If McDonalds decided tomorrow that they would like to operate a hotel, this would be that hotel. Front office staff were probably poached from a nearby bed and breakfast, or some 1-star motel. Food is an absolute piling piece of sheet. Ala carte is also overpriced. Rooms are full of bugs. Lights not working properly and flickering at night. The kid’s playroom looks like it was last cleaned 2 years ago. Stuffed toys were dirty and stink of molds. There was even a hole in the ceiling in the kid’s playroom causing a leak. As in one portion of the ceiling was wide open. As if someone intentionally opened it so that water can freely leak on the floor lol! Prior to check-in we also requested for a baby crib, which they agreed to provide. But it wasn’t in the room when we arrived. It came around 7pm. And they gave us this crib with a plywood like bedding. I asked the kuya, and he said this is their normal crib. A crib for a dog maybe. To top it all, we requested 1-2 hrs late check out for a fee, since our child had just started his first nap a few minutes before the check out call, but we were denied citing “full occupancy”. On November freaking 2. They were fully booked, allegedly. But we can extend if we’re willing to pay a full day for the room. So we just left. Megaworld as an operator overall just sucks. Everything they touch turns to molds, lol. I highly recommend reconsidering before booking this place. The likes of Anya Hotel, Escala, or even smaller boutique hotels would be better than Twin Lakes.

The hotel projects luxury, but the service & age of the place eats at that projection. Would have preferred having breakfast with natural light and huge windows, but breakfast was served in the ballroom. Breakfast spread was normal, but definitely not as good as other hotels in the same price range. Water in the bathroom was lukewarm at best. The staff seem to be hurried and untrained. We got a welcome cake from the hotel manager at 9pm. It's nice to get a small treat, but to give a "welcome" at 9pm speaks a bit about what's happening behind the scenes. I asked for extra towels and had to make a followup call because they hadn't arrived yet after 30 minutes. The TV in the room will play a video everytime you start it, but the promotions on the video are from 6 months ago. It's these little things that give a hint of what's going on behind the scenes. Again, I'd forgive this if they were just another hotel. But the image that they are projecting & their services/offerings do not match the price they are asking for.

The architecture as a whole is unbelievable - overall layout, design details, etc. It has shops at the top of the hill, drive down a little to the hotel and to the right of it are residential condos I assume. Each structure, including the hotel rooms, are unobscured and are able to take advantage of the breath taking view. It also has terraces that have vineyards. What was disappointing was the rooms, bathrooms, hallways, etc need a LOT of attention. For its name and what it stands for, you would only expect only the best, including the maintenance. And one funny detail is that they have a small combination safe in the room, but, its not bolted down. Somebody can just walk away with it...lol

Genuinely disappointed. Stayed here with a young family. Ac noisy, Water not warm enough to bath baby without boiling a kettle and mixing it... another big issue too in that can only use the facilities like the pool, gym, spa etc for one hour a day due to covid restrictions (although this wasn't mentioned or if it was was kept pretty low profile as I didn't see it). Our plan to take it easy and relax with the wonderful vistas ... ruined. Buffet adequate but restaurant absolutely freezing! Also expensive for Phillipines, captive audience getting clobbered..... Other restaurants close by but you need transport or be mobile.. steep climb to the road.

Room has big balcony. But it doesn’t soundproof well. 2nd time visiting here. I booked a blissful room package but the spa did not have any available slots 🤷

I booked for twin lake hotel for 5 days for us $ 771.90 in advance. This was my stupidest thing that I ever did . As soon as I entered the hotel , the unhealthy smell of the dampness made me sad . SMELL OF MOLD at every where Corridor , Room, Even Gym . No good ventilation at all . I started suffering from rash and it was really not good holidays for me . I would like to let know the hotel management about that. What a pity for such a great hôtel

Their room is clean and has a relaxing ambience. All rooms have a nice veranda. The Premiere Room has a bathtub and a separate shower. Their pool is a heated pool. You can book a room directly with the hotel, which is cheaper and gives more value for your money as they offer other complimentaries (such as dining credit and breakfast) compared to what major third-party online booking platforms can offer. There are also several restaurants located outside the hotel including a supermarket.

