Good food - Servings and quality were worth the price. Good place - Had different sceneries. The garden was my favorite - we arrived there before noon but I have guess that it looks magical at night. Good people - staff were friendly and accommodating. I loved my overall first experience with the place. Will definitely recommend and come back again!

Perfect instagramable ambience. We had coffee/dessert here. Try their apple pie ala mode and their frozen blueberry cheesecake.

It's my first time and i love it. They have big servings and reasonable price. I love the ambiance. Tables are quite far from each other due to the social distancing and that's a good thing. Place gets easily swamped so make sure you have lots of patience waiting, otherwise i love my overall experience. Would definitely recommend if you are in tagaytay.

Always wanted to try eating here but they're always full when we visit. Finally able to dine here today and it's such a lovely place. Outstanding customer service as well. We felt at home right away. They have different sections also and all are well-maintained. Food is ok, and I love their pizza! Big serving also, so even though it's a bit pricey, the dining experience more than makes up for it.

This is where I get my favorite frozen blueberry cheesecake! This is the main branch so it has a lot of visitors but don't worry, there's plenty of tables to accomodate such large crowds. Food is good and and is for sharing. Will definitely go back for the cheesecake

We love Bag of beans. We always make it a point to visit whenever we are in Tagaytay. May it be for a good meal or just a cup of coffee. But we always tend to transfer to another branch whenever we are about to dine at the main. Problem always is the parking area and if we happened to get to park we would be waiting long to be seated. And when we finally get a table, we will again wait for more minutes before a server will get to notice us and have our orders. Their main branch is a big place with a lot a staff on floor but still not all guest were welcome right away. Maybe because it's always a very busy branch. But because we like their food, we don't mind transferring to another branch. Good thing, they have many branches in Tagaytay. But of course, in business we should never take for granted our loyal guest. Our food maybe great but service is equally important😊 and please have the pineapple pie in your menu again. We love that..

One of my favorite restos here in Tagaytay and also the nearest brance from our house. We always went here for a quick coffee break if we want to just chill at night. I really love their breads, love their pastries, ambiance and coffee as well. Next time, I'll to visit the other Bag of Beans branches to compare the taste. 😂 I almost forgot, their bathroom is clean and always smells nice.

On a Saturday morning, Bag of Beans Main branch in Tagaytay is still fully booked despite the restrictions. They have efficient staff who monitors walk in/ dine in guests.. taking temperature, QR code contact tracing, all table attendants are courteous and attentive to dine in guests. As always they serve good food! They even allow pets in their open space dining area!

First time at this Bag of Beans since arriving in Tagaytay almost four years ago. Great atmosphere and very good food. Presentation and taste were excellent of my Beef Tenderloin that was ordered and delivered medium. A good watermelon shake too. Wish the meat portion was larger for the price. A good first experience at this Bag of Beans branch overall.

Hot chocolate will always be my favorite choice of drink at Bag of Beans. The carrot cream cheese cake was good! The staff were attentive and the security guard helped us before getting out of the place.

Nice place, warm ambiance. not crowded when we visited (weekend lunchtime). Staff/barista are kind and accomodating. it's our first time here😊, they accommodate us and we tried their coffee and cake. We love it. I recommend house-blend if you like somehow light and aromatic coffee and then mocha latte, for cake we tried their carrot cake superb sarap. 🥰Hope we can come back and try their main courses or buffet 🤩

Been going here since 2010 and I’ve been a fan. The place is so relaxing and I’m impressed of how it expanded over the years. They have different areas and lahat is napakaganda. Very instagrammable so to speak. The food and beverages were the highlight of this place including the staff. Even my Taiwanese husband liked this place and this is our go to place whenever we go to Tagaytay

One of the well-known restaurants in Tagaytay. And I am not disappointed. The interior is great. The food is sooooo MASARAP. Enjoyed the bulalo and the Perfect Match pizza. They can accommodate groups and couples na gusto makaexperience ng romatic date 💕

Navigated to Bag of Beans Main branch because that's the most beautiful branch and mom wanted to take pictures of the place but this google map led us to Athena branch. Please fix this to avoid misleading the customers. Also, the foods are so expensive yet it doesn't even taste good. I had pork adobo and it's extremely salty, I didn't even ate it. Waste of money. Never going back. 👎

The food was very good however since we brought a dog we had to dine outside (al fresco). At that time, there were flies that we needed to drive away while eating. It was still a very nice place and the food was great. Kudos that it is a pet friendly restaurant.

I came here for a late breakfast after a night at a nearby hotel. It had come highly recommended and I can understand why. First off, the place is quite large, with several different areas all with slightly different decor - each of which has it's own special charm. The food itself was excellent and there were a lot of options to choose from. The staff was very helpful and kind. Definitely a place worth trying (though I hear it can get busy during weekends and holidays, so plan accordingly).

Creative interiors with almost every corner being picture-worthy (including the restroom 🤭). Another thing that stood out, and I can’t say it enough, is how attentive the staff were. From the guard to the servers and the cleaners, they are always ready to respond to the smallest gesture you make. Food, we only had pasta. They were both just ok. The serving was big though.

