lot. The place is deceptively big. Great for retreats, family bonding and generally a good place to relax your mind.

A place that will give you relaxation and solemnity in your mind with its lush surroundings. The Church itself is in the top of the hill so be prepared for a long walk.

It is a nice spot for family get together so I rate it 5 star , may mga part dito na instagramable talaga, like the koi fish pond, the long way road under the trees, some old but good pahingahan along the walkside , it has duyan by the way. There are 2 parts of the church na old and vintage but clean and beautiful, meron sa baba and meron sa taas. I highly recommend it because the entrance fee is justifable for a breath taking scenery. I think it would make a very good location if you're goin to have photoshoot for wedding

Must-go in tagaytay. The place is so refreshing. Plants and trees are well preserved. Biggest fern and coy I've ever see. Make sure to buy fruits, super cheap and freshly picked.

This place is nice, where you can have a nice view. Mt. Batulao is also overlooking in this place. There was also a church where you can pray and it also a good venue for a wedding.

We were charged 30 per pax including kids plus 40 for parking which is all soil and could be muddy when it rains, otherwise dusty. Use of toilet is additional 10 per pax. Toilet stinks, very dirty not maintained at all. I asked for a receipt for entrance fee and parking but was ignored by the rude and intimidating security. Going to a place of worship never felt this awkward. Will never go back to this place, will not recommend this place

Worth the travel and 30 pesos entrance fee. Th church itself is beautiful. The surrounding area is also peaceful and nice to walk around. If I'm not mistaken, they also entertain retreats. Aside from the main church, there's also another tent chapel far back. The walk to that tent chapel is pretty long but the place is nice.