Booked a room for our anniversary and was given a room with 2 double beds instead of a single king bed. Was told that there were no more rooms available that had the beds we wanted, granted that the hotel was fully-booked so we really had no choice. Room didn’t smell good when we arrived but at least it was decently clean enough. Other than that, our room had a very nice view specially during the morning. Staff are friendly and we didn’t have any issues with the parking. Buffet breakfast could be better with more options, but it was pretty ok.

A very nice hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The free buffet breakfast was nice. Not a lot of variety in the viands though.

Overall, its a good hotel with its charms and quirks. (detailed review) Courteous and Friendly staff. Rooms well kept and clean. Furnished but missing usual room service menu (ecopy exists, link included with your room keys) and writing pads. Complementary water bottle and coffee sachets with stirred (no tea). Equipped with water heater tho. Bathroom was likewise clean. Regular amenities, with shampoo and soap liquid dispensers. Lots of outlets including one for usb charging. Oddly, doorbell wasnt working. safety box wasnt plugged in). Cable provider is spectrum, limited channels but has hbo, hits and history channel. Swimming pool, spa (luva), gym, game room and childrens playroom at Lower 4 / L4 (aka L5). Gym equipment relatively new. game room (chess boards and pool table)wood tiles are extremely creaky. Vineyard is also accessible via L4 (probably still in the works? not fully railed, not safe esp for kids) Breakfast buffet is good enough, although the serving staffare nice. Food could have been better. Main buffet, rice and a few enteree options (tinapa, vegetables, sausage, tapa; it changes between days), egg station, salad, fruits, arrozcaldo. Coffee and Chocolate was notable though (had coffee with creamer, no sugar needed. choco drink was good). Resto (the cafee) offers buffet dinner option but doesnt offer alacart. Good selection with matching roasting area (situated outside; although the some of the smoke gets indoors). Huge event area. with removable dividers (probably good to have for 300-400 people comfortably seated). Noise insulation between rooms and corridor not too good. Parts of the wallpaper not very well done. With parts of the corridor walkway walls have water damage (i think) and crumbling. Loads of parking space (basement parking available). Offers shuttle to top area restaurants, although its walkable (10-15 min regular paced walk). Watchout: Midnight Tv viewing gotchas. Turning on the TV starts with twin lakes' welcome video; Not really an issue, except, the volume is so loud you are sure to bother people in the same room (probably including neighbors by the adjoining rooms). (!) Admin needs to check shock risks with plugs powering the lights near the pool (see photo with wrt floor near children playroom).

Twin Lakes Hotel. Really nice. Recommended 👍 The staff are really nice and their pool is heated. The rooms are clean, spacious and posh. Athough the amenities are quite limited (heated pool, gym, chess and billiard room, indoor playroom for kids), but they do allow pets which is a big plus... Additionally, one can take a walk thru their vineyards for afternoon or morning strolls (I did a hill-tempo run there and it was a good workout). My only nit-pick is their food. Quite limited but not bad... Just a bit pricey. Breakfast buffet is ok (comes w your booking)... Nonetheless, there are food options up by the mall (they offer free shuttle from hotel up to mall/showroom, and back) Overall, it was a good experience and we will definitely go back sometime in the future!

This is a review regarding our lunch alone in Twin Lakes Hotel. Not a review on their buffet, accommodation and other offered services. What I like here is the food is being served freshly cooked with proper temperature and good portioning. Some dishes are a bit pricey but I can assure you that everything is well cooked and delicious. We ordered 7 different dishes (which pictures with names attached in this review), and the only issue I have with is the ribs. The description of the ribs is "charred" which means it must be grilled but it doesn't show the grill marks nor you can taste it. The meat is cooked beautifully, but aside from the absence of the grill marks, the sauce that was in that dish is like an adobo sarsa which in my opinion ruined the beautiful ribs. All in all the place is good; very calming and relaxing. The food is great. The servers are accomodating and really passionate. Food: (4)⭐⭐⭐⭐ Service: (5) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ambiance: (5) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I would still recommend everybody the experience of having lunch/dinner at Twin Lakes Hotel. (Just don't order the rib, 😅 kidding!)