We had a great time, I believe it is the prettiest Bag of Beans I've been to so far. The blueberry cheesecake is a must-try, surprisingly the chocolate moist cake was not sweet at all, it was dark chocolate flavor, rich and delicious. The place is romantic, has a european rustic and cottage-core style, definitely instagramable, haha. The middle garden is absolutely gorgeous.

As expected, from food to service and ambience were all great! Food quality is really good, but for the price I think they can improve it a bit more as it's a but pricey. But for the ambience and customer service, it's worth it.

Been here a few times, some from way back early or mid 2000s and they've really upgraded the place with renovations. It's bigger, spacier, more susyal looking. Food is always delicious but can't deny that it's expensive. Service was nice, staff gave my brother a pannacotta with candle and matching singing because we mentioned it was his birthday. Always a pleasant dining experience here. Photos from most recent visit 10/04/23

They are now accepting dine in al fresco for fully vaxxed. So, don't forget to bring your vax card. No brunch buffet breakfast yet. We went there because we missed bulalo and they did not disappoint us. Their bakery still offer daily freshly baked breads and 50%off to 1 day old bread. As per their staf, they will slowly increase their dine capacity this week. Also, BOB in Summit Hotel is closed.

Great food in an indoor/outdoor setting. Give a higher level of comfort in dining in this time of pandemic. Dine with fresh air amid the cool Tagaytay weather. Friendly service, properly observed health protocols. Of course, great coffee. Try the hot chocolate too.

the service crew are attentive. But the breakfast food has an aftertaste on it. The ladies room is superb like i can sleep there but the resto is somewhat quaint and glad that the couple beside my table requested to turn on the electric fan because it was hot and there were mosquitoes.

was surprised to see how big the business grew since my last time here. was the first customer of the day so i got the time to enjoy the quiet atmosphere of the place. it was really nice! be exploring the other branches but may opt not to since this is where first fell in love with bag of beans... cheers!

One of the best restaurants in Tagaytay. They do even have other branches nearby. One near in Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Church and one in Twin Lakes. They offer pasta, cakes, even different type of Filipino foods. We loved the Bangus since it tastes so so so delicious!!!! One of a kind. 😍 This is one of my favorite restaurants in Tagaytay, highly recommended!!! ❤️

I always enjoy dining in the open dining, as the enclosed ones get too cramped. They’ve done a good job of regularly maintaining and improving the area. I also noticed service has improved. Food was okay, not that spectacular, and swaying a bit towards being overpriced.

This is a great place to have breakfast. The dishes are a bit pricey but some are delicious. The tapa is a bit tough. The brreakfast sampler is good for 2 people. The hamburger tastes great but the ham does not.

Nice ambiance. Photogenic. Easy parking. Food is very delicious and has big servings, that's why it's expensive but worth it. Kids can share a dish. Food takes 15 - 25 mins. Gets busy quickly. Best to order and ask for bill.

We went here for breakfast. We were the only customers during that time which was actually great knowing that Bag of Beans is one of the most visited restos in Tagaytay. The place is well-maintained and well-decorated, instagrammable, huge servings of food, and the best part is the restroom.

The place looks fancy and has a very nice ambiance. A lot of choices on the menu as well which includes different cuisines. They have cakes, pancakes, shakes, and coffee as well.

  • 4/5 Kyla G. 2 years ago on Google
Food was great. The bacon and pan de sal in the breakfast platter exceeded my expectations. My cafe latte was also good, although my friends didn’t like their iced coffee as it was too sweet. I would’ve given five stars if the place was more open air. The area is filled to capacity and the tables are not well-spaced as to enforce social distancing, which is essential in dining during the pandemic. I didn’t feel safe enough to properly enjoy my meal. I hope they could improve on this.

Perfect place to dine with your love ones and it's instagramable. I love the different themes/designs on every corner. Attendants are attentive to customers needs and requests. I just don't like their cheesecake and all foods are subject to a 10% service charge.

  • 5/5 Mao F. 1 year ago on Google
Staff and service are accommodating and commendable. Although the price increase is quite noticeable, I think you'd still get the value for your money. Serving was generous enough to enjoy the food. We ordered the salami pepperoni pizza. It was good because the ratio of the sauce to the dough was adequate. There wasn't too much cheese, too, so it's more focused on the flavor of the meat itself. We also had the grilled salmon fillet with mashed potato. Salmon was dry on some parts, but other than that, it was s delicious. Mashed potato and side veggies could use a bit more seasoning. They were kind of bland and boring compared to their serving before. A pinch or two of salt and pepper wouldn't hurt. Then we had the mixed seafood pasta in white sauce. I had that one before, but in tomato-based sauce. The squid was overcooked and rubbery, and the shrimp a bit, too. What I liked about it is that the sauce itself didn't taste fishy, nor did they overdo with herbs and spices. I like the fact that they do not dwell on Italian seasoning. A slice of lemon would have elevated the dish to a different level, though. Ooh! Complimentary bread that is not microwaved is definitely a plus. All in all, the experience was nice. It was quiet even though there were a lot of other diners. I like that you do not accidentally overhear conversations from other guests because they have enough space for you to move around and talk privately.

