Thank you for the good service still :)

Such serenity with the place. The restaurant is designed with natural lighting. The food may be a bit price-y but cmon it's definitely worth to break the bank. πŸ‘Œ

In and of itself, the food are delicious and reasonably priced but taste not as authentic Japanese as can be. The menu was overwhelming with options but several items we not available, even some which the server thought was available. The rice meals were the best value. The tonkotsu ramen was okay but I've had tastier Japanese ramen at the same price point. The sashimi platter was on the pricey end since there were more crabsticks than raw salmon and tuna, I couldn't tell too if the mackarel was cooked or marinated in salt/vinegar as should be since it was bland. The takoyaki tastes fine but was not served piping hot and was a bit on the dry side. As a cozy hangout at pet-friendly resto, this place deserves a thumbs up, not lacking in ambiance both of the Japanese izakaya and the spectacular sight overlooking the majestic taal lake. If you want the energy of an izakaya, go towards the evening but if you want cozy, relaxed, and quite private private dining, go before lunch time -- you might even have the entire place to yourself to snap your next Japanese-inspired photos. The staff were courteous and attentive but don't expect to hear back immediately if inquiring via their official FB page. Would I come back to dine again? YES!!! I'd even bring friends along next time as long as they are not a food critic like me.

The Overload Futomaki was some of the best sushi I have ever tasted. Many of my friends get sushi platters here for parties. Highly recommend this place.

Not bad. Decent taste for the price. I love the broth of their Miso at Tonkatsu Ramen. Their Red Iced tea taste like that of Tokyo-Tokyo.

I can't believe this place was just around the round-about when you visit Tagaytay and yet we always look for bulalo. But here it is, a small place but really serves good Japanese food and with the best view of Tagaytay! I love that the food has generous servings but with affordable prices. Will definitely come back for the food and the view. Tip: Dine upstairs to really feel the breeze. Inside is a little bit hot especially summer.

Wakami sashimi is way too salty. Don rice bowl is almost cold already when it's served. Gyoza only have "deep" fried& steamed options but the staff asked us what do we want for the gyoza they have fried & steamed. Even on the menu pic the gyoza is fried. They put crazy load of mayo on the rainbow shushi. Feels like after this meal we all have to go to hospital for hemodialysis. Asked for warm water three times without serving. Very impressive. Search no more, here you can find the real authentic Japanese food

Overall expeience was good. I actually like the soup base of their ramen, it's really good, except the noodles that they used, I think it's spag pasta noodle. How I wish it's thinner or they will really used a ramen noodle so it would be a perfect ramen. Gyoza and maki are good as well. Definitely will revisit again if Im craving for ramen in Tagaytay.

The place is so nice. It feels like you are in Japan. While eating you can see the fantastic view of Taal Volcano and the mesmerizing Taal Lake. I want to visit here again πŸ’–

It was a nice experience because the orders took a short time to be prepared. My favorite Zushi Me Ramen tasted a whole lot different in this branch and I feel offended at that because it should have been my comfort food from the long trip. I noticed that the comfort room stinks and there are nearby tables there which should be another big minus. Overall, I must say the restaurant has a lot of good stuff to offer.

Their food is amazing. Had a Salmon Lover Maki, a Poke Bowl and Katsudon! All 3 great! Only negative point: cash only.

We chanced upon this place when we couldn't find a decent restaurant that was still open at 9pm in Tagaytay. We visited in April and no A/C was necessary as the nighttime breeze was more than enough. I ordered the Tantanmen ramen and it was huge that I couldn't finish it; the soup was rich and the toppings were generous. My partner got their katsudon, and he said it was good and he wanted more so the deal-breaker was the serving wasn't enough for him. The salmon sashimi was fresh! It's served on this ice bed so it can stay fresh. Not in the picture is the takoyaki which was great as well. For the price, it was worth it. We all know that sashimi is expensive but I think our total bill was only around 800 (we didn't order drinks). We'd definitely come back.

One of the best Japanese restaurants I have been to. The food tastes really good and the choices on the menu are complete for a Japanese food craving.

3rd time visiting this branch. 1st time, experience was good. 2nd time ramen was bland, as if the broth is purely water. 3rd time was a disaster, we chatted via FB if they were open and was told they are open til 1am. We then travelled from Gen Trias to their place only to be told that they don't have ramen available. It was 9.00pm and most of the stores are closing. Poor service, poor communication, cr is out of service. Eat here 1 time and then move on.
