I am giving this bed and breakfast suites an overall 4 stars mostly for the million dollar views. Upon check in, they ask you to email your vaccination card. Early check in is accomodated free of charge. The hotel itself is acceptable, I am disappointed because of the lack of amenities inside the room, there is no coffee maker, fridge or microwave. I have requested an extra pillow but was charged 50 pesos per night, 50 pesos for a bucket of ice. There is a big wardrobe in the room to store your clothes, iron and hairdryer are available upon request, shampoo, soap, toothpaste and toothbrush is provided. Free breakfast is also included in the price of the room. The view is breathtaking, worth the money paid which is approximately 6500 pesos. The service is beyond excellent, the crews are very accommodating for any extra requests you might have, the only downside is the noisy footsteps coming from the restaurant upstairs because the floor is made of wood. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast, give it a try

Avoid!! 1. They should not have the “Lakeview” as they have minimal to Zero view of the lake. 2. Incompetent service. The attendants can’t even get a simple order (ex. cold milk pls- ended up having warm milk) 3. Early morning Reception phone keeps ringing and no one attends. 4. Lobby music is Too Loud as early as 6AM, it woke us up 5. Internet is so slow! 6. 1hr to get a basic breakfast We paid 28K for a service where most hostels are better. Overall experience didn’t seem like a suite, it was like a bed and breakfast inn.

A great place to relax and enjoy the view of lake (partial view). The foods they serve are great as well. the place is quiet and the room is enough to enjoy an overnight stay. The staffs are kind as well. A relaxing place.

Dirty suites! Molds everywhere!! The family room was stinky, the floor was sticky, the bathroom and window have molds. So noisy!!! The cctv camera was beeping all the time. So irritating! The doors, floors and alarm clock were toooooo loud!!! The bed and pillows are hard! The shower area at the garden was horribly stinky! The loungebank is broken. I don’t recommend this suites! This suites needs a huge improvement!! Ps, there is no fridge in the family room and extremely slow internet.

With the price per night per room, it would be better to have the ff: Bigger and better bath towels (some are tattered already) Face and hand towels Bed frames (for extra bed/s) Longer food service availibity Small fridge But we'll still go back and recommend to friends as well.

Was here recently. They have a glamping accommodation which we took, and it has 2 inflatable jacuzzis, and you can also pay for a campfire. It does have a good view (but it was foggy when we were there). Problem is that this is a kind of a climb going to the hotel area where the CRs are located. There' also free breakfast when you stay here. We had fun nonetheless.

We booked 2 types of room during our stay. The first room was a proper hotel room with a wide window garden view. The second room was the attic room, which for me is an unconventional for a hotel. It's more of a country style family room with wooden floors, walls, double deck and a twin bed. Service and staff are all excellent, they have good food, especially the Feeding Tokyo Japanese dishes. Only drawback for me is the lack of establishment near and around the hotel. So, best if you have a vehicle to take elsewhere for your needs or cravings. Slow internet in the rooms, so if you're planning to work from your hotel rooms- not going to be satisfactory.

A nice homey vibe with a great view. It has an in-house restaurant called The Tavern that serves all-day breakfast and some mains that are perfect if you want to just stay indoors. The Tavern gives you that cabin-like feeling with all wood furniture and decors. Location has nearby restos if you want to dine out. The only downside is that it has weak internet connection if you're inside the room.

We have a great stay here at Lakeview. Very accommodating staff upon booking prior to our arrival and offered us different options on how we can enjoy our stay. Upon searching for this place, it was a bit hard since signage is a bit small (Waze is very handy at his moment). We spend our night at their Studio Deluxe Room with Balcony and the view and ambiance is definitely breathtaking. Please take note that Taal Volcano is not visible on this part of the ridge which is not a deal breaker for us. Bonfire and Jacuzzi are provided later that evening with their scrumptious dinner. (large servings. must try: beef ramen and gyudon) also the guy who assisted us offered a radio for us to immediately communicate our needs with them since their glamping area is a bit far to their main hotel, he also took some of our pictures and tried different angles - obviously a photographer at heart. After dinner, massage was given which definitely seals the day for us. Good food, good experience and good massage all in one day~ The next morning, we woke up with good breakfast and coffee to fuel up our day. Will definitely stay here in the future.