Amazing view, heated pool, very nice arhitecture, surounded by nature. Great place to relax. Rooms are okay with a nice balcony. Would only say that it's not as clean as it should be, it is visible that it's not maintained well when it comes to cleanliness. For a non smoker I didn't enjoy that smoking is allowed and i can smell smoke from other room when they smoke on their balcony and the smoke is going on our balcony which in a way kill the enjoyment of view and our meal.

I can't say enough how great experience we had with my family when we were in Twinlakes Hotel Tagaytay. Their pool is always warm and kid friendly too. You don't have to worry about bringing your own towel they always have spare for their guest. Looking forward to go back this coming holiday season. We highly suggest to add the choices of their breakfast buffet like cereals, oatmeal, and pancakes.

The rooms are very clean. Welcome drink and cake is provided on your room upon check-in. Service is great. The infinity pool is heated and they provide towels while using the pool. Buffet breakfast is delicious though choices are minimal. You are not allowed to bring foods inside the hotel.

Great place with a nice view of Taal Lake. Staff are helpful and friendly. The heated pool is a nice place to lounge around. Delicious breakfast buffet (not a lot of food choices but enough). Only concern was with the airconditioning in the room which seems to be fixed at a very cold temperature and no way to make it less cold (adjusting the thermostat in the room does not do anything).

Great view from balcony. Pool is heated. Rooms and bathrooms are well maintained. Service from employees are awesome, they really make sure you feel like a VIP. Filipino breakfast is to die for, specially the corned beef and scrambled eggs. Luxury at its best.

Been here a lot. The place has a really nice overlooking of Taal. Their place is good for receptions. Also, lots of good views and locations to take photoshoots You only need to endure the cool breeze while plunging to their heated pool, as the heated pool cannot fully make it warm. The portion of the pool that the warm water goes out is on the kiddie side.

Bed was good. Air-conditioning was good but all the rest wasn’t. Bathroom had a lot of issues, dripping water from the ceiling, water on the floor from I don’t know where. Bathtub drain won’t seal properly. They came in to leave fruits but did not fix the beds nor clean the bathroom. Reception called to ask if we were checking out on day 2 despite paying for 2 nights. They did this twice. Really disappointing for more than 10k a night.

The Room is spacious and nice and we have a very nice view. I apparently booked the room for guests with pets which is more expensive. They transferred me to the higher rooms which is supposedly less expensive (thousand pesos less) but they cannot refund since we already paid in full. They gave us an extra bed instead and we did not pay for extra adult as compensation. Breakfast meal is reasonably priced for 600 pesos it's okay. The service is very nice. The amenities are good specially the heated pool. It is really relaxing. The spa is expensive but I can say its quite worth it. You can really tell the masseuse are trained. I would love to get another massage but it's expensive. The downside of staying here is the BAD expensive food. We tried their kare-kare oxtail. They gave the tip of the tail. Maanggo ang beef, matigas ang balat and konti ang laman. It's only good for one person dinamihan lang ng gulay. The price is around 1400 pesos. We tried the pizza, the dough is under baked. A Margherita pizza is simple but the flavor has to be balanced, pero maasim masyado ang tomato and it didn't blend well with the other ingredients. The chicken wings, maalat masyado ang breading. Don't get the Aglio Olio parang puro salt. Ma-highblood ka sa alat. No for the food, YES to the service and view and the heated pool. The CR blinds is quite moldy. Sana next time okay na.

Highly recommended! With a peaceful and scenic view of Taal, good service, good food, and very comfortable and spacious rooms! The price is fair for all the good service that you’re going to get! Hotel staff were polite and attentive to our needs during our stay.

We were there for a conference, the hotel according to them was fully booked and we were given the farthest room at Level 4 where we got terrifically smelling pillows (we had to call housekeeping to change them and we were given new ones) and a big cockroach visitor later in the night (which we again had to call housekeeping). The balcony offered a small glimpse of the lake. It would have been better if we stayed at the old reliable Taal Vista Lodge. Breakfast was ok. Staff very friendly. Water ok. Towels old. L4 Corridor to our room looked clean but the carpets are all stained (was it flooded before? They should think of better design as it smelled mouldy).