  • 3/5 Harvey C. 1 year ago on Google
The ambience and aesthetics of the restaurant were very beautiful. My family and I took tons of pictures at the different places in the restaurant. The downside would be the food. The food itself was ok; but it wasn't something that was worth the price that they charged for, nor did it mean we would come again for it. If anything, I think they should've just focused on the cafe aspect instead of the restaurant aspect. The place was pretty packed when we arrived but we were able to get seated quickly.

I would like to commend the guys/ crews of the Bag of Beans (Main) for making my proposal to my girlfriend possible. Special thanks to Mr Janvic for relaying my plan to his colleagues. Kudos guys! Keep it up! Thanks a lot! We had a couple visits on this place and the experience were the same. The ambiance and foods are great and the price are reasonable on my opinion compared to the quality and quantity. Definitely recommended!

  • 3/5 Jun C. 2 years ago on Google
My family loved the ambiance, the food is almost great if not for the dry pancakes. We ordered 2 breakfast sampler but the hash browns was omitted. We just noticed it when my wife was looking for something else, to take home, from the menu when we were almost done eating. The service is slow, it took almost an hour for our food to be served. I think one of their staff is playing deaf, since he did not even respond even if the customer from another table was already shouting just to call his attention.

Navigation: Restaurant is easily located along Tagaytay-Nasugbu road just right after passing by Crossing-Mendez when coming from Magallanes/Tagaytay-Sta.Rosa side. Parking Space: They have an allotted outdoor parking lot but it can easily be full during lunch and dinner on weekends. Although we usually come here on weekdays too and since it’s a pretty popular place, lunch (11:30AM) and dinner (19:00) can be pretty busy too. Prices: Some say it’s pretty pricey but for these dishes, I think they’re reasonably priced as they are delicious. Try these from their Vietnamese cuisine (sometimes they do not have it for dinner anymore): Pho Bo and Fresh spring rolls. Their Porkchop, Gambas, and Angus Cheeseburger are good too. For savory pies like Shepherd’s pie and Chicken Pie, I only like to have it for dine in and when I can eat it almost immediately. These are really good when piping hot. For dessert, their frozen blueberry pie and I think it was called chocolate with salted caramel cake or something, is really good. I always have these 2 to take home with me. Staff: Attentive to take your orders and to serve them. But be patient with them during busy hours when you are ready to get the bill or waiting for change/cc back. It will take quite some time at the cashier area. Ambiance: Great. You can opt to stay inside (cozy and nice decors) or outside for al fresco dining. Are pets allowed: Yes.

The bag of beans main branch is an excellent place to go for a coffee and a meal. The menu is varied and their fish and chips are amazing, will be going back for more! Portions are very large, the fish and chips is down as an entree, but struggled to finish it... Staff are very efficient and helpful and the decor is amazing, a real stunning place to visit and eat. Will definitely return, and also check out the other bag of beans locations 👍👍

It's nice and decent here to stay in, the overlooking view is great but not too wide. You can't see the Taal Lake or Volcano well, just a part of it. There are cute black ants there, I don't know if they bite but they could scare you if you're not friendly with insects. House blend coffee is okay, it's not good enough for my coffee taste. But Caffe Mocha is better than House blend, Iced Caramel is okay, it's sweet. Idk, maybe I ordered the wrong coffee that I've been seeing on reviews that their coffee is one of the best in the area. I guess Starbucks still reign supreme. The hotcakes with the bacons, egg, and burger is great, you'd feel full already, I think it's about 450 pesos. I shared it with my sister. Coffees are around 150+ Wear your face mask and face shield. The service is nice, there is no wifi at the time of visit. But there is restroom. 3 stars because, my dad's senior discount were only used for the coffees, they didn't discount the pancake meal, and it's the pricey one. Seems a bit off, but maybe it's just a protocol. Seems cheap, I think it's about 35 pesos that was discounted. Ahh. Come in early, around 6:20 or so, they opened at 6:45 am, and there were already people waiting at that time. We were the second to visit first but I think we were at the 10th line. But it's okay. I had high hopes with the place, but it seems pretty normal to me. It's just that it's located in Tagaytay, that it seems more appealing. But maybe, I ordered only a few drinks and one meal. Or my taste is just not alright with the place, maybe you would prefer it. So try it if you wish to dine in. :)

Nice place to hang out and chill even during MGCQ since it is really spacious so no fear of no social distancing or whatsoever. Staff are nice and I really liked the ambiance and the view especially if you go during day time. We just had coffee (cappuccino and Kapeng barako) and cake (caramel cheesecake - cake of the day) and it was good. Next time we'll try their food and I'll post another review. The place is open til 9pm compared to other establishments in Tagaytay that is already closed by 6pm.

The best place in Tagaytay, hands down. You won't get wrong on anything that you'll order. The portions and quality of the food you'll get for the price are, for me, spot on. Ambiance, Instagrammable. Bulalo spots are one thing but the Bag of Beans chain is in an another level compared to all of them. 5/5.