Got the room with mountain view and balcony, view was nice although it was advertised with wifi there was no internet connection just a tv with local channels. Ended up using phone data instead :(

5 🌟 for the deluxe room view. Rooms are basic but comfortable enough to sleep in with necessary toiletries. Hot water is inconsistent. It's near the U-turn slot from City Hall. Signage is small; you can easily miss it especially at night.

Had an amazing view from our room, it was quiet and we were the only ones there during the middle of the week. Very peaceful and serene with great service all around. Highly recommend.

This was actually our second booking at Lakeview Suites. I just realized that I had not written a GMaps review of the place in 2019, during our first visit. Back then (and I'm including the 2019 photos now), we booked a small room that had a really nice view of Taal. This time around, we were able to book a one bedroom suite with kitchenette (thanks to Agoda platinum member perks, this became inexpensive). To be honest, I really love the layout of this suite and would like a tiny house similar to this built in the future. I love, love, love the kitchen layout. It also had dishes, utensils, and even cleaning materials. Toiletries, bidet, bathroom water heater are also included (this was the same standard maintained for the smaller room we booked back in 2019). For this suite, there's also a door connecting to the garden area. What I could say had changed after quarantine was lifted would be the menu. They used to have stuffed tofu and that other fish dish I really enjoyed for dinner back then. Now the selection seemed very basic. I guess it can't be helped because the pandemic hit a lot of businesses and staff, and it's not like we couldn't get dinner elsewhere in the area. I really liked our breakfast, though. Because of all the errands we've been trying to accomplish since July last year, we've been booking Tagaytay hotel staycations at least once (sometimes twice) a month at different hotels/resorts, and hubby and I really have to say that this is our favorite. The view is so very nice, and because it's a bit isolated, it's very tranquil. The staff are also very accommodating, and have initiative to ask what you need.

The manager was snooty. Our family room had no dresser, no ref, no amenities. Value for money is poor. Luckily, the staff were all courteous and accommodating. Senior citizen discount computations were questionable and had to be re-done by a CFO on our group.

For the price, we believe it is worth staying here! • Large and spacious room, cold aircon, and complete with amenities. • Great view of Taal Lake, love the aesthetic and calmness of the location. • Very accommodating and approachable staff, they're willing to help whenever they can. Hopefully, we can come back here soon whenever we have the time again!

Worst experience ever, expensive one... 1. Neither the room or the hotel has the expected lake view. 2. They put the music in the lobby and restaurant audible from the rooms which wake you up very early. Phone keeps ringing all night in tje lobby. No staff by night. We were locked inside with lock at the door as cattle. Don't know what would happen in case of emergency... 3. No tap water by night 4. Pillow are way too hard. 5. Service is terrible. Shortage of basics as bacon and lot of errors while ordering. 6. No information at all regarding activities in Tagaytay. Some staff don't understand english or keep silent when we asked info. 7. Room not made between 2 nights. No bottle of water for the 2nd night. 8. Breakfast served in 1 hour. Pancake not cooked. 9. Way too expensive for that. 28 kphp for 2 rooms, 2 nights!!!

Avoid!! I've never had such a bad experience in my life. I seriously think it's a scam. There's so many wonderful hotels in this city - you should choose another

  • 4/5 Booie M. 2 years ago on Google
Nice quaint hotel that feels more like a bed and breakfast. The place feels like an old house that was renovated into a hotel. Dining room is nicely decorated, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. View of the lake is minimal - and only for the rooms that are on the edge of the property. Overall, a good place to stay in Tagaytay. Small street entrance is quite hard to find especially since the signage for the hotel is small too.