Buckets and microfiber towels are everywhere! From lobby, to restaurant, to guest room hallways. We even witnessed a part of the ceiling fall off. Maintenance had to work at the roof slab - creating a lot of noise on the guest rooms below it. Pool heater is not functioning well - 1/3 source of heat is not working. Water coming out from the shower stall walls (probably not waterproofed properly). No grab bars at bath tub (unsafe). We had to wait for an hour from the time we ordered dinner until it was served. Massage service was great, however we were only given 45mins instead of the 1hr package since the therapists needs to take the hotel service on their way home. We were also late with our appointment due to the slow service at the restaurant. I hope they at least extend the operational hours of the restau and spa so you can still enjoy it late night.

This is a luxury hotel not in Tagaytay but in Laurel, Batangas. I wonder why they named it like that? Maybe because of marketing strategies? If the owners named it "Twin Lakes Laurel", hotel goers wouldn't immediately have an idea where that is and they may not book there so they named it "Twin Lakes Tagaytay".

Beautiful and clean rooms, view, and worth staying here even just for the food. All their food items are top notch. Love their tapa too. Plus all their staff are extremely attentive and accommodating. World class service.

We had our first overnight trip at The Twin Lakes Hotel during the COVID-19 pandemic. The food is mediocre (except their hot chocolate), but the staff are very welcoming. They also welcomed our dog as well. Good staycation, and looking forward to come back with better food.

Had a pleasant business stay here. Facilities are clean and the views are spectacular. Though it's a bit far from the city proper (technically not even located in Tagaytay, but Laurel) so no late night walks for bulalo. Must take public transit if you don't have a car.

We had a spontaneous check-in here and it was worth it. Spectacular Taal and grape vine view, nice breakfast and really neat room. It’s not the typical Taal lake view because you also see the forest of Batangas. There is a “ghost” pianist playing non stop at the lobby. Overall, it was a great stay.

Travelled to Tagaytay with my wife and kids (total 8) for vacation and to attend a wedding. We got 2 deluxe rooms with an extra bed. We were given a lake view to our delight. The pool was under maintenance for the duration of our stay which was a major disappointment. However there are other ameneties in the location like a play room and a game room. My kids were able to take advantage of these. First off the view in this place is stunning and so instagramable. The room we got was spacious with a balcony. In the morning you can bask in the relaxing view of the Taal volcano and lake along with the cool weather and fog which was relaxing. There is a outdoors mall with a grocery and restaurant on the hilltop of the property which can be accessed by a shuttle bus that runs hourly. I love the grand facade of this place and the neutral colored room and lobby. The marble floors adds to the grandeur of the place. The rooms are cleaned daily like clockwork even w/o informing the reception or houskeeping that you wanted so. The staff are helpfull and courteous. The breakfast was good but the buffet selection is not as extensive as i want it to be. Another let down for me was the espresso are not free during breakfast and is added to your bill separtely. As in all of Tagaytay you need your own transpprt tp get around. The place ia secure with the umbiquitous guards. The place is a bit on the pricey side but you just nees good timing on your booking and i recommend contacting the property personally by email or phone rather than booking by 3rd party sites. For this particular stay i was able to get breakfast inclusion fory entire family and a consumable voucher per day. All in all it was a bang for the buck. The bar prices are surprisingly not on the unreasonable side. All in all this was a great stay and would come back again.

The best and most luxurious hotel in Tagaytay. It is perched in a ridge giving it a Disney castle like ambiance. The lobby is modern eclectic. The pool is warm. The restaurant is spacious. I just hope they upgrade their into something more serious.

We booked De Luxe Room with balcony for our Anniversary and we really enjoyed every moment of our stay. We had complimentary cake, wine and cute teddy bear + balloons... super nice! We also enjoyed night swim at heated infinity pool. Breakfast was delicious.
