A home-like place in Tagaytay. The rooms are spacious, have a bathroom, TV and cabinets. I can't complain about the bed because it is super nice. There's a small gazebo outside where you can hangout and do some yoga. The free breakfast for guests gets you 1 piece of egg, unlimited bread, unlimited spreads, coffee and milk. There are only 2 staff members who will be glad to assist you checking in and make sure your house needs are attended to. Just check in and make yourselves comfortable. Vehicle parking is available. Tip: This house is in the corner of Maharlika street and Smokey Hill drive.

Heads up, this is a hostel type stay. Free breakfast and friendly staff. Even the eruption occurred, receptionist tried to contact us to make sure we were fine. Can't complain about the price, great for people on a budget. Towel usage free

DO NOT BOOK HERE. IT HAS BEEN CLOSED FOR A FEW YEARS NOW. Hotels.com won't be able to help you as the number posted does not work and is unable to be contacted therefore you WILL NOT get your money back. The fact that it is still there means there is something wrong. If I could leave 0 stars I will.

Perfect for backpackers who are on a budget. To be honest with you, i booked their cheapest rate. A bed in their dorm type room that can house 6 individuals. The bed is okay, about 4inches uratex which is fine. You're given one lumpy pillow, so I brought my own travel pillow. The blanket is scratchy so do please bring your own comfortable fleece if you have one, like me. The bottom bunks of the three double decker beds have privacy screens so you can hide away from others if that's your style. At the time I am staying here, wifi was unavailable. Though this isn't an issue for me since I really happen to just detach from the bustle of Manila city. It's chilly, so do remember to bring your jackets if you're not used to it. The comfort room/shower is okay. They're all functional, however the heater doesn't seem to work. Ask assistance from their care taker, kuya Velmir. The caretakers are really nice. You can talk to them about anything at all and will even help you set up your transportation should you wish to go boat riding in Taal lake. The free breakfast is passable. Just bread, banana, cereal/oats, and coffee. I highly recommend you go up to their roof deck around twilight. Just look up the sky and watch the sky change colors. I recommend doing this with coffee in your tumblers. And don't listen to music. Just chill and listen to the breeze. This calm and peace isn't something you'll ever find in Manila. Just FYI. 😊 Overall, if your on a budget and looking for the bare necessities, OMP is your place. It's near a lot of restaurants aswell so you won't have an issue with dining.

My friends and I spent our escapade here last April. They are very accommodating. We arrived very early at no time for check in but they accepted us and even let us stay in our room. They educate us also about the place (Tagaytay) with all the tourist spots to visit (just like tourists!). They offer bread and coffee for breakfast but lock the house at night, though you're allowed to go out -- just bring the keys! I didn't even feel I'm away from home actually. They offer discounts to returning client, and definitely we will be going back next time. Home away from home!

The place was strategically located at the heart of Tagaytay City, neatly tucked in quiet neighbourhood, very cozy and homey and the rates are surprisingly low,

Quiet neighborhood near main roads; very low interaction hosts; bargain prices; functional but spartan; wash own dishes; no towel or soap.

I think it's one of the best lodges in Tagaytay! When my fiancee and I stayed there last December we really felt at home with this place, the ambience is peaceful;staff are friendly and accommodating; place is clean and they even provide free wifi. Even better if their free breakfast consists of fried rice, hotdogs, longanissa and other typical viands. Recently my fiancee tried to book again for her trip with her mom, however no one of their staff responded to her either through facebook or phone that gave her impression that this place is closed for good.

Great deal for backpackers/travelers who are in a budget. Bookable thru Agoda. We were able to reserve a room for two for just 700-800php per night with free breakfast of bread, spread, and coffee. Walking distance from main road and jeepney and bus stop. We did not have an aircon in our room, but we had an electric fan. However, due to the cool temp in Tagaytay, an aircon is somewhat unnecessary especially if you will only sleep in the place. Shared bathroom and heater was not working during our stay, but it's not a problem with us. Overall, (again) good deal for those who are in a budget.

this is a homey place to stay. it really feels like home. if you wish to get away from the noise of the busy street, stay here. they have friendly and accommodating staff. the rooms are affordable. just a short distance from the main road and different restaurants in the city. if you are fond of walking, sky ranch would be 20-30 minutes away. how to get there if you are from manila? go to bus stations to south at EDSA pasay (near the taft avenue mrt station). once you are in tagaytay, tell the driver to stop at magallanes. then walk south towards smokey hill drive (5-minute walk) and OMP (with blue building) is just beside a certain hotel there.

This hostel looks like a place that once was a really nice hostel. The beds and mattresses were very uncomfortable. Like everywhere in the Philippines the people are very friendly. If the hostel would get an update, the price would be more in line with the quality.
